    TVI Pacific Announces Consolidated Audited Year End Financial Results for 2005

    CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 31, 2006) - TVI Pacific (TSX:TVI - News) announces financial results for the twelve months ended December 31, 2005. All amounts are expressed in Canadian dollars. The highlights provided in this release should be read in conjunction with the Company's consolidated, audited financial statements and Management Discussion and Analysis for the year ended December 31, 2005, which have been filed on Sedar at http://www.sedar.com and are also available on the Company's website at http://www.tvipacific.com.
    Financial Review


    Year 2005 Highlights:


    - Cash flow from operations increased by $5,275,765, from an outflow of $4,141,122 in 2004 to a positive cash flow of $1,134,643 in 2005.


    - Total revenue increased 440% from $3,270,966 for 2004 to $17,669,327 for the year.


    - Net loss for 2005 was $3,097,956 ($0.009 per share) compared to $4,318,811 in 2004 ($0.013 per share) and includes exploration expenditures of $1,716,407.


    - Fourth Quarter cash flow from operations was $887,499 compared to a cash outflow of $2,435,454 in 2004.


    - Fourth quarter net loss was $694,902 ($0.002 per share) compared to a net loss in 2004 of $1,702,937 ($0.005 per share). The fourth quarter net loss includes exploration expenditures of $787,037.

    ...ich steck das mal hier rein, da für Gold und Silber. Für mich irgendwie unbefriedigend :rolleyes:

    Auf Seite 4 Anders als bei den in Deutschland verbreiteten Zertifikaten sind bei ETFs auch Leerverkäufe möglich. Wird ja wohl stimmen wenn's da so steht - ich dachte das sei nicht so ?(

    Exchange Traded Funds - Sargnagel oder Heilsbringer für die Edelmetalle?


    Hanau, 31. März 2006: Die Edelmetallpreise sind in dieser Woche regelrecht explodiert und haben heute Morgen bei den meisten Metallen den höchsten Stand des letzten Vierteljahrhunderts erreicht. Hinter den Käufen stecken in erster Linie Spekulanten, weder langfristig orientierte Investoren, noch Firmenkunden scheinen (verständlicherweise) in der aktuellen Sitation in Kauflaune zu sein.


    Die Käufe der letzten Zeit beim Silber und vorher schon, in den letzten 18 Monaten, beim Gold werden immer wieder mit sog. den sog. Exchange Traded Funds (EFTS) in Verbindung gebracht.     Fortuna on Track for Silver Production in Third Quarter 2006

    VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 31, 2006) - Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FVI - News). Mr. Jorge Ganoza Durant, the President of Fortuna, is pleased to report the Company is on track to produce the first silver at its 100% owned Caylloma mine in Peru, with milling of ore expected to start by the third quarter of 2006.


    The Company continues to make steady progress with mine commissioning and commercial silver production is expected to begin during the third quarter of this year. Mechanical crews initiated work on upgrading the 700 tonne per day processing plant in the first week of March, and the new primary jaw crusher has arrived on site. Also during March, the Company received its Certificate for Mining Operations from the Peruvian government, and awarded the mine production and development contract to Canchanya Ingenieros S.R.L., ("Canchanya") a Peruvian mine contracting firm. Canchanya are currently operating in several underground mines, and are the sole contractor for the Ares mine, one of the largest underground gold-silver operations in the country.


    Production for the first year of operations is projected to be 1.9-million ounces of silver.


    Mr. Jorge Ganoza Durant, President of the Company commented "We are moving on track to achieve the corporate goals we set forth for the Company last year. We are now established in Peru and Mexico with solid projects, and my management team anticipates that we will become a silver producer this year. We are very pleased with how Caylloma is advancing towards production; our team in Peru is doing an excellent job."

