Fear is receding…Gold needs to stay above $465

The level of intensity of my recent spate of communications has heightened because I saw the markets reaching for a point of structural decision; and I tend to pay much more attention when that happens. It seems to me that the markets have now taken the necessary structural decision: "Fear" is receding.

This will therefore be my last gold oriented communication for a while. There are too many other matters competing for attention.

In the centre chart below (of gold - courtesy Decisionpoint.com) if you draw a trendline joining gold's peak price in mid 1993 to its peak price in early 1996, and you extend that trendline both back and forward, you get 6 points of intersection - with one at a point of downside gap breakdown in 1990. My own experience is that when trendlines of this nature intersect with a historical gap level (without the chartist consciously trying to achieve such an outcome) it is advisable to sit up and take notice. This line is therefore particularly significant, and shows "support" for gold at $465/ounce.

If this support holds, gold has a chance of remaining within the current angle of incline channel. If not, the probabilities favour gold entering a new - and shallower - angle of incline channel.

Looking at the "set" of three charts holistically, the following observations are of interest:

The Goldollar Index is now hitting resistance of a congestion area established between 1985 and 1988

The Gold price itself is hitting the resistance of its previous 1988 peak (Needs to break by at least 2-3% for the break to be "real")

US Dollar Index has some limited upside (possibly as high as 100), but now has strong support at 90 - ie Downside potential in short to medium term is very limited

Break up of gold - and goldollar index - from this level will imply an entirely new game - as all previous areas of resistance are overcome.

It seems that such an outcome would need to defy logic associated with technical analysis. The Goldollar index line is too "perpendicular" and needs to pull back.

With US Dollar support at 90, implication is that either gold enters new era (gold "explodes" upwards) or pulls back sharply.

If it pulls back to any level above $465, new Bull Market Leg characteristics may be feasible in foreseeable future. Below $465 and the steam will go out for a while.

The ultimate support for gold is at the "key" level of its rising trendline - which is $450.

One of two outcomes seems possible. Either:

$465 will hold and the current angle of incline will remain intact
$465 is penetrated on the downside, but the $450 level holds - implying that a new an shallower angle of incline will manifest.

Eine sehr gute Aktie IMO, ich wuenschte ich haette sie anstatt der Randgold Exploration die eventuell noch Anteile von RR hat.
Leider nicht auf das richtige Pferd direkt gesetzt, es waere mir einiges erspart gewesen ohne Kebble in der Mitte.

Du hast hier in vielen Dingen recht was du sagst.
Weisst du ich bin seit 20 Jahren in Kapstadt und kenne einige Nachbarlaender. Als ich hier eingewandert bin wollte ich es nicht glauben und dachte ich kann etwas daran aendern in dem ich die Schwarzen gut und fair behandle wie jeden anderen im Leben.
Das war aber falsch, bei einen Neger muss man hart und fair sein sonst verliert er den Respekt. Die Neger verstehen nur eine Art von Demokratie und die ist mit einen Diktator.Eine sogenannte Demokratische Diktatur.
Man gibt ihnen nun weichere Strafen als in Amerika, seit dem die Todesstrafe fuer Mord und brutaler Vergewaltigung abeschafft wurde haben sie keine Angst mehr vor dem Gesetz. In einen Land der dritten Welt muessen Arabische Gesetze her sonst kommt ein Chaos und Anarchie ganz schnell.

Die meisten denen man vertraut hat haben sich bedankt mit Diebstahl, Luegen und noch mehr Faulheit. Das groesste Problem kam mit den Missionaren die ins Land kamen die versuchten den Menschen in Afrika die Kultur und Religion aufzudruecken. Sie wurden verwirrt zwischen dem Amerikanischen Lifestyle, was immer das ist und ihrer eigenen Kultur im Niemandsland sozusagen. Sie fluechten von den Landregionen, kommen aus einen Kraal wo sie zumindest essen haben und Tiere halten die sie versorgen koennen und bauen sich eine Blechhuette egal wo. Dann stellen sie fest das es keine Arbeit gibt und das man ein Handy erstmal braucht. Das Geld geht aus fuer Lotto und weiss ich was und sie werden kriminell.

