    Gang steals 25 million pounds

    London - The Bank of England said on Wednesday that armed robbers had stolen about £25m from a security company in southern England.
    A spokesperson for the bank said the money, in banknotes, was stolen overnight from a cash centre at Tonbridge in Kent county.


    He indicated that no-one was injured in the robbery.


    At least six men participated in the robbery, Kent police said, and 15 staff members on duty at the security company were tied up during the heist.


    The thieves, who wore balaclavas and carried handguns, were in the security company building for more than an hour, police said.


    Detective superintendent Paul Gladstone said the robbery was clearly planned in detail over time.

    Ja, Ja, Solar.. deine Kritik mag berechtigt sein,ich haette auch gern mein Geld zurueck von den Leuten die mich beschissen haben.
    Wir wissen es, Schadenfreude ist die beste Freude, also freu dich mal darauf wenn es dir gut tut.


    Du kannst soviel Schatten drauf werfen wie du willst, jeder handelt nach seiner Einstellung was gut oder schlecht ist.

    2005 demand for gold hits record of $53.7 billion


    26% rise in investment demand in tonnage terms in 2005


    Jewellery demand 14% higher in $ terms than 2004 despite the impact of a volatile price in Q4


    Net inflows into Exchange Traded Funds totalled 203 tonnes or $3 billion
    Consumers and investors pushed demand for gold to a record level of $53.6 billion in 2005,     according to figures published today by the World Gold Council (WGC), with all categories of demand (jewellery, industrial and investment) recording double-digit year-on-year growth in dollar terms.


    Identifiable investment demand totalled 600 tonnes in 2005, a 26% rise on the previous year, whilst jewellery demand rose 5% (2,736 tonnes) and industrial demand by 2% (419 tonnes). It was also a record year in dollar terms for total consumer demand (3,132 tonnes) which includes both retail investment and jewellery.

    Atlas Mining Company's Letter to its Shareholders


    This past year our main goal has been the development of the Dragon Mine. We have a complete infrastructure on site. We are making improvements to it on a regular basis. The decline is being driven along side the clay bed and we have cut development slots into the bed as we progress. Although the KDS processing machine does a good job of drying and grinding our material, it was not made to separate the dirty material from the clay. The clay at the top of the bed is a little dirtier than below, so we have been working on a processing method to clean up this halloysite that we are mining. Meanwhile we are driving to the lower areas of the mine where we should find cleaner material. We are also exploring some newly exposed outcrops of material found on the surface and in the same area of the decline. The key to our ability to continue these activities was the private placement money we received from some institutional investors. With these funds we were able to pick up our pace at the Dragon Mine, and we will continue this effort until the mine is in a positive cash flow state.


    Stock performance this last year has improved ?(. We started 2005 with a stock price of $0.41 and ended the year with a price of $0.97. The price made it to $1.51 and stayed above $1.00 for quite a bit of the year. This is a long way from the $0.10 price range we had suffered with for several years. The stock performance helped bring some investors to the company and we were able to raise over $4.5 million during the year through private placements as a result :rolleyes:. With these funds we have paid off our debts, bought the Dragon Mine and been able to ramp up our development activities at the mine. This is the first time in Atlas Mining Company’s long history that we have had adequate capital to accomplish our goals.


    Another key event in 2005 was the appointment of Dr. Ron Price to the board of directors. Dr Price has been working with micro-tubular and nano-related particles at the US Naval Laboratory for a number of years. His involvement in this field has brought us together because of the unique tubular structure of our Dragon halloysite clay. We are very pleased with Dr. Price’s assistance and dedication to our company. Through his efforts, the Navy has licensed its microtubular patent to several potential users. He has been working with Nano Dynamics and NaturalNano and others to develop potential uses for our product. Nano Dynamics has indicated a strong interest in our products from a buildings materials manufacturer and a plastics manufacturer. Although our memorandum of understanding and warrant package has expired with Nano Dynamics, we still have these potential users, and will continue to work with them. Natural Nano has recently gone public and is now moving rapidly on its pursuit to find separation methods for the halloysite micro tubes. We are pleased with all this progress, and feel the many contributions to the halloysite micro tubular and nano sciences will be of great benefit to us. The researchers in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and paint and plastics industries are busy discovering new and exciting applications for our halloysite clay and its rare and unique qualities. We hope to announce additional news about these developments. Although we have not created any sales of our product in 2005, we feel that this next year will produce the results we have all been waiting for. We purposely held off on making any commitments to the conventional markets as we know the nano and micro tubular markets will soon open up for us.


