Der Chapman macht an einigen Stellen Freude:

Gold rallied when the dollar went up recently. Our comment was wait until the dollar folds. It did last week and gold shot up again to a new high. That has the elitists suppressing the gold market really concerned, better yet, confused. It is simple, the physical market is overwhelming and will continue to be so for a long time to come. Incidentally, while this was happening, oil dropped $8.00 a barrel. It shows you gold is not about to be denied. Wall Street is brain dead and has been for many years. They don’t get it and don’t want to get it. They couldn’t think outside the box if they wanted too. The longer they and the investors stay away from gold the better it will be. That means gold will go much higher than it would have otherwise. The world is spiraling out of control and nobody cares except us gold bugs, who really understand what is going on. :]

Aflease receives gold, uranium prospecting rights

AFLEASE Gold and Uranium Resources today announced that it had received gold and uranium prospecting rights from government for a number of locations in SA.

The department of minerals and energy approved applications for a total area of over 500,000 hectares, Aflease Chief Executive Officer Neal Froneman said.

The 500,000 hectares, included 403,000 hectares in the Karoo, with extensive areas near Beaufort West, as well as 80,000 hectares in the Springbok Flats.

The aim of the aggressive exploration programme was to both expand the footprint of the company’s existing portfolio of properties near Klerksdorp, and to explore in new locations where Aflease could expand its mining activities, Froneman said.

"There have been many questions about the new mining legislation in SA, but we have put the system to the test and have found that it does work," he added.

"The overwhelming majority of our applications have been accepted, with some already granted, as we continue to build up a portfolio of exciting exploration projects," Froneman stated.

"Once we have all the prospecting rights we need in each location, we will move forward with an exploration programme, and we will shortly be raising the funds to move our dreams of firming up viable new deposits towards reality," he added.

    More Crystallex Speculation or No?

St. LOUIS (ResourceInvestor.com) -- Crystallexýs contract to develop the Las Cristinas gold mine in Venezuela could be renegotiated to improve the terms for the government, according to Camiven Mining Chamber President Gilberto Sanchez.

ýThe Chavez administration is accelerating its political and economic project along socialist lines,ý he said. ýAnd a revised Cristinas contract could entail giving small minerýs a 10% stake in the action, upping the royalty rate Crystallex must pay, and reducing the length of the contract from 40 to 20 years.ý

According to a Resource Investor reader, a Crystallex spokesperson discredited the statement.

ýThat is pure speculation. We have a contract to operate Las Cristinas and we havenýt heard anything from the government to the effect that they want changes,ý the spokesperson said.

The government is currently investigating the status of multinational mining concessions and contracts, and will publish a list of companies not fulfilling their agreements in early 2006.

Government mining officials have said that those projects deemed ýinactiveý would be turned over to small mining companies.

Crystallex CEO Todd Bruce previously said at the 2005 Denver Gold Forum, ýLas Cristinas will roll through the process.ý

The fact still remains that Crystallex wonýt be rolling through anything until the Venezuelan government grants the long awaited environmental permit.

    Gold and Dollar Market Summary

    Author: Jim Sinclair

How about we just stuff the fundamentals tonight and look at where gold has major support because $529 is being taken out on the upside?

You laughed at $440 and then at $480 while the top callers bellowed all the way up to that level. Let’s face it, the major resistance level at $518-$529 is being fought against in a frenzy - but it will be all for naught as I see it.

Here is the skinny on December Gold - major support is right here to $3 lower. Again at $460 which is major support. Again all the way through the $450s so COT can play all the games it wants - Beige Book and all - but they are going down.

The US dollar is playing at the 90.50 level just like it did at the 80.50 level. So let us see if the masters of spin can spin the stars of hedge funds into more dollar bullishness. :]

Count the times the dollar hit .8050 and failed to break down then you know that is the limit on any resistance point on the upside before that point becomes a secondary top, leading to the ultimate long term downside rout.

Don't forget to get long Canadian Federal T-bills to hedge your US dollar liquid assets 50/50 just to maintain status quo buying power.
