Empress Closes and Funds Manica Gold Project Royalty

Empress Royalty Corp. (TSXV:EMPR)(OTCQB:EMPYF) ("Empress" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has closed and funded the previously reported 2.25% royalty (the "Royalty") on production from the Manica hard rock gold project in Mozambique ("Manica" or the "Project") operated by Mutapa Mining & Processing LDA ("MMP").

THE INVESTMENT & TRANSACTION
On February 22, 2021, Empress executed a Royalty Purchase Agreement for the creation of a royalty on gold sales from Manica for an aggregate consideration of US$2,000,000. Payments to Empress under the Royalty Agreement are based on 2.25% of the revenues generated from the sale of gold from the Project until a total of 95,000 oz of gold have been sold. Thereafter, the percentage shall reduce to 0.75% and shall continue into perpetuity. The Royalty is secured by a first ranking security interest in certain assets of MMP. On April 20, 2021, Empress fully closed and funded the US$2,000,000.

Visible Gold Intersected in Step-Out Drilling

Visible gold mineralization is described as coarse, 1mm to 3mm grains at the margins of a 30.0 cm wide quartz vein (see Photo 1). From this work it was determined that a previous Minnova wildcat hole testing a shallow airborne EM conductor may have been shut down short of the projected down dip extension of the PL North mineralized structures. The successful re-entry of M-21-048x affirms a predictable model for gold mineralization based on continued structural analysis of the deposit. Iterations of this model are being used for deposit development and regional scale exploration.

Politik und Medien bestreiten, dass es bei den aktuellen Einschränkungen der Freiheitsrechte Parallelen zur Nazizeit gibt. Aber wie glaubwürdig ist das, wenn ein Regierungsberater Impfverweigerer gleichzeitig als "Volksfeinde" bezeichnet und damit das Vokabular der Nazizeit aufnimmt?

Es verwundert, dass die „Qualitätsmedien“ nicht vor Empörung aufgeschrien haben, als gerade eine nicht unwichtige Person Andersdenkende als „Volksfeinde“ bezeichnet hat. Aber andererseits verwundert es ja auch wieder nicht, denn das hat ja einer der „Guten“ getan. Wehe, das wäre einem anderen passiert. Aber der Reihe nach.
Was geschehen ist
Rolf Schwartmann ist ein langjähriger Berater der Regierung. Der Jurist ist unter anderem seit März 2015 Mitglied der von Bundesinnenminister Seehofer geleiteten „Plattform Sicherheit, Schutz und Vertrauen für Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft“ und im Juli 2018 wurde Schwartmann vom Bundeskabinett in die Datenethikkommission der Bundesregierung berufen.
Schwartmann fühlte sich nun berufen, für Web.de einen Artikel mit der Überschrift „Soll man Privilegien in der Pandemie auf sozialen Netzwerken posten? Pro und Contra“ zu schreiben. Der Artikel ist eigentlich nur bestenfalls nur deshalb erwähnenswert, weil er einen anschaulichen Einblick gibt, wie abgehoben man in den Kreisen des Autors ist.
Das Hauptthema seines Artikels war die Frage, ob man in Zeiten der Pandemie in sozialen Netzwerken Bilder davon posten sollte, dass man es sich trotz Lockdown im eigenen Ferienhaus gut gehen lässt. Ich vermute, dass dieses Problem in Deutschland nicht allzu viele beschäftigt, die Menschen machen sich derzeit wohl eher Sorgen um ihre berufliche Zukunft, um ihre Kinder, die im Lockdown langsam aber sicher durchdrehen oder darum, ob ihre kleine Firma den Lockdown überlebt.
Im Kreise der Regierung hat man aber offensichtlich wichtigere Probleme, zum Beispiel das eigene Ferienhaus.
In seinem Artikel schrieb Schwartmann dann aber auch:
„Impfmuffel sind in der Pandemie Volksfeinde. Der Staat muss öffentlich zur Impfung aufrufen und jeder der sich impfen lässt, gleich ob er schon an der Reihe ist oder nicht, hilft der Gesundheit aller.“

Heißt das, auch die Royalty wird angefochten und ist unsicher? Ich dachte bisher, Royalties beziehen sich auf ein Konzessionsgebiet, unabhängig vom jeweiligen Betreiber.
Daher wollte ich wissen, ob es darüber Erkenntnisse gibt. Talisman hält sich dazu ja bedeckt; es wäre für mich zur Bewertung der Firma aber entscheidend.

Franco-Nevada has acquired 14.7% of Vale's outstanding Participating Debentures ("Royalty Debentures") from the Brazilian Development Bank ("BNDES") and the Government of Brazil for $538M. The Royalty Debentures provide holders with life of mine net sales royalties on Vale's Northern and Southeastern Iron Ore Systems and on certain copper and gold operations (together, the "Royalty"). This transaction provides royalty exposure to some of the world's largest and most profitable integrated iron ore mines with reserve weighted mine lives of 30 years and potential for multiple additional decades through reserve growth. The Royalty covers a total of 15.6 thousand square kilometers of mineral properties held by Vale in Brazil, also offering exposure to a number of development properties. The Royalty currently generates an annualized pre-tax cash yield of 10% based on acquisition cost and the most recent semi-annual Royalty Debenture payment. The amount of production capacity subject to the Royalty is expected to grow by approximately +60% by 2026 which would imply an 8% yield on investment at that time, assuming consensus long term iron ore prices.
