Schweinchen Schlau´s Steinhaus wird auch diesen Stürmen trotzen!

Die Probleme sollten lösbar sein:

- Überschwemmung bereits behoben
- Shaft Winder wird in einem Monat repariert sein
- an der hohen Abwesenheitsrate sollte auch was machbar sein

Allerdings scheint Droopy das Unglück anzuziehen, wie das Licht die Motten.

Den auf 35c gesunkenen Aktienkurs von Emperor sollte DRD nutzen, seinen 45%igen Anteil zu erhöhen. Immerhin war DRD damals bereit 80c für die Aktie zu zahlen.

Überaus ärgerlich, daß DRD keine Quartalsberichte mehr herausgibt. Wäre sehr wichtig zu sehen, ob die Probleme im 3. Quartal behoben sind.

die haben einen Kreditrahmen von Investec von über 40 Mio USD für Neuerwerbungen.

Na klar, Schweinchen Schlau ist so inkompetent, dass ein Hippo aus defizitären Schächten ruckzuck, die Gewinne nur so sprudeln lässt?

Ist doch klar, worum es sich hier handelt: 1. um eine Privatfehde zwischen dem Hippo und Schweinchen Schlau.

Und 2. um eine Hedging-Orgie mit Ansage, um kurzfristig ordentlich Zaster in die eigene Tasche zu wirtschaften.

Eien Farge darf erlaubt sein: wenn Harties so super ist, warum haben sich dann weder Harmony, noch Anglogold darum beworben?

3 000 miners to march to DRD

Johannesburg - Between 3 000 and 6 000 mineworkers facing lay offs at DRDGold's (DRD) North West operations will march to the company's head office to hand over a memorandum of demands on Friday.
NUM spokesperson Moferefere Lekorotsoana said the memorandum includes demands by the union on the company to pay workers their severance packages.

Workers are also demanding that the company renew work permits for those still waiting for their permits since September last year as well as the immediate implementation of the agreed social plan.

"DRDGold has made it clear that it does not want to run the North West operations anymore. So we are saying it should stop dilly dallying and pay workers their packages," Lekorotsoana said.

He added that the union reiterates its position that the mining licence of DRDGold should be given to an operator who is prepared to run the North West operations.

"DRDGold should sell these operations and stop procrastinating, a serious operator should take over - period.

"Worker's futures are on the line here and this has nothing to do with the union being choosy on who takes over the operations," Lekorotsoana added.

"If it is the liquidators being slow then we are saying that they must move fast and resolve this matter. We can't go on like this because workers are struggling."

Simmer and Jack Mines, Limited on Tuesday submitted an offer to the liquidators of Buffelsfontein Gold Mines Ltd to acquire all the assets belonging to DRDGold's former North West mines which were summarily shut on March 22.

The offer is conditional on a number of issues that Simmers believes can be successfully negotiated with stakeholders to bring the underground operations back to life.

Simmers chief executive, Gordon Miller said: "We have conducted a thorough due-diligence to establish exactly what is required to restart the underground mines successfully.

"The results of our investigation show that turn around will be successful under the correct leadership and commitment from all stakeholders."

The NUM said the march will commence from the Civic Centre (now the Metropolitan head office) in Braamfontein at 11:00 and the memorandum will be handed over to DRDGold management at 13:00 at their offices on Empire Road.

"The workers are expected to leave the mine premises as of tomorrow because they can no longer live in the hostels, because the company has no intention of providing water, electricity and food."
