    The feedback I received today from Café members was unusual in that most of it made mention that something must REALLY be wrong out there in US financial land for The Gold Cartel to go to such great lengths to take gold down so sharply. As you know, this has been a theme of mine for many weeks (months actually), and developments over this period of time give greater credence this is the case.


    Hardly a day has gone by this year that the financial news has not been lousy and, as an aggregate, deteriorating. Certainly inflation is one of the leaders of the pack in this regard, which should have gold flying, which, of course, is why The Gold Cartel has sent gold packing.


    This complete disconnect between the gold price action and everything else has completely discredited those who have pooh-poohed what GATA has been telling everyone who would listen for nearly a decade. Anyone who does not get it by now that the key to the gold price is how well the physical market can hold up against what The Gold Cartel throws out is totally clueless about the real gold deal.


    The name of the game these days, all over the world, is INFLATION (which is very gold friendly), and yet the Fed and US is powerless to fight it because the entire US financial system could implode at any time. IT IS THAT FRAGILE. "M" hits the nail on the head re today’s market travesty…


    Hi Bill,
    All the inflation stories out of Europe have been horrible. UK CPI came out at 3%y/y versus an expectation of 2.6% while the broader RPI came out at 4.2%. ECB's Noyer warned of inflationary pressures and US import prices rose 1.8%m/m versus an expectation of 1.6% and Gold is down $20!!!!

    Based on the way gold is trading, you would think we are going into a major deflation. The problem with that line of analysis is the other financial markets and commodities are trading in opposite fashion…

    Gold prices are down today and we believe that the wise buy the dips. ;)


    There are many cross currents in oil and we can’t be sure what will happen in the short term to prices, but high oil prices and inflationary influences throughout the world argue strongly for a much higher gold price.


    Apparently the Iranian government is looking at potential changes to crude oil production, possibly starting next month. The reasons given to change, up or down, are not clear from this article, but the market is clearly jumping on this as another reason to stay bullish with crude now knocking on the door of $127 per barrel. Seems somewhat premature.


    The article also touches upon how the Iranians have been stockpiling crude in tankers offshore, which strikes me as somewhat illogical in a "tight" oil market.

    Silber auf 15.40 $ eher 16 $


    USD/Euro 1.51


    USD/CHF 1.08


    Oil 104 USD


    HUI 380


    Sollte es in die Richtung gehen was ich bezweifel bis es dort ist heisst das kraeftig nachkaufen.


    Die Tiefs/Zyklen koennten zeitgemaess so eintreffen wie Btrend es geschrieben hat.


    Wie die Pessimisten von Analysten und Guru wie Mahendra auf 700 $ kommen und 60 $ Oil ist mir unverstaendlich.


    Da muesste der USD/Euro bei 1.30 sein und weniger, glaubt ihr das ???

    South AfricaDad forced to watch HIV+ rape

    Bushbuckridge - An elderly man says he was beaten and forced to watch as an HIV-positive man raped his daughter for about four hours.
    The 78-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect his daughter's identity, said the suspect was released on warning and then returned to rob him. :wall:


    "That evil man came back for me because I reported him to the police. He took my cellphone and disappeared with it," he said.


    He said the suspect had arrived at his house in Allandale in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, last Tuesday afternoon waving around his HIV test results and accused the old man's daughter of infecting him.


    "He showed us the papers and told us that my daughter was his lover and that she had given him Aids.


    He demanded that we produce her immediately as he wanted to have a word with her," said the elderly man.

    He said the family told the man that the woman was visiting relatives at MP Stream village, 18km away. The man left and later returned with the woman and asked for a room where they could sleep because they were tired.


    The elderly man said the suspect followed him to his house where he allegedly locked him and his daughter in his room, apparently without other family members noticing.


    "He dragged me across my bedroom and ordered me to watch as he stripped himself and my daughter naked and started to rape her. When I looked away, he punched me and smashed my radio cassette player," said the elderly man.


