Wie die den Arbeitsmarkt in USA messen wundert mich wenn 2 millionen pro Woche den Arbeitsplatz wechseln oder gekuendigt werden.
Die geben uns wieder eine Mickey Mouse Nummer damit die Sylvester Party auf Fallstreet nicht depressive wird.
IMO haben die 10% die auf der Strasse sitzen, fahrt mal hin und schaut Euch um.
Da gibt es genug Amis die auf der Strasse betteln und merken nichts von dem Wunder der Arbeitsplatzschaffung.
Bullshit diese Zahlen, von Rezession keine Spur...

Davon sind wir noch weiiiiit weg bei den Edelmetallen oder PM Aktien.
10% sind drin....Frau Meier oder Herr Huber wissen gar nichts ueber Gold und PM Aktien.
Von einer Blase keine Spur im Edelmetallbereich, hoffentlich wird es eine .com boom oder Neuer Markt Hype....dann bin ich wieder raus.
Spaetesten wenn mein Friseur mich ueberzeugen will das man Gold und PM Aktien nun kaufen muss..

The Economy's Last Hurrah Before That Big Sucking Sound
The US economy is continuing to weaken in many areas: The US Treasury has received lower income tax receipts forcing state and local governments to cut back because they're coming up short; capital gains on home sales are falling as home prices fall; property tax receipts are also declining as assessed values go down; weak retail sales mean lower sales tax receipts; corporate profits are down, along with corporate taxes paid; and, many self-employed workers may be employed, but they're not making anything or only half of what they used to.
Moreover, America is not the only country with an economic problem. The housing bubble is turning out to be worldwide, with a major impact on England and much of Europe. The biggest economic losers include the emerging markets, especially China. Don't believe for one second those Wall Street touts selling the notion that the emerging markets have "decoupled" from the US economy and their growth will lead the world forward without the American consumer. That's hogwash. Where do you think their trade surpluses and big sales gains (driving investment in plants and equipment) came from anyway? From the American consumer and MEW! Take $800 billion of easy spending away from the American consumer and you're going to see a lot of blow back in lost sales by the emerging market countries, including China.
As the recession takes hold, I see this holiday shopping hype as the Economy's Last Hurrah, but it's not just the American economy that's going to hear that "big sucking sound" in the New Year!

Ich hoffe er hat falsch auf seine Planeten geschaut was den USD angeht.
Durchaus moeglich das Europa die Schuldenlast bekommt und das Zsenario mit Europa so eintritt wie er sagt.
Ihr habt den Krieg verloren also kriegt ihr auch die US Schulden..
Am besten sucht man den Schutz bei physisch Gold und Silber dann koennen die machen was sie wollen.Btw, die KRE.V und LRR.TO muessten auch bald wieder aufwachen.

Winterpause bei Wolferin, bei dem Kurs brauchen sie auch kein PP machen das meistens unter dem Kurs liegt.....
Also sollen die mal in den Winterschlaf, bei Galore (NG) ist auch Funkstille until further notice.
Ob Yukon Zinc aus dem Sink kommt wird sich zeigen, diese Aktie ist Spekulative und Risky eher was fuer Zocker die mehr Risiko auf sich nehmen.
Wenn das Projekt ins laufen kommt dann steigt auch wieder der Kurs IMO...hier heisst es warten, besonders wenn man im Keller ist.Ps.... ich wollte eigentlich eine Pause machen bei 9000 Beitraege da obendrauf viele Gruenschnabel hier im Forum auftgetaucht sind und teilweise die treads nun vom Ziel und Naehrwert abweichen bei den postings. Obendrauf einige nicht mal einen Euro auf dem Spieltisch haben und mit einer Unze Silber hier aufs Blech hauen.
Mir ist es Leid noch was zu sagen oder den Schiedsrichter zu spielen. Ich lese jetzt mehr und lach mir einen Ast was der Gruenschnabel schreibt und denkt zur Abwechslung. Ich war wieder an Board bei diesen Tsunami und habe fuer Optimismus und Aufheiterung mehr als genug gesorgt.Gruss & good luck