    Our contracting entity, Atlas Fausett Contracting, completed a job in Delta Junction, Alaska this year and has been working at the Lucky Friday Mine in north Idaho for Hecla Mining. We created approximately $630,000 in revenue in 2005 from this work with a gross margin of around 25%. We recently were awarded a major project here in north Idaho, which could more than double this revenue stream and help move us closer to a positive cash flow. We also intend to bid on other projects during the year. We have been very careful not to take manpower and equipment from the Dragon Mine as we participate in contracting work, but our ability to recruit good miners has enabled us to maintain a presence in the contracting arena. This line of work also brings us opportunities for potential acquisitions and joint ventures.


    Along the lines of potential acquisitions, we have been quietly looking at other properties. As the Dragon Mine becomes self sufficient we will be ready to move to the next project. Our areas of interest are both precious and base metals in the western U.S. and Newfoundland, Canada. We think the next major mining boom in Canada will be in Newfoundland, and we are working with an exploration group there to locate and stake claims on this virtually untapped province.


    The timber industry has seen some good price increases in the past year, and our interest in this resource is still active. Over the past couple years we have found many of the major timber companies selling off their U.S. holdings, making possible acquisitions available. Many of these properties also maintain the mineral rights as well. As the opportunities come up we will continue to look for acquisitions in this area.


    Our goal for the upcoming year is to bring the Dragon Mine into a positive cash flow position, and to find other ventures that can create a positive impact for the company. As the company grows and becomes more viable we intend to move to other exchanges to enhance the tradability of your stock. Although we are not where we want to be yet, we have taken some significant steps this past year. We thank you for your loyalty and support.

    Ja, sentimental wird man oft aber es hilft nichts.
    Man muss Realist sein und versuchen positive zu denken auch wenn es oft schwer faellt.
    RSA koennte mal ein Zufluchtsort werden wenn der grosse Krieg kommt in der Welt. Wie lange es noch gut geht hier ?, schwer zu sagen.
    Wir hoffen alle das die schwarze Regierung nicht die selben Fehler macht wie die anderen Nachbarstaaten in der Vergangenheit.
    Ich vermute es geht erstmal weiter runter in den naechsten 4 Jahren, man versucht die Welt nicht zu entaeuschen wegen der Soccer WM.
    Danach, oh je, nichts gutes schaetze ich, denke mal im Jahr 2015 wenn die Schwarzen sich selber aufgerieben haben kann man wieder kommen, erst dann wenn sie Einladungen verschicken an weisse Fachkraefte.


    Wahrscheinlich reisst sich der Ami das Land untern Nagel, das ist was sie immer wollten.
    Erstmal laesst man die Neger ran, die wissen ganz genau was da rauskommt.
    Die Rohstoffe und strategische Lage um die ging es immer, Apartheid war nur ein Vorhaengeschild um sich hier einzumischen.


    Eine dreckige Politik der Freimaurer/Illuminata, sonst nichts.

    Der Mensch ist wie ein Herdentier, die rennen dahin wo das Gras am hoechsten ist und wenn alle soweit abgegrast ist ziehen sie weiter.


    Der Mensch wird erst richtig gefaehrlich wenn er nichts zum essen hat.

    Ich vermisse auch hin und wieder meinen Kulturkreis, wenn es mich packt dann setze ich mich in den Flieger.
    Ich besuche meine Leute, esse und trinke und hau dann wieder ab.
    Schoener Vergleich, bin dann wieder kurz froh den Tafelberg zu sehen nachdem ich mir anhoere wie die jammern und unzufrieden sind in D.

    Ihr koennt sagen was ihr wollt, wenn die Welt ruhig bleibt wie heute und keine Krise da ist geht Gold meistens runter zwischen April und August.
    Der Oilpreis meistens auch, es ist ja warm. :D
    Schaut mal auf die Charts der letzten Jahre, soll aber keine Faustregel sein.
    Der Dollar hat noch Luft nach oben,auch der crazy DOW, aber nicht mehr lange.
    Spaetestens ab Oktober, vielleicht zieht es sich ins Fruehjahr 2007 geht die Bombe hoch.IMO
    Ein DJ crash wird kurzfristig die PM Aktien mit runter reissen bevor sie den Hoehenflug starten.


    Hebt Euch Moos auf fuer den Sommer, ist eine gute Zeit zum shoppen.
