TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - RNC Minerals (TSX: RNX) ("RNC"), is pleased to announce a new high-grade gold discovery at its Beta Hunt Mine. Over the past week, approximately 9,250 ounces of high grade gold was produced from a 44 m3 cut (130 tonnes) on 15 level at the Beta Hunt Mine (equal to over 70 ounces/tonne or 2,200 grams/tonne).
The high grade gold (coarse gold and large gold-containing specimen stones) includes approximately 190 kg of specimen stone, the largest of which is 95 kg with an estimated gold content of 2,440 ounces and a second large specimen stone of 63kg with an estimated gold content of 1,620 ounces. Final ounces will be determined once the coarse gold is processed and/or sold over the next week which is expected to yield approximately $C15 million in cash. All of the high grade coarse gold is hand picked, direct ship ore and immediately sent from site directly to the Perth Mint.

FRANKFURT/HAIKOU (dpa-AFX) - Der klamme chinesische Deutsche-Bank-Großaktionär HNA steht womöglich vor dem Komplettausstieg bei dem Geldhaus. Der Mischkonzern mit Sitz im chinesischen Haikou plane, seine restliche Beteiligung komplett zu verkaufen, wie die Nachrichtenagentur Bloomberg am Freitag unter Berufung auf mit der Sache vertraute Personen schrieb.
Der Grund sei der Druck der chinesischen Regierung, HNA solle sich auf das Flugliniengeschäft konzentrieren. Wann und wie der Ausstieg bei der Deutschen Bank erfolgen solle, sei aber noch unklar, hieß es weiter.
Bereits im April hatte HNA die Beteiligung an Deutschlands größtem Geldhaus auf weniger als 8 Prozent reduziert. Zuletzt waren es laut aktueller Angaben der Deutschen Bank noch rund 7,6 Prozent gewesen. HNA war Anfang vergangenen Jahres zum Hauptaktionär der Deutschen Bank aufgestiegen, vor dem Vermögensverwalter Blackrock und dem Emirat Katar. Die Chinesen hatten in den vergangenen Jahren massiv Firmen und Immobilien zugekauft. Der dabei angehäufte Schuldenberg entpuppt sich nun als immer größeres Problem. Der Konzern arbeitet derzeit daran, die Geldnöte über milliardenschwere Immobilien- und Anteilsverkäufe zu lindern./mis/fba

- Pike River: Shallow high-grade intersection of 35.04 g/t gold over 3.30 m core length (CL) along the same 7 km long structural belt that hosts the Froome deposit and Gibson mineralization.
- Grey Fox: Multiple shallow intersections including 13.41 g/t gold over 2.82 m including 27.70 g/t gold over 0.94 m, and 5.79 g/t gold over 1.99 m including 9.71 g/t gold over 0.93 m from a mineralized cross-structure located in the hanging wall of the 147 Zone, which has a current Indicated resource of 264,000 gold ounces at a grade of 7.49 g/t.
- Black Fox Mine: 35.08 g/t gold over 1.69 m intersected on the depth extension of the mine. An underground exploration drift is under development and additional drilling will begin in mid-September.

McEwen Mining Reports Initial Resource and High Grade Drill Intersections at Stock Property- The initial Stock East Deposit Inferred resource estimate is 114,000 gold ounces at a grade of 2.54 g/t (combined open pit and underground), which is part of a 2 km long mineralized trend that also hosts the past-producing underground Stock Mine (historical production of 137,000 gold ounces at a grade 5.5 g/t, and no current resource estimate).
- Stock East drilling intersected 25.16 g/t gold over 2.09 m.
- Stock Mine drilling intersected 22.15 g/t gold over 1.39 m and 7.01 g/t gold over 2.98 m on the depth extension of the mine.

It now takes 1,762 oz. of silver to buy 1 unit of Dow. Back in the early 1980’s that ratio fell to as low
as 18- 1, and even as recently as 2011 it was as low as 221-1. It also takes 21.5 oz. of gold to buy the same Dow unit. Back in the early 1980’s that ratio hit 1-1, and in 2011 stood at 5.6-1. Such gross distortions rarely exist for very long.The severity of the gold and silver suppression over the past 7 years cannot be emphasized enough.
By all rights a monster rally would be the only logical outcome from such egregious manipulation.
Logic, however, hasn’t been in great supply lately. The power of cartel ways has been severely underestimated by me, and many others.
The one thing nearly everybody can agree on is we are at price levels ranging from merely undervalued,
to a once in a century opportunity.