Liam Joint Venture
Numa West
Newmont Peru Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Newmont Mining
Limited) ("Newmont") has recently completed the first phase drill
program at the Numa West silver project, located in the northeastern
part of the 365,000 hectare Liam Joint Venture area in southern Peru.
Eighteen holes have been completed and were focused on mainly
silver-lead-zinc mineralization as well as peripheral copper-gold skarn
targets. The Company will report on the results once assays have been
received.Huacullo
Newmont has commenced drilling at Huacullo. Huacullo is located 18
kilometres northwest of the Joint Venture's Crespo and Quescha
high-sulphidation gold-silver systems, and consists of multiple
epithermal veins over at least 800 metres of strike length. Previous
drilling conducted by the Joint Venture in 2006 returned a drill
intersection of 1.05 metres grading 22.4 grams per tonne gold from hole
HUA-008. Newmont is planning to drill five holes in this second drill
phase.Aluja
The Aluja Project, located 30 kilometres northwest of the Crespo and
Quescha projects, consists of a 2.0 kilometre by 1.5 kilometre area of
acid-sulphate alteration, which includes massive, granular and
chalcedonic silica in volcanic tuffs and flows, and various types of
breccias.Geological mapping, sampling and geophysical IP surveying have been
completed on the property, which have defined a number of potential
drill targets. Newmont has commenced a nine hole program to test these
targets.Pacobamba
The Pacobamba project is located in the northwest part of the Liam
Joint Venture area. The project has two main drill targets - a
copper-gold skarn target and an area of variably exposed, altered and
gold-mineralized hydrothermal breccias. Geological mapping and
geophysical IP surveying were completed and Southwestern has commenced
a nine- to twelve-hole first phase drilling program.Copper Projects
The Company has been compiling data for its key copper projects -
Antay, Alpacocha and Cristo de la Andes, which are all located in
southern Peru. The compilation is based on recent geological mapping,
rock-chip and soil geochemical sampling, as well as IP geophysical
surveying, and has highlighted a number of important drill targets. The
Company is investigating a number of possibilities for advancing these
projects and expects to conduct a significant drilling program in 2008.Other Projects
The Company is reviewing and individually assessing each of its other
Peruvian projects to determine whether shareholder value would be
maximized through unilateral development by the Company or through

Boka Project
The Company has been compiling the results of past exploration
throughout the Boka property, which covers approximately 160 square
kilometres. In conjunction with the recommendations in the recent

outlining exploration programs that would help further define the

Crime: Mbeki proven wrong

Opposition parties have lamented the increases in crime detailed in the latest statistics for April to September, released on Thursday.
It was deplorable and made a mockery of Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula's assurances to business leaders, locally and overseas, that the crime rate was under control :D, DA spokesperson Diane Kohler-Barnard said.House robbery - house break-ins that included violence - increased by seven percent, truck hijacking by 53.3%, and business robbery by 29.3%.
The police claim that incidents such as murder - which was down by 6.6% - rape, attempted murder and assault with intent to commit grievous bodily harm had decreased over the past six months.
"This may be the case, but it is important never to lose sight of the fact that a high number of cases are never reported to the police," Kohler-Barnard said.
By focusing exclusively on dropping or rising crime statistics over fixed periods of time, the SA Police Service failed to address the very real issue that a significant portion of the population did not even report crimes.
"Indeed, according to the AC Nielsen crime survey, 32% of crime victims interviewed failed to report the crime to the police, with 61% of those victims stating 'police inefficiency' as the reason."
Mbeki 'proven wrong'
The last Victims of Crime Survey stated that the reporting rate of crime was less than half of all crimes committed, Kohler-Barnard said.
Freedom Front Plus spokesperson Pieter Groenewald agreed, saying the statistics proved the public was not safe because of crime.
Last year there was an increase of 25.4% in house robberies and it now appeared to be still increasing.
President Thabo Mbeki's view that people were complaining unnecessarily about crime and it was merely a perception created by the media, had now been proven to be wrong.
"People are supposed to feel safe in their own homes, but the statistics indicate that it is increasingly unsafe in one's own home."
The public was therefore justified in complaining that crime was getting out of control and that South Africa was unsafe to live in, Groenewald said