Die einzigen die hier arbeiten sind eigentlich ihre Frauen da der Neger von Haus auf faul ist. Im Kraal hat man mehere Frauen die arbeiten auf den Maisfeld und die Toechter werden verkauft fuer Lebowa. Lebowo sind Rinder, Ziegen, Schafe,sie muss mit und dort bei den Kaufer immer bleiben sonst verlangt er das Lebowa zurueck, das in diesen Jahrzehnt und viele Jahre nach den Missionaren. Da hat sich nicht viel geaendert aber es gibt schon viele die Amerikanische Vorbilder kopieren mit R&B, Drogen und Kriminalitaet. In Kapstadt gibt es 30.000 Kinder die auf den Strassen schlafen und Patex schnueffeln, Drogen nehmen in ihrer Situation sowie keine Eltern haben die sich kuemmern. Koennt Euch ja vorstellen was die machen, Hand aufhalten bei jeder Autofahren der in der Naehe sein Auto kurz stopped.Sie sind ueberall und kennen nur eines die Hand aufhalten, hoffen das sich jemand schuldig fuehlt und ihnen etwas gibt. Das meiste geht wieder in Drogen und man erreicht da gar nichts damit. Die eigenen Politker kuemmern sich nach der Wahl einen Dreck um die eigenen Leute und sitzen dann spaeter in der Schweiz.

Die meisten Neger denken nur an heute,planen, denken, sparen nicht fuer morgen. Man gibt ihnen Kredit in den Gechaeften und sie sehen nicht die Konsequenzen. Ich hatte mal eine Putzfrau die hatte zum Schluss 5.000 Euro Schulden in verschiedenen Geschaeften und gab an sie hat einen Vollzeit Job bei mir. Die ueberprueften das gar nicht und dachten nur an Umsatz. Ihre Adresse, Blechhuette 2135 im Township,dort kommt keine Rechnung, die kam zu mir.
Sie haute ab und die Geschaefte laden die unbezahlten Rechnungen auf die naechsten Kunden.

Mehr faellt mir momentan nicht ein, es wird noch hunderte Jahre dauern bis sie es kapieren das es der falsche Wege ist.
Das ganze Multi Kulti und Rassenvermischung funktioniert nicht, Kultur und Lebensweise zu mischen fuehrt zum Chaos auf lange Zeit.
Legt mal Buntwaesche und weisse Kleidung in die Waschmaschine und schaut was passiert, eine Regenbogen Waesche wie dieses Land.

Ich habe oft miterlebt wie reiche Neger ihre Leute behandeln, da ist ein weisser Rassist ein Lamm dagegen.

Ein Fass ohne Boden wird Afrika noch fuer sehr, sehr lange Zeit bleiben, ich habe die Zeit und die Geduld nun verloren etwas daran zu aendern.
Kurz spaeter ist der selbe Mist wieder da und es war alles umsonst.
Der Schwarze ist reiner Verbraucher und kein Produzent, kein Vergleich zu den Menschen in Asien oder Indien wo das Elend auch herrscht.

Das Problem liegt auch an der Genetik, die meisten hinken ihren Alter Verstandsmaessig ein drittel hinterher.

Wenn man das erkannt hat und dann Abstand haelt und seine Meinung auessert wird man schnell als Rassist bezeichnet.

Ich habe nichts gegen Neger, ich finde jeder sollte einen haben, wir haben genug und schicken sie Euch gerne zur Umerziehung nach Deutschland wer denkt ich spinne mit meiner Meinung. Sobald sie dann wieder hier sind fallen sie nach einiger Zeit wieder um und der Trott geht weiter.

SELLING TIME FOR METALS,.. LIKE OIL STORY?
Dear Friends,

After tons of email requesting hint on metals, I decided to put small part of newsletter here.

