Silver Wheaton Corp. Silver Wheaton plans to use the net proceeds of this financing to pay US$40 million due to Glencore International AG ("Glencore") under a promissory note, and to repay bank debt associated with its recent silver acquisition from Glencore.

The Company expects to have annual silver sales of 15 million ounces in 2006, increasing to 20 million ounces by 2009 and thereafter. Silver Wheaton is unhedged and well positioned for further growth.

This press release shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy nor shall there be any sale of the securities in any state in which such offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful. Wollen Campo Morada in Produktion bringen (polymetall..)
    (Text lässt sich nicht kopieren).

FOCUSED ON DEVELOPMENT OF QUALITY MINERAL ASSETS IN MEXICO

Farallon Resources holds a 100% interest in the Campo Morado precious-metals-rich massive sulphide project in Guerrero State, Mexico. The property is located 160 km southwest of Mexico City. Campo Morado comprises one of the largest polymetallic mineral systems in Mexico.

Farallon acquired the Campo Morado Project in 1995, and since work was initiated later that year, has invested $34.2 million in acquisition, exploration, engineering and support activities. This large commitment resulted in the discovery of six previously unknown deposits and mineralized zones.

Preliminary mineral resources have been estimated for four deposits -- Reforma, Naranjo, El Rey and El Largo. At a $90/tonne cut-off grade, the inferred mineral resource is 9.2 million tonnes, grading 4.08% zinc, 0.79% copper, 1.29% lead, 3.34 g/t gold and 176 g/t silver.

Reforma and Naranjo have been, largely, delineated but the limits of the El Rey and El Largo deposits have not been defined. Other promising mineralized zones, such as Estrella de Oro, G-9 and El Profundo also await drill delineation.

A substantial financing in early 2004 set the stage for project planning, designed to advance the project toward production in 2009. A comprehensive, multi-phased program has begun, involving multi-rig drilling to further outline the Campo Morado deposits and increase the project resources. In parallel, metallurgical, engineering and other studies have been initiated to determine the optimum methods of developing the deposits. It is anticipated that a series of underground, polymetallic mines will be developed at Campo Morado.

Farallon's corporate structure has also been enhanced to facilitate the Company's longer term plans to expand its operations in Mexico, once the Campo Morado project has been taken to production. Dick Whittington, a mining engineer with extensive project development, finance and marketing experience, was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2004. He is responsible for guiding the Campo Morado project through the exploration and development phases. Farallon has also engaged Jorge Villasenor, a mining and metallurgical engineer with over 30 years' experience with mining operations in Mexico, as General Manager, Farallon Mexicana. Based in Farallon's corporate office in Mexico City, Mr Villasenor's will focus on management of the technical facets of mine development as well as communicating with government and other stakeholders on the technical, environmental and socio-economic aspects of Campo Morado and subsequent projects in Mexico.

Silver soars on ETF, but will luster last?

    By Myra P. Saefong, MarketWatch
Last Update: 7:43 AM ET Mar 24, 2006

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Prospects of an exchange-traded fund have pushed futures prices for silver to a more than two-decade high, but the launch of a new investment vehicle may dull some of the metal's shine..........................

....It's also important to note that an ETF in any sector will always be introduced near a peak price for that sector, said Steven Jon Kaplan, a senior editor at TrueContrarian.com.
He points out that the best-known closed-end general equity funds --Salomon Brothers Fund (SBF :15.62, -0.02, -0.1% ) , Central Securities Corp. (CET :24.53, -0.14, -0.6% ) and Adams Express Co. (ADX :13.35, -0.04, -0.3% ) -- were introduced in 1929, "just before the biggest stock market collapse in U.S. history."......

'The public ... is becoming most excited about silver just before it enters a downtrend, which will likely last for at least several weeks.'
    Steven Jon Kaplan, TrueContrarian.com

If the silver ETF is approved in the next few weeks, 'silver will surpass $12 by late spring and be near $20 by year end.'

Trouble Ahead for Junior Uranium? - eigentlich irreführend diese Überschrift

.....And the fundamentals now are much stronger than they were then. I'm concerned about the flood of new uranium companies out there, but we're looking at something comparable to what happened during the Internet boom; when the public becomes involved, the top is going to blow off this market. But as yet, the public barely even knows how to spell uranium; and they don't have a clue they can buy shares of companies that explore for it. My guess is that we're not even midway through this bull market, and when we enter the final stage, the chart above will no longer just be a gradual upward curve but a hyperbolic curve. Someplace between now and then I'll be a seller - but at the moment I remain a buyer.......
