Several targets identified at the Le Plaque area · Maiden resource expected by Q4-2017

LE Plaque Discovery Highlights:
- The 100%-owned Le Plaque area, covering 4km², is located 5km south of the Ity mining complex and has a similar footprint
- Several high-grade mineralized trends were identified at the Le Plaque area, with the largest being a 2km long anomaly
- Mineralization at the Le Plaque trends occurs from surface for the main lense and all trends are open along strike and at depth
- A maiden inferred resource estimate, for some of the targets identified in the Le Plaque area, is expected in Q4-2017
- In addition to Le Plaque, exploration activities are on-going at several other targets in proximity to the current Ity mining complex

Magufuli said the investigation report revealed that Acacia Mining declared the presence of gold, copper and silver in its mineral sand exports but did not declare other precious metals in the consignments.

"The committee (investigating the exports) found that there were many other minerals in those shipping containers that were not declared, such as sulphur, iron, iridium, titanium and zinc," Magufuli said.
"They were also under-invoicing the actual gold, copper and silver content in those shipping containers."

The report said that Acacia declared about 1.1 tonnes of gold in the containers but an analysis established that the shipment contained up to 15 tonnes.

Shortquote bei GSV ...

Im stockhouse erwähnt man eine hohe shortquote bei GSV, ich habe daraufhin mal selber etwas gesucht.
Hier zwei Quellen für die US-Börsen (GSV wird an der AMEX gehandelt):

Stellt sich natürlich die Frage, wie aktuell die Zahlen sind.
Viele Minenaktien zeigen ja in den letzten Wochen einen ähnlich aussehenden geprügelten Kursverlauf,
auch eine Teranga bekam es gestern voll drüber.

Die Leerverkäufer dürften bestimmt auch die aktuelle VanEck-Geschichte in ihrem Vorteil nutzen.

Eigentlich begann der stetige Kursrückgang am Tag nach der Meldung vom 23. März, als GSV seine "Ländereien" stark vergrößerte. Die Übernahme von Battle Mountain Gold wurde erst in der zweiten Aprilwoche verkündet.
Und dann ist da noch die VanEck-Geschichte, mittlerweile ist GSV im GDXJ nur noch mit ~0,8% vertreten.

9.16 metres grading 3.27 g/t gold, including 2.86 metres grading 7.40 g/t gold, from down-plunge expansion drilling of the Upper Bug Zone and 12.91 metres grading 2.84 g/t gold, including 4.89 metres grading 5.67 g/t gold from the emerging Mid-Level Lower Bug Zone.

Hole MDE-17-263 intersected multiple intervals of high-grade gold mineralization.
Included in these was an intercept of 10.13 metres grading 0.73 g/t gold, including 0.73 metres grading 6.61 g/t gold located along the southern margin of the West Zone gabbro, in the footwall to the Bug North deposit.