Dear Members,

We are at the final stages of the year and 2006 is right around the corner. During this year, oil and metals were in the bull market with both out to convince the investor community that they are precious and part of nature. Oil has been quite speculative and fast growing to be a threat to world economy. Indeed, its impact on the common man’s pocket was beginning to be acutely felt but thanks to Saturn, oil has been compelled to cool down. Gold story is different and sure we will talk on this.

Today’s newsletter will focus more on the stock market as this is the one area where I have been consistently incorrect for the last sixteen months. This means that the method I have been applying in predicting the stock market has been proved wanting. This therefore calls for a radical shift and I shall consequently discontinue the approach. Throughout my career, I have been able to predict most markets’ top and bottom well in advance as well as their long term trend. For the last two years however, my market predictions have been completely wrong.

In life, there is no point of being obstinate and stubbornly following a path that does not lead to the desired end. I therefore acknowledge when I am wrong and strive to rectify myself so as to offer better guidance in future. Read the stock market predictions section for this week and possible future outlook.

Let us see what this week’s trend is:

PREDICTIONS FOR 28 NOVEMBER TO 2 DECEMBER

GOLD

Last week’s Jupiter has fulfilled and Jupiter is enjoying his time with friends who support him. Many of my members are asking what is next for gold. Will it continue to rise till prices reach $800 or $1000? Well, my answer is actually “NO”! I see a short term downward trend emerging in the middle of next year. This will exert pressure on gold for a while but at the end of the next year, “fire will appear” in gold.

It is therefore quite apparent that time is not too far when gold will attain my predicted price of $1000.

This week gold may remain unstable or volatile. We are therefore likely to see movements on both sides. Planetary movements indicate that gold should not trade above the $500 mark this week as that would be a negative sign. The week should therefore be on the weak side for gold if it is to move according to the wave of nature. Once again, I do not see it going above $500 for more than four hours. Monday metals will remain in rising trend but during these two one should take advantage...

On the higher side, gold could reach $502.80. At this figure, one can go short and buy back on....

SHORT TERM – VOLATILE

I shall henceforth try to include more details for gold’s weekly trend as many of my members are from the metal community.

SILVER

My favourite metal is moving up slowly and with caution. Last week’s upside predicted price was fulfilled.

This week’s high level mark for silver is $8.26. However, it could reach $8.32 in case it crosses this level. Trading more than two hours at this price means that a fall will follow thereafter. On the down side, silver could reach.....

Important Note: IF GOLD TRADES BELOW...

IF METAL DOESN'T FALL ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY (THEY SHOULD FALL) WILL CONFIRM THAT THEY WILL MOVE MORE UP. SO WAIT FOR MY ALERT ON THURSDAY.

PALLADIUM

Last week Venus indicated getting out from palladium and that was justified by what we witnessed: prices went down and should remain weak during this week, High can be $267.80. I do not expect palladium to fall below $232.80 in the medium term and could therefore be a good price to accumulate.

SELLING IS RECOMMENDED AT: $262.8

PLATINUM

The last recommendation was right and I recommend selling platinum again this week. Platinum prices could fall up to nine percent in the next two weeks.

COPPER

The top has been formed as the second half of Mars’ cycle does not recommend any buying position in it. Once again I confirm that $198.80 should reach and (maximum $201.80 can be top of copper) and prices should fall from there. During this week copper may once more attempt its previous high of $198.80. On the down side it could fall down to $178.80 in the next two weeks.

IN METALS I AM TALKING ABOUT DECEMBER CONTRACT, FROM NEXT WEEK I WILL WRITE ON FEB GOLD, MARCH SILVER/COPPER/PALLADIUM.

STOCK MARKET

As I mention at the beginning, I have been off track on all major stock market recommendations. I don’t recommend going short or long on indexes based on my advice, at least for a short period. I would like to consistently score correct for three continuous weeks as that will confirm whether I am on the right path or not. I do not want anyone to lose any more money for I know that in this year my members have lost those who trading indexes on my recommendation.

My new theory indicates that major stock markets will trade in a positive cycle for the next ninety days, so one thing is confirm that world indexes will fall after ninety days. However, it also shows that we are VERY NEAR THE END OF THE BULL CYCLE. I shall categorise the world market into four regions and write about each of the four regions.

