Die wollen mit dem gehopse um die 540 eine zweite Sell- Lawine ausloesen und den HUI in den gefaehrlichen Bereich auf die 290 Marke bringen.
Wenn er sich aber ueber 300 haelt dann kommt Hoffnung auf das die Hasefuesse weg sind und die schlauen anfangen zu kaufen.

Gerade dieser Seiltanz bewegt mich zu kaufen, bzw. habe es schon hinter mir gebracht.
Diesen Bluff gehe ich ein, selbst wenn ich mich verkalkuliert habe ich weiss es dauert nicht lange bis ich wieder ueber mich selber lache was am besten ist.
Die Spannung haelt an,wie bei Phsyco wann weiss nie ob noch der Moerder mit dem Messer beim Duschen zusticht.

Energy prices

Asked about what can be done to lower energy prices, Bernanke said there isn't much. He said global energy demands are close to maximum available supplies, and that further energy price spikes are likely due to future supply disruptions.

But he said that current energy prices are encouraging the development of new sources of energy as well as conservation that could contain prices in the long-term.

"Longer term, I'm actually fairly optimistic about 10, 15 or 20 years down the road," he said.

"But in the next 5 to 10 years we're in a zone of vulnerability with a relatively low margin of error in terms of energy supply."

Gold is off over the past few days not on dollar strength, which is paltry at best, but rather on the weakness of energy. Energy has become a game of weather forecasting and inventories while a Barron’s article on Iran has eased fears of Iran playing its oil card.

The danger in the energy market is more the Spratly Island situation which this piece focuses on. The assumption that Iran will not use its oil card and will negotiate rather than take a nuclear stand is a failure to be pandetermined. Pandetermination is the process by which an American can see and analyze a situation such as this through the eyes of the protagonist - in this case an Iranian.

When did any theocracy in the Middle East or elsewhere concern themselves with anything but the ambitions of that theocracy as it interprets the tenets of its beliefs? It makes no difference if the populace has to suffer as that suffering is a road to salvation. Isn’t martyrdom a ticket to heaven? (And let's not forget those 70 virgins).

The thesis that Iran has more to lose by playing its oil card than any other party will in no way prevent it from playing that card. The renewed talks with Russia on producing nuclear materials for peaceful purposes is just another delaying tactic as Iran marches forward to weapons grade nuclear independence.

Es ist nur mehr eine Frage von ein paar Tagen dann sollten die alle Rohstoffe und Metalle nach oben abdrehen. Ein guenstiger Zeitraum fuer Oil/Energy Aktien.IMO
Ich bin leider um eine Woche zu frueh rein und bin ueberzeugt der feste Boden liegt bei 57 USD wie bei POG um die 540 USD.
Danach Richtung 100 USD, die Preise die jetzt sind laecherlich im Vergleich zu der allgemeinen Situation in der Welt.
Heute kommen noch ein paar CNQ.TO oben drauf als weiteres Kissen.
Hopp oder Tropp heisst die Devise weil auch der Guru Mahendra davor warnt nicht zu kaufen. Hat er nun Recht ?.... wir sehen es in wenigen Tagen.
Mir ist das nun egal und lade den Wagen voll mit Aktien so weit ich es mit meinen Cash kann.

Metals have fallen quite fast especially Platinum, Palladium, Silver and Gold as well as metals stocks. Tuesday and Thursday are very important days for metals and they should remain positive on both days. Negativity on either days does not augur well for metals, and the wave of nature theory will present a frightening outlook for the coming time in regard to all metals. I shall issue an alert on Friday.

HOT POINT WITH JACKPOT - Copper could fall from tomorrow.

WATCH - The Dollar index is doing well and will continue to do well.

Grains are trading sideway but are looking for a major great turn-around.

And speaking of gold, the Times of London newspaper reports "Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said that the high price of gold is due to investor concern about major geopolitical conflict."

Greenspan was speaking "to an audience of international investors in Tokyo via video link from his apartment in New York," which is good, because I expected those unnamed investors to laugh in utter contempt at that statement, because they knew that the price of gold went up mostly because Greenspan had devalued the dollar so damned much! Geopolitical tensions are just icing on the cake.

He followed that up with another thigh-slapper when he reportedly said "Cheap oil prices were a thing of the past due to a lack of oil refining capacity." Hahaha! In one sweeping simplistic statement, he says that Peak Oil is a fiction, increased global demand is a mirage, the purchasing power of the dollar will increase, and government taxation of petroleum products will not increase! Paying a high price for gasoline is purely due to problems of refining capacity! Hahahaha! Tears of laughter are running down my face!

"Greenspan," they go on to note, "said high gold prices did not reflect inflation or the strength in commodities." Hahahaha! I wish I had been there to see that! For the first time in history, gold is NOT responding to inflation in commodities? Hahaha! And the United States had this moron as the chairman of its central bank for 18 years? No wonder we are so freaking doomed!
