Hallo Timber-Interessenten
Hallo MAL2
ich habe unter http://www.canadiancoinnews.ca/inthisissue.html das gefunden:
"Howl at the moon
The new silver bullion coin will contain one-half-ounce of silver.
Designed by artist RCM engraver William Woodruff, it features a lone eastern timber wolf standing on a hill on a full-moon winter night.
With a premium of about $1.50 over bullion content, the issue is expected to have a retail value of about $5.
Most bullion coins are traded as metal, with no numismatic premium.
Silver is usually purchased in one-ounce increments. It is often viewed as a low-budget alternative to gold.
However, silver is a very volatile metal, which has seen several dramatic booms and busts since the 1960s.
While the Royal Canadian Mint expects the half-ounce silver coin to become a series, Aquino said the coin was conducted as a pilot program to determine market demand.
The RCM hasn't decided if future issues will feature the same design, or something similar.
"If the coin is popular, the Mint may choose to continue to produce it as is, or we could develop a series of new designs," she told Canadian Coin News. "At this point it is too early to make such decisions.
"The Mint is currently responding to our customers' demands and ultimately the market will determine if we continue with the products."

Leider keine Auflagenhöhe, aber zumindest der Hinweis auf die Zukunft.
Kurzgefasst: Nichts genaues weiß man nicht
