Till Sampling Identifies Numerous Gold Targets at Malachite
Matador Mining Limited (ASX: MZZ; OTCQX: MZZMF; FSE: MA3) (“Matador” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce initial results from an extensive till sampling program completed in late 2021 near the Cape Ray Gold Project (the “Project”) in Newfoundland, Canada.
Highlights:
• Nine high-tenor gold grain anomalies were identified in till sampling across the 15 x 4 kilometreMalachite structural target area, with three of these anomalies open at the edge of the survey area and results still pending for 35% of the sampling program
• Up to 716 gold grains have been recovered in one of the till samples collected on prominent magnetic structures up to three kilometres north of the Cape Ray Shear Zone (“CRSZ”)
• The 716-grain sample contained 607 pristine gold grains, indicating the source of gold is likely within100 metres from the sample location
• The highest tenor gold grain anomalies are comparable with the best gold grain counts reported in Newfoundland, and coincide with favourable structural targets associated with the multi-million-ounce CRSZ identified from the detailed 2021 magnetics survey
• The Malachite area has never been drill tested, with historic surface sampling limited to a narrow corridor along the main CRSZ, identifying multi-kilometre-long gold-silver-arsenic-antimony anomalies that were never followed up

Matador Intersects High Grade Gold Mineralisation at Central Zone, Cape Ray Gold Project
Matador Mining Limited (ASX: MZZ; OTCQX: MZZMF; FSE: MA3) (“Matador” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the first assay results from the winter 2022 diamond drilling program at the Central Zone in theCape Ray Gold Project (the “Project”) Newfoundland, Canada.
Highlights:
• Matador has received the first assays from the inaugural winter drill program, conducted between February 2022 and April 2022.
• CRD352:
- 6 metres at 13.3 g/t Au from 214m (incl. 1 metre at 45.8 g/t Au from 217 metres and
1 metre at 11.7 g/t Au from 219 metres); and- 6 metres at 7.1 g/t Au from 228m (incl. 1 metre at 22.4 g/t Au from 229 metres)
• CRD351:
- 5 metres at 5.4 g/t Au from 53 metres (incl. 2.9 metres at 8.9 g/t Au from 53 metres); and
- 2 metres at 11.1 g/t Au from 64m (incl. 1 metre at 13.6 g/t Au from 64 metres)
• Results are still pending for 29 exploration diamond holes at the Window Glass Hill Granite, PW Eastand Stag Hill targets; four Central Zone geotechnical drill holes; remainder of the Stag Hill Power Auger sampling program1 and 96 gold grain samples from the Malachite greenfield reconnaissance program2.
Matador’s Chief Geologist Warren Potma commented:
“We are very pleased with the initial set of drill results from the first winter diamond campaign completed by Matador. Drilling at Central Zone has returned positive results from drill hole CRD352 with two separate zones of high-grade mineralisation recorded in an 80 metre gap in the previous Mineral Resource drilling. It appears some of the historic drilling in this area may have reported anomalously low grades relating to variable core recovery associated with the highly sheared host rocks. These new results indicate potential for higher grades and increased widths compared to the current Mineral Resource estimate. The Central Zone drill results have increased our understanding of the structural controls of gold mineralisation at Cape Ray, which is particularly important as we step out to explore new Greenfields targets such as Malachite.”

Matador Announces Assays from Malachite Prospecting and Sampling Program

Highlights
- Sampling has identified first known bedrock samples at Malachite with significant gold mineralisation
- Rock chip assays received from Malachite include high-grade samples:
- 15,300 ppb Au (15.3 g/t), 74.4 g/t Ag and >1% Cu from a boulder nearly five kilometres southwest of the MAL03 target (near Grandy’s target area)
- 7,470 ppb Au (7.5 g/t) from a quartz vein float sample five kilometres west-southwest of MAL03
- 4,890 ppb Au (4.9 g/t) from a boulder nearly four kilometres southwest from the MAL03 target
- 3,800 ppb Au (3.8 g/t) and 1,830 ppb Au (1.8 g/t) and 1,490 ppb Au (1.4 g/t) from three separate in-situ rock chips from large outcropping quartz vein array at the MAL03 target
- Assays from the Malachite rock chip program confirm and extend large multi-element pathfinder anomalies with peak values of 74,400 ppm Ag (74.4 g/t Ag), 8,508 ppm As, >10,000 ppm Cu (>1% Cu), 2,077 ppm Pb, 53.7 ppm Bi, 37.2 ppm Sb and 101 ppm Mo

Highlights
- Completed first ever diamond drilling at Malachite with eleven drill holes for 1,740 metres of diamond drilling.
- Anomalous gold mineralisation identified in four out of eleven holes, with intercepts including:
- 1.72 g/t Au over one metre from 34 metres (CRD361)
- 1.21 g/t Au over one metre from 74 metres (CRD357)
- 0.73 g/t Au over one metre from 80 metres (CRD360)
- 0.50 g/t Au over one metre from 112 metres (CRD358)
- All four reconnaissance drill holes at MAL02 intersected anomalous gold in bedrock.
- Identified the first known occurrence of gold in basement in the CRSZ hanging wall rocks south of the CRSZ

Matador Identifies New Greenfield Target Area at Long Range in Newfoundland
Matador Mining Limited (ASX:MZZ / OTCQX:MZZMF / FSE:MA3) (“Matador” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the discovery of anomalous gold mineralisation through the 2022 prospecting program at the Long Range(formerly Grand Bay) target area along the Cape Ray Shear Zone (“CRSZ”) in Newfoundland, Canada.
Highlights
- Prospecting at Long Range yielded a peak gold value of 0.77 g/t Au (MR001131 – float) along with anomalous pathfinder elements including silver, bismuth, copper, lead, tellurium, etc.
- Gold mineralisation discovered was located eight kilometres away from multigram historical samples, extending the strike extent of anomalous gold mineralisation at Long Range to 11 kilometres.
- Historic Long Range work includes a focus area with an anomalous footprint of >300 metres along and across strike, with a peak undrilled in situ gold value of 11.6 g/t Au sampled.
- Long Range now ranks as a high-grade, in-situ, gold-bearing diamond drill target for the Company in 2023.