For ASIA, I shall only feature Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and India.

For EUROPE, we shall have France, Germany, England and Switzerland.

In the WESTERN MARKET there will be Canada and the USA.

Finally, I shall separately write on South Africa, Latin America, Australia and Russia.

I SHALL START WRITING THE DETAILED PREDICTIONS IN THE FORMAT SPELT ABOVE AS FROM NEXT WEEK. IN THE MEANTIME, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THREE PREDICTIONS:

MOST OF THE WORLD FINANCIAL MARKETS WILL HAVE A GREAT FALL FROM THE FOURTH WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2006.
FIRST THE EUROPEAN MARKET SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO GIVE NEGATIVE SIGNS. THIS WILL BE THE REASON FOR MAJOR INDEXES BECOMING WEAK FROM THE LAST WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2006.
THE ASIAN AND USA MARKETS WILL REMAIN IN RANGE THOUGH SIGNS OF FALLING WILL BE SEEN FROM EIGHTH OF DECEMBER 2005 BUT STILL THEY IT SHOULD REMAIN IN RANGE.
LATIN AMERICA WILL REMAIN UNCERTAIN WHILE RUSSIA WILL GAIN MORE THAN THREE PERCENT.

CURRENCIES

This week .....

Over all the US Dollar is still in a bull-run and one should therefore hold the buying position.

Finally, I wish to say that next year’s predictions will be quite interesting for all currencies. Indeed, their prospects appear robust and I am very excited about it.

Troisdorf hat es verdient ihn in die Schranken zu weisen, weiss der Kukuck wer dieser Rocky war, aber um den ist eh nicht schade bei seinen zwei ""Beitraegen"". Ich glaube es war ein Doppelgaenger den man schnell eingebucht hat, als neuer Fanclub.

Weisst du ich mag keine faulen Gerueche in diesen Forum erst Recht nicht wenn man sich so lange verstanden hat, Spass hatte und dieses Forum auf den besten Stand zu bringen wie es heute ist mit wertvollen Mitgliedern die obendrauf auch ein Herz haben. Das sind wenigstens Leute mit Stil !!.

Wir hatten mal Zoff und haben unsere Probleme doch laengst aussortiert bin ich der Meinung.
Ich glaube das ist Schnee von gestern was ihr redet was zwischen mir und Ghost passiert ist.

Als Moderator hast du richtig reagiert aber wie du sehen kannst wehre ich mich auch selber mit Schrift und Bild.
Falls ich hier zu aggressive wirke, verzeiht mir das sind eben momentan meine Emotionen durch dieses Ereigniss.
Da brauche ich keinen Spott oder bloede Anrede oben drauf.

Bezueglich Rassismus, es sind nicht alle schlecht, wer aber hier eine zeitlang lebt wird automatisch ein sogenannter ""Rassist"".
Komischerweise die meisten Einwanderer die nach einen Jahr im Land sind, regen sich mehr auf ueber die Neger als die hier geboren sind oder Jahrzehnte leben. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht das die meisten Negerfreunde im Endeffekt nur die Neger bumsen wollen und sich natuerlich auf deren Seite schlagen. Das kann mir sicherlich auch Bob bestaetigen der eine Ahnung hat was ich damit sagen will. Er hat hier einiges sellbst erlebt und kennt die Situation ganz gut. Der Rassismus ist nun umgekehrt, ebenso die Apartheid, jetzt sind wir Weisse die Neger.

Jeder der es nicht glauben will lade ich ein fuer 2 Wochen in Soweto oder Township seiner wahl.

Nun reichts aber, du bezeichnest mich hier als Spinner und stellt Behauptungen auf das es so etwas gar nicht gibt.
Bei den Blut das geflossen ist ebenfalls das sie sich gewehrt hat und der Taeter auch kleine Verletzungen hatte ist die Chance enorm.
Es gibt selbst in der Window Period, falls du weisst was das ist heute schon spezielle Test die sogar auf kleinsten Bestandteile pruefen koennen.
Erst nach 3-6 Monaten mit erneuten Test kann es dann 100% bestaetigt werden. Ich habe nur gesagt das der Verdacht schon besteht und man Spuren gefunden hat, kannst ja ausrechnen wie es weiter geht.

