    Sprott Market Strategist:
Explosion in Nuclear Energy Demand Coming

    A Conversation with Kevin Bambrough
    Sprott Asset Management Uranium Strategist

SUMMARY: Sprott Asset Management uranium expert Kevin Bambrough talked with us about the “second leg” of the current uranium bull market. He sees a massive nuclear build up heading our way with “the environmentalists leading the charge.” This is part one of a two-part interview.

    StockInterview:
Price forecasts on spot uranium are widening. Some insiders have predicted uranium prices may drop back into the $30/pound range; others, such as yourself, continue to suggest $50/pound or higher. Any comments on the forecasts others are making?

    Kevin Bambrough:
There are many people forecasting uranium prices now. It’s important to consider their track record of forecasting prices. Look at the contracts that have been written by many companies in the industry, over the last number of years. Anyone who had ceilings, or had signed fixed-priced contracts, has been punished. Very few people in the industry predicted what has happened. Looking forward, I think that in our view, the cost of production of current producers isn’t going to be as relevant as it has been in the past. It will be the more marginal, much higher cost producers who will be setting the price................

Part of this Week's Newsletter Wednesday, April 12, 2006

    Dear Members,
The reason that I was not able to send an alert last week is that I am at my Guru's Place, which is located a very remote place in India. Indeed I am sending this brief newsletter from an internet cafe.

Metal markets are absolutely contrary to what I initially saw concerning the overall trend for 2006, and this is making me very uncomfortable as my advice is not fruitful at this stage. Until I am right, I don't recommend aggressive trading based on my advice in regard to metals.

    This week's newsletter - Predictions for 9 to 14 April 2006
    Gold
Gold's trading was mixed during the last week though it hit a multi year high of nearly 24 years. This week should trade up on Monday though Tuesday will be the right time to sell gold.

A weak trend is indicating from Wednesday to Friday.

I see a similar trend for silver and all other metals.

WARNING - Though I have been off track on metals, traders should remember that if any fall occurs in the metals market, then it will be a very nasty one.

Official: France sold 161 tonnes of gold in 2005

    MENAFN - 11/04/2006

(MENAFN) The chief of the Central Bank of France said that the bank has sold 161 tonnes of gold in 2005, for a value of $2.30 billion, Reuters reported.
Bank of France Governor Christian Noyer declined to comment on the pace at which the central bank would sell gold in 2006, saying only it would depend on market conditions and take place in conformity with an accord by central banks.

The Central Banks' Gold Agreement, which came into force in September 2004, bound banks to cap their total sales at 2,500 tonnes in the 2004-2009 period, compared with 2,000 tonnes in the previous five years.

The official said that the central bank would use revenues generated from its gold sales to invest in foreign exchange.

Was bei der ganzen Freude etwas nachdenklich stimmt:
Die Minen ziehen nicht so mit:

Interview mit Johann A. Saiger: "Dann fahren wir zur Hölle!" :D

Was will man mehr?

    Speculative BUY
    Target Price: $0.90
    Developing the Wolverine:
    A Silver-Rich Massive Sulphide Deposit

An all-season highway passes within 20 km of the project and continues southward to regional centres in
northern British Columbia. Subject to environmental permits, Yukon Zinc plans to build an all-season access
road to connect the project with the highway. The company believes a decision on its road-access permit
application could be received in Q2/06. By road, the project is 860 km from a commercial sea port located in
Stewart, BC, where mineral concentrates could be shipped to overseas markets for smelting and refi ning.
The Wolverine project lies within a mountainous region with subdued local topography. Local elevations
range from approximately 900 m to 2100 m. Daily average temperatures in the project area range from
approximately 25°C during the winter to 15°C in the summer. Precipitation in the region averages 400 mm per
year. Rock outcrop is sparse except near ridge crests and along actively eroding creek cuts.
Power to the project will be provided by diesel-powered generator sets.

Canadian Coalbed Methane Stocks: 7 Things to Know Before Investing

    By James Finch
More investors are now inquiring about Coalbed Methane exploration companies. Just as uranium miners were flying well below the radar screen in early 2004, coalbed methane exploration may very well be the next very hot sector later this year and next. Historically, coalbed methane gas endangered coal miners, resulting in alarming fatalities early in the previous century. This is the fate suffered today by many Chinese coal miners in the smaller, private coal mines. Typically, the methane gas trapped in coal seams was flared out, before underground mining began, in order to prevent those explosions. Rising natural gas prices have long since ended that practice.