    ...danke Edel für Kommentar - freut mich natürlich der Silberling :) - wusste ja nicht, was in seiner Hosentasche schlummerte ;) Schade, dass ich nicht gezieltere Fragen stellen konnte, aber dafür bin/war ich einfch zu wenig durch mit der ganzen Sache, er hätte sicher aufgeschlossen geantwortet. Es wurden dann aber auch keine weiteren Fragen gestellt - vielleicht wegen des "no comment....." er sagte noch, dass er gute Leute an Bord habe welche ev. mitgenommen werden - so ungefähr :)

    Mr. Hottman wirkt auf mich sehr straight, stabil und sympathisch. Er sprich verständlich - wörtlich wie bildlich. Grossartig Neues gibt es wohl nicht, soweit ich das überhaupt beurteilen kann :rolleyes:


    Er sprach zuerst über die Magistral Gold Mine in Mexico 100% owned, fully operational. In den letzten Jahren hohe Kosten, die sich jetzt stabilisieren. Multi Million Ounce Camp. Wealth creation side exiting. Auch Silver, Copper, Lead.
    Dann die Activities in Nevada (nehme an, dass die bekannt sind) - Joint Ventures mit Barrick - bei BMX Property gehört das Land den USA, nur claims ---> also keine Kosten - Cornestone Project start drilling as soon as the snow clears - dann war was mit Cortez Hills, da war Placer Dome, biggest discovery, Barrick ist da dabei (das kapier ich im Nachhinein nicht ganz, ob das jetzt zu NP gehört ?( ) alles in allem natürlich super Aussichten......
    300 companies seien in Nevada :rolleyes:
    Und Utah ist Bat Ridge Property - Drilling 2006, large tonnage open pit style gold/copper/silver system


    ...und zum McEwen-Angebot welches am 5. März abends kam - "only press release, no take over until the document is received - no comment as the quality offer concerns."


    Aber es sollte alles so kommen - create shareholder value.


    NP ---> no hedging, no forwards - pure exploration with Barrick
    NP ---> no financing needed


    Auf die Frage wie weiter mit Mr. Hottman (Gelächter) er habe ein gutes Verhältnis zu McEwen - ev. Chairman, but everything is open.


    Ich sagte dann Mr. Hottman, dass ich ihn als sympathisch im Forum beschreiben werde - das hat ihm wohl gefallen, jedenfalls zog er etwas Silber aus seiner Hosentasche und gab es mir :D :P

    ETF Nears Reality, Silver Soars


    .............According to a CNN report, Credit Suisse said the price could climb further in the medium term, to $15, hoisted by increased consumer and investment demand due to the ETF. James Moore, an analyst with TheBullionDesk.com, said in a note: “Resistance above is now pegged at $10.90 and $11, and I continue to believe silver has the potential to reach $12, once ETF trade actually begins.”


    Some analysts said the ETF has the potential to attract up to 4,000 tons of silver, which would equal nearly two months of consumption, according to Reuters. “There will be more fresh money coming into silver but one must always be vigilant,” a dealer in Singapore told the news agency. “Everyone is now talking about the much-needed pullback but so far we haven’t seen anything yet.”....................

    ...er ist einfach so erfrischend zu lesen - und da er auch über Silber (ziemlich gegen Schluss) schreibt ;)


    "......For a daily dose of Mogambo screaming about silver (MSAS), I offer this interesting PR Newswire bit of news. "Experts maintain that about 40 billion ounces of silver has been mined throughout all of human history, and that about 90% of that has been irretrievably consumed by industry, jewelry, and photography."


    I stop the tape, and caution you to write in your notes that they said that 40 billion ounces have been mined in all of history. Secondly, they note that 36 billion of those 40 billion ounces of silver have been consumed and are now irretrievably lost.


    I re-start the tape. "Most of the approximately 3-5 billion ounces of silver left is in the form of jewelry, mostly held in India." I don't know where you live, but around here the news that most of the silver is in India is like saying it is on the moon. The question on everyone's minds is "So how much silver is available for me to buy, so I can get in on the coming silver bonanza?"


    While obviously deploring my raw greed, they nonetheless answer by saying "Silver that is in the form of above-ground, refined, deliverable, identifiable silver is about 150 million ounces, mostly held at COMEX." I am always surprised by this statistic, as the proposed Barclays silver ETF, alone, is supposed to suck up about 130 million ounces of silver! And there are other silver ETFs in the works around the world, too, and they could suck up hundreds of millions of ounces more!


    As perspective, they write "The U.S. government once held up to 6 billion ounces of silver, but around 2002, the U.S. ran out, and had to buy silver on the open market for its Silver Eagle coin program. The COMEX once had up to 1.5 billion ounces of silver about 10-15 years ago, but today has less than 1/10th of that: 117 million ounces. Conclusion? If there really remains less than 150 million ounces of silver in above ground refined form, then there is about half of an ounce of silver per person in the U.S., which means that if you have a single ounce of silver, the SUA might say that you have 'more than your fair share.' "