Machen wir gleich einen Test., das Blut eines HIV Infizierten kommt mit deinem in Beruehrung, ich nimm nur eine Nadel weil du es bist und dann sage ich du spinnst. Solche Sachen sind ein Volltreffer.

Eigentlich wollte ich das Thema nicht mehr erwaehnen, das hast du nach deiner Beschwerde im anderen thread hier wieder aufgefrischt.

Da es sich um einen Afrikaner handelte, war die HIV-Angst ebenfalls riesig. Der Täter ist bis heute nicht gefasst. Seine 2 Kumpel, die vor der Tür Wache standen, laufen immer noch frei rum. Sie geht heute kaum noch abends allein vor die Tür.

Standing at the podium at the international Investment Conference in San Francisco last weekend, I was struck that there were as many people in the audience when gold was within a hair of $500 an ounce, as there were in 2001 when the gold price was $260 an ounce. Why is there so little interest in gold, in spite of its price almost doubling in the past five years?

The answer is that we had not seen a bull market in gold -- until now. The increase in the US dollar gold price from $260 an ounce in 2001 was due almost entirely to the devaluation of the US dollar on foreign exchange markets, yet there was much talk during the past few years of "where we are" in the gold bull market. Some people claimed we were in "Phase 1", others said we had entered "Phase 2" and still others thought we may have gone through "Phase 3" and that they bull market was almost over. I maintained that there was no bull market, merely a bear market in the dollar.

But since July of this year the gold price has been rising for reasons not related to exchange rates (also see last week's commentary). I think the auditorium in San Francisco was half empty because the bull market in gold is so young that few even realize it has started. We are, in my opinion, only at the very beginning of Phase 1, if there is such a thing.

People instinctively turn to investments such as gold during times of uncertainty, when they perceive risks that they do not know how to guard against. Since 1982, or thereabouts, we have enjoyed a bull market in stocks, a bull market in bonds, a bull market in real estate and, until only a few years back, a bull market in the dollar. It is no wonder that the people who do think about gold are few and far between. Life has been good during the past twenty-five years.

Prudent people used to buy their cars and keep them ten years. Nowadays it seems that you need a new car every two or three years. Many people don't even own their houses more than five years before they want to "move up". It used to be that people tried to pay off their mortgages, so that they could finally own their own homes. Nowadays houses are mortgaged to the hilt, and if you don't have all the equity in your house cashed out and invested in the stock market you are looked upon as unsophisticated.

We cannot continue to spend more than we produce and borrow more than we can repay, and think that things are normal. It is quite absurd that the largest and wealthiest nation in the world has to rely on the savings of other nations to subsidize its spending and finance its wars.

The last bastion of the US consumer-driven economy is the residential real estate market. Soaring real estate prices, cheap and creative mortgages and low interest rates have enabled consumers to spend far more than they produce. If the rise in real estate prices stops, then economic growth will stop as well, and if real estate prices were to start declining we could see a whole lot of whining.

This week we saw that new home sales in October rose at the fastest pace in twelve years, and the bulls were overjoyed. However, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, homebuilders are starting to feel a softening in the market. Also announced this week was the fact that rents were rising and rental vacancies were declining. It seems that rising mortgage rates and expensive house prices have finally reached a point where people just cannot afford to buy homes any more. Even though new home sales soared in October, existing home sales fell. Inventories of houses for sale are rising and are now the highest in 19 years. Housing affordability, which is currently at a 14-year low, is expected to worsen if interest rates continue to rise.

I suspect that the gold price still has a long way to go before the bull market that just started, is over. Last week I mentioned that I expect the dollar to continue to weaken, and that alone could drive the US dollar gold price to over $800 an ounce. If we are indeed at the beginning of a "real" bull market in gold, the gold price could greatly exceed even that price. If ever there was a time to buy gold, it is now.
