    Monarques Gold Undertakes A Gold Resource Estimate For Its Mckenzie Break And Swanson Properties

    Montreal, Quebec, Canada, February 13, 2018 – MONARQUES GOLD CORPORATION is pleased to announce that
    gold resource estimates will be prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 for its McKenzie Break and Swanson properties. The Corporation has retained the services of Géologica of Val-d’Or for the McKenzie Break property and InnovExplo Inc. for the Swanson property. Monarques acquired the two properties from Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (NYSE: AEM, TSX: AEM) on December 21, 2017.


    “These technical studies will produce resource estimates of our two new acquisitions, which are located near our Beacon and Camflo mills,” said Jean-Marc Lacoste, President and Chief Executive Officer of Monarques.
    “The purpose of the studies is to confirm the current resource on the properties and increase the Corporation’s total resource. They will also help us to establish a value for these assets and better understand their gold potential.
    We expect to receive the study results within the next three or four months, followed by the NI 43-101 technical reports.”

    VANCOUVER, Feb. 13, 2018 /CNW/ - Silver Range Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:SNG) ("Silver Range") is pleased to announce that it has been awarded prospecting permits covering an Archean conglomerate-hosted (Pilbara style) high grade gold target in Nunavut with historical grab samples up to 142 g/t gold.
    Mineralization at the Tree River property is similar in age, setting and style to gold mineralization recently discovered by Novo Resources in the Pilbara district of Australia:

    • Gold is hosted in a regionally extensive shallow marine conglomerate.
    • The host conglomerate is dated between 2,940 and 2,700 Ma based on detrital zircons in proximal sediments, placing it in the favourable time window for the "Great Gold Deposition Event" (Q. Hennigh, 2016).
    • Pods of high grade gold mineralization are present within a much larger envelope of lower grade material.
    • Carbonaceous seams parallel to bedding are locally abundant.
    • Pyrite is abundant and a significant proportion is reported to be rounded and detrital in origin.

    In the future these insights could be used to refine the precious metal from ores that only contain small amounts of metal - something that's currently a very tricky prospect.


    Once the entire cycle is understood, gold can also be produced from ores containing only a small percentage of gold without requiring toxic mercury bonds as was previously the case.

    Tuvatu Gold Expected to Get Further $140m


    Lion One Metals expects to invest a further $140 million into its Tuvatu Gold Project by the end of 2019.
    This is in addition to the initial $100 million the com­pany invested into starting the project as they aim to be­come the premier high grade gold producer in Fiji.
    The Canadian company’s general manager Stephan Mann said apart from the $140 million additional to be spent on development, the company would also continue exploring its tenements holding in the Sabeto Valley to ensure the mine will operate for a long time into the future.
    Lion One Metals holds a 200 square km exploration license package covering the entire Navilawa volcano, with the Tuvatu mining lease at its centre.
    “Lion One also contributes funds to vari­ous community projects, and currently em­ploys all local staff,” said Mr Mann.


    Best practices
    He also said building a new gold mine to international best practices required con­siderable funds to ensure the project was at the appropriate standard from an environ­mental and safety point of view, and well as economically viable.
    The Tuvatu Gold Project sits in the Navil­awa volcano, in the upper reaches on the Sabeto mountain range and looking down over Nadi Airport.
    “The development of the Tuvatu gold mining project is moving along steadily,” Mr Mann said.
    “The company has been, and remains very active in its exploration activi­ties to ensure it identifies further resources so any mining operation will be running a long time into the future.
    “The company is hoping to develop a very long term mining operation which will benefit all the people of Fiji for a long time to come.
    “In relation to its development activities, the company has commenced civil earth­works for the area which will contain the process plant and surface infrastructure.
    “This includes upgrades of roads and bridges throughout the area.”
    Mr Mann said the company has also dewa­tered the pre-existing exploration decline into the ore body so it was able to drill, sample and geologically map the gold min­eralisation.
    “Lion One has a large tenement area to explore for gold and other minerals in the Sabeto Valley.
    “Within that area, it also has a 384 hectare mining licence, within which it can mine for minerals,” he said.
    “In actual fact, some of the delays to the project are due to changes made to the pro­posed mining operation to ensure that Lion One’s Tuvatu Gold Mine is built to the highest international standards.”
    The mining operation has not commenced as of now and the company does not expect the first shipment of gold until early 2020.


    About new ventures
    Mr Mann said every new mining venture en­countered obstacles now and again, and Tuva­tu was no different.
    “The company has spent a lot of time de-risk­ing the project to ensure it will abide by the highest safety and environmental standards, and it will be economically operational long into the future.
    “This means that the company has to be pro­active in identifying problems before they are encountered and address them early in the pro­cess.
    “The company is very grateful of the support of the community, landowners, Government departments and other stakeholders, all of whom have helped ensure that any potential problem can be addressed as soon as possible.”
    The company currently employs almost 50 lo­cal staff members and has no resident expatri­ate staff.
    “When the operation is commissioned and commences gold production late in 2019, the company will have around 250 local employees.
    “Additional to that, the company contracts a lot of its work to local companies, and as such, the company will have direct and indirect workforce of in excess of 2500 people.”

    Der GDX hat sich massiv zum Handelsende erholt und nachbörslich wurden in 4 Minuten schon 4 Millionen Anteile gehandelt bei einem nachbörslichen Anstieg um über 1 %.


    Heute lief eine große Manipulation und Sauerei in den Minen.

    Den Eindruck werde ich auch nicht los, eine ganz große Verarsche war das gestern.
    Da wurde so gut wie alles verprügelt.

    Guyana Goldfields Inc. Reports Significant Mineralized Intercepts From Its First Ever Diamond Drill Programs at Iroma and Wynamu

    Iroma
    Assay results have been received for seven out of the nine holes drilled to date.
    Drill hole IRD-001 returned gold grades of 1.04 g/t Au over 14 meters with a higher-grade interval 1.90 g/t Au over 4 meters.
    Drill hole IRD-002, drilled 40 meters to the southeast of IRD-001, returned 1.01 g/t Au over 26 meters including higher grade intervals of 2.47 g/t Au over 7 meters and 3.69 g/t Au over 2 meters.


    Wynamu
    The Wynamu prospect is located 40km northeast of Aurora.
    A shallow diamond drill program commenced in 2017 to test significant gold-in-soil anomalies and trench sampling with best results of 58 meters @ 1.21 g/t Au.
    Four drill holes have been completed totaling 500 meters.
    Assay results have been received for all holes with drill hole WYD-01 returning gold grades of 2.67 g/t Au over 12 meters including higher grade intervals of 6.08 g/t Au over 5 meters and 11.73 g/t Au over 2.5 meters.


    Arangoy
    The Arangoy prospect is located approximately 10 km to the northwest of the Sulphur Rose gold deposit which has a total gold resource of 566,830 ounces (277,580 ounces at 1.04 g/t Au in the measured & indicated category and
    289,250 ounces at 1.42 g/t Au in the inferred category).
    Soil sampling conducted within the vicinity of the greenstone and intrusive lithological contact indicated a large and coherent gold anomaly in soils measuring roughly 1km by 0.5km. A trenching and drilling program is currently being planned to test the gold anomaly. Mobilization and resources to Arangoy will commence in the second half of February.
