    Ein schwarzen Moerder geht mit 500 Rand Kaution frei und haut ab.
    Wir Weissen bezahlen nun 300 Rand (30 Euro) fuer Falschparken im unbegrenzten Halteverbot und 600 Rand fuer die rote Linie.
    Ein Schwarzer zahlt eh nicht, erst recht nicht wenn der BMW im Township registriert ist.


    Solange die Kuh noch Milch gibt darf sie bleiben.

    Some want to leave the country. Others say South Africa would at long last have a leader who cares for the poor.


    These were some of the responses of Johannesburg residents approached on Wednesday about Jacob Zuma's election as new African National Congress president.


    Mandy John, 25, from Braamfontein said she did not want to live in the country any longer.


    "I am going to leave. How can a man who has no morals become a president of the ANC? What type of a role model will he be for youngsters?"


    John Lempe, 31, asked for his reaction in Roserbank Mall, said: "Zuma is not like Mbeki who is for the elite. Zuma is for the poor."


    Anna Seleka, 61, of Parkview said she did not want Zuma to win.


    "The problem with him is that he could face serious charges. What will the international community say ... when he is elected president of the country in two years?"


    'What will he teach people?'


    Hilton Rogers, 24, had a more qualified response.


    "Zuma is inconsistent. Maybe if he becomes consistent, then something positive would come out of this whole thing," said Rogers.


    Sixteen-year-old Lana Kotoglou of Rosebank expressed concern over the impact of comments made by Zuma during his rape trial last year.


    "What will he teach people? That they can sleep with people who have HIV/Aids without protection and take a shower afterwards?" she asked.


    "Zuma should never have been elected president of the ANC, and I definitely would not like to see him as president of the country."


    Sandile Mntambo, 25, said he was solidly behind the new ANC president.


    'He can make a difference'


    "I'm relieved and happy because I wanted Zuma to win the elections," he said.


    "I believe he can make a difference in the country, especially with the issue of illegal migrants coming into country and causing chaos."


    Several residents showed no interest in Zuma's election.


    "Politicians are just getting richer while the people on the street suffer. I don't care who the next ANC president is," Raven Govender of Lenasia said.


    Zuma toppled Thabo Mbeki as ANC leader on Tuesday night, beating him with 2 329 votes against 1 505 at the party's elective conference in Polokwane, Limpopo.

    Meine Tochter ist nun 18 Jahre und im Januar fuer einen Monat in London. Mein Sohn ist im Mai 16 und beide sagen jetzt schon sie wollen raus aus RSA da sie jetzt schon spueren man ist zweiter Klasse als Weisser.
    Nur als Beispiel, ein weisser der 87 Punkte beim Abitur geschafft hat wird abgelehnt von der Uni und ein schwarzer mit 56 Punkten angenommen.
    Weisse Studenten die als Kellner arbeiten wollen nimmt man fast nicht mehr da man schwarze einstellen muss die alles vergessen nachdem man bestellt hat.

    Der ganzen Anti Apartheid Lobby koennte ich auf die Fresse hauen. X(


    Was solls, zu spaet, schade um das schoene Land.
    Gedanklich habe ich alle Assets hier bereits abgeschrieben.
    Vielleicht zuende ich die Bude und Fahrzeuge noch an damit sie nichts haben wenn wir einpacken und das Land verlassen.

    $48m jet 'not a luxury'

    Kampala - Uganda's government is to buy a $48.2m Gulfstream jet for President Yoweri Museveni, media reported on Wednesday, and critics questioned whether the poor east African country could afford it.


    A committee of lawmakers endorsed the proposal, moving it closer to parliamentary approval, the state-owned New Vision newspaper said.


    Officials were not immediately available for comment.


    "We believe this is not a luxury for the president. It is a national asset," :D parliamentary committee chairperson Mary Karooro was quoted in the New Vision as saying.


    Karooro said the new plane would require less fuel than Museveni's existing presidential jet, need fewer inspections and stopovers on long-haul flights and be cheaper to maintain.


    Critics denounced the purchase as greed in an impoverished nation where the average wage is $300 per year.


    "Why should a leader of a poor country fly a jet when leaders of some of the industrialised countries he begs from travel on commercial flights?" the Weekly Observer wrote in an editorial.


    Karooro said the government would either take out a loan from HSBC at 10% to buy the plane or borrow $28m from the central bank, the rest of the cost being covered by proceeds from the sale of his existing jet.


    Museveni's frequent use of his presidential jet has sparked controversy in the past.


    In 2003, he enraged critics by using it to fly his daughter to a hospital in Germany so she could give birth, at a cost of $30 000 to the taxpayer.

    ATM bombings 'very concerning' :rolleyes:

    Standard Bank expressed concern on Wednesday over the high number of ATM bombings in the last few weeks.



    In the last two weeks, two of the banks ATMs were bombed in Eldorado Park, one at a petrol station, one at a shopping centre, and another at a petrol station in Dube, Soweto.


    In the latest incident a Standard Bank ATM was bombed at a petrol station in Vereeniging in the early hours of Wednesday morning.


    It is believed three armed men forced petrol attendants to lay on the ground, while they attached an explosive device to the ATM, said police spokesperson Captain William Mcera.


    "When the device exploded, police nearby went to investigate, the men fled the scene and no money was taken. There were no reported injuries," said Mcera.


    Although there were reports of another two bombings, these could not be confirmed by police.