    He said the man had repeatedly raped his daughter and then left at 01:45.


    The elderly man reported the rape to police in the morning and the suspect was arrested on charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, kidnapping and malicious damage to property.


    The elderly man said police refused to let him open a rape case because they believed the suspect when he said he was having a relationship with the daughter. :wall: :D


    Appeared on four charges


    The elderly man said the suspect was released on warning and returned to his house on Wednesday evening and stole his cellphone.


    He said he opened another case of robbery with the police.


    The suspect appeared in Mhala Magistrate's Court for all four charges on Tuesday and the case was postponed for further police investigation. :thumbup:


    Inspector Ralph Mhangana of Mhala police said he would investigate why a rape case was not registered. :D

    Cape Town - Efforts to determine why crime in South Africa is often accompanied by excessive violence will soon bear fruit, Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula said on Tuesday. :D


    The justice, crime prevention and security (JCPS) cluster of ministers will present a progress report to Cabinet at the July Lekgotla on the work of the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) in this regard, he told a media briefing at parliament.


    The CSVR was assigned the responsibility at the beginning of last year and the final report would be submitted to government at the end of this year, he said.


    "An interim report is due this month which will cover some case studies from interviews done with inmates who are serving sentences relating to violence and violence involving young people.


    "The next interim report, which will be submitted in due course, will deal with violence and sexual abuse against women."


    The final report, therefore, would be discussed by Cabinet at the January Lekgotla next year.


    Nqakula said work by the JCPS continued to reduce the levels of contact crimes like murder, rape, indecent and serious and violent assault.


    The statistics published in December last year on the first six months of the 2007/08 financial year (April 1 to September 30, 2007) indicated a steady decline in contact crimes, he said. :tired: :D

    Die SWG, da warte ich auf eine Erholung, die steht um die 50 cents seit Monaten, da muessen ein paar good news her.
    Der Kurs der IMA ist eigentlich Cash in der Bank, bei SWG ist es glaube ich das selbe.
    Manchmal lohnts sich am Schrottplatz risikobereit zu kaufen, bei KRY hats wieder geklappt.
    Mut zum Risiko, hat sich gelohnt, der dritte und letzte geile Salsa mit Christina.

    Sobald sich der USD "einige Zeit" ueber der 75 Marke aufhaelt muss man das ausnutzen, der kommt so oder so nicht aus der Intensivstation mehr raus langfristig betrachtet.
    Kann sein das Trichet den Lakeien der Amis wieder spielt und macht trotzdem die Zinssenkung trotz der Umstaende die du erwaehnt hast.
    Sind eh alles Arschkriecher, wundern wuerde mich das nicht wenn Mr. Tricky nachgibt damit der Patient USD wieder grinst.

    Hoffen wir mal nicht es geht so tief, bis 1.50 $/USD laut dem Artikel den du beim USDX thread reingelegt hast koennte es auch gehen was dann diese Spots ergeben koennte.
    Erstmal muss der USD die 75 USDX knacken, dann glaube ich eher an die "worst case"prediction vom Schwensen.
    Erst mal abwarten und Tee trinken und auf alles gefasst sein...z.B ein kleiner Nachkauf. :D
    Solche Prognosen halten einen nur vom kaufen ab, die haben dann auch eine Wirkung auf die Anleger. :D
    Wenn mir alle glauben Gold koennte bald auf 700 $ fallen kauft jetzt kein Schwein und dann ruehrt sich auch nix.

    Der Vollmond kommt in sieben Tagen , ist doch alles normal, so kurz nach dem 20.Mai lade ich weiter auf sobald ich wieder fluessig bin, fuer mich zaehlt der Schnitt.

    Fazit, die Beklagten werden das spaeter in ihre Preise einbauen,du zahlst dann mehr fuer Coca-Cola und die armen Schwarzen fahren den dicken Mercedes oder BMW X5 und saufen Blue Label. :thumbup:..