    Spokesperson for Standard Bank, Ross Linstrom, said the bank was "very concerned" about the recent spate of attacks and that "active measures" had been taken to curb the attacks.


    "We will be working with various role players in this regard," he said.


    Linstrom also cautioned all bank clients to be especially vigilant when banking during the festive season.


    "Especially when drawing money, customers need to be aware and cautious. Never accept help from someone when drawing money and be careful not to give out your online banking details," he said.

    Merkel used the summit to launch a stinging attack on Mugabe, who is seen by the West as a ruthless dictator who rigged his 2002 re-election and has led his once-prosperous country to economic ruin.


    She accused the Zimbabwean leader of trampling on human rights and "harming the image of the new Africa" in a speech that has sparked a war of words between Berlin and Harare.


    Several African leaders accused Merkel of being out of touch with the situation in Zimbabwe while that country's information minister, Sikhanyiso Ndlovu, branded her a racist and said she should "shut up". :D


    "Zimbabwe is not a colony of Germany. This is racism of the first order by the German head of state," he told Zimbabwe's Herald newspaper.


    The German foreign ministry on Tuesday summoned the charge d'affaires at the Zimbabwean embassy in Berlin to protest at Ndlovu's outburst. :D

    Bei mir war schon mal einer der was richten wollte.
    Siehst was rauskommt, die Neger schauen sich die amerikanischen Lehrfilme an und setzten das gleich in die Tat um.

    ANC vote does not add up :D

    Figures that do not add up and suspicious registration procedures have raised the notion amongst the losing side of the African National Congress (ANC) in Polokwane that the voting process was tampered with, Beeld reported on Thursday.


    The report said although conference delegates were told that only 3 900 people were entitled to vote some 3 983 turned up at the voting stations.


    The total amount of votes, including spoiled voting papers, was however consistently about 100 lower from the number of people who voted.


    The report said "various informed people" in the Thabo Mbeki camp were convinced that tampering took place by a (voting) company, which they accused of having links with new ANC president Jacob Zuma.


    The company has denied all "unreasonable links".


    Human error


    Meanwhile ANC spokesperson Steyn Speed, who could not explain the difference in numbers between registered voters and the number of votes brought out, said human error could happen from time to time and that the counting process would have been repeated if the margin was small.


    "In this case the difference was so big that we thought it was not necessary," he said.


    A party member was quoted in the report as saying: "It is not possible that we, in three weeks, convinced nobody to vote for Mbeki". :D


    Nevertheless, they were prepared to accept the results and would not "run to court".


    On Tuesday, Jacob Zuma was elected president of the ANC, by well over 800 votes.

    Jetzt kommt der Viehhirte Zuma und eventuell der zweite Robert Mugabe bald an die Macht.
    Mbeki hat laut Geruechten bereits milliarden von Rand in die Schweiz geschafft und hat seine Rente bereits gesichert, dem ist es nun egal wie es weiter geht in Lugano laesst es sich auch gut leben. :]

    Für mich ist das unverständlicher wie die Goldpreisentwicklung. Egal ob das Land schön ist oder nicht.

    So schnell und einfach kann ich nicht nach fast 23 Jahren einpacken.
    Ich hatte noch vor einigen Monaten die Idee wieder nach D oder A zu uebersiedeln aber die Stimmung, Wetter und Situation dort ist auch nicht die Loesung da auch ihr die Schnauze voll habt bei euren System.
    Sidha kam von Bali wieder nach D und wie gefaellt es ihm nun ?
    Ich finde schon ein Land, in der Zukunft habe ich so oder so zwei Dominiziele und bewege mich sobald meine Kinder selbststaendiger sind und ihre eigene Wohnung haben. Was ich hier im Forum ueber D lese reicht, meine Schwester und Neffe in Muenchen haben die Nase auch voll und wollen irgendwo hin.
    Ich kenne Mallorca nicht, z.B. Argentinien, Vancouver, Sydney kommen in Frage und Phuket fuer 4 monate im Jahr ist in Erwaegung gezogen.
    Irgendwo hin wo ich wenig Neger sehe...ich habe nun genug von dem Affentheater und brauche kein zweites auch keinen Muslim Staat und eine Moschee in der Naehe und eine Neidgesellschaft die frustriert ist. Ihr werdet das selbe multi-rassen chaos miterleben bei den offenen Grenzen.Ich will das nicht noch einmal miterleben.


    Erstmal den POG auf 1000 $ und dann geht es noch leichter die Kurve zu kratzen bevor es brenzlig wird. Ich miete erstmals bis ich mich wohl fuehle, egal wo. Ausserdem wenn ich gehe wer fuehrt hier den thread weiter ?? :D

    Afrika ist ein schönes Land und soo schlimm werden die Schwarzen auch nicht sein....... :D :D
    aber ich denke, egal wo du dich rumtreibst, ein Netz gibts überall.
    Ja Kinder, kenne ich, mann will die Ausbildung durchziehen und in dieser Zeit keinen Trubel erzeugen.
    Wenn Sidha nicht mehr in Bali ist, so kann das natürlich viele Gründe haben - schau mal in den Angebotsthread.
    Deutschand ist immer sehr extrem, deswegen denke ich, dass wir in den meisten Ländern besser - das die pers. Freiheit anbelangt - leben können.
    Wäre bei mir englisch kein Problen - ich wäre in Canada
