    Details
As of October 31, 2019, the Buriticá project mill facilities mechanical completion was 88 percent. All major milling equipment has been installed, and work is advancing in all areas for piping, electrical and instrumentation. The mill building was enclosed in November and there has been significant advance on the electrical room and mill control office. Liner installation is underway for both the SAG and ball mills. The tailing filtration building is nearly enclosed; roof structure work is well-advanced for the Merrill Crowe and tailing storage buildings. Construction of the approximately 32-kilometre powerline between the Chorodó substation on the power grid and the Buriticá project was completed in Q3 2019. The line and mine substation were energized in November and all underground mining areas are now being powered with energy from the new 110-kV powerline. The mill facilities remain on schedule for Q1 2020 mechanical completion. Ramp-up to commercial production is anticipated approximately six to nine months thereafter.
Underground development continues to exceed expectations as Continental's crews achieved 1,569 metres of lateral development in October. This was the highest monthly advance for the project to-date. Total lateral development advance, including ramps, sublevels and ore development is 19,800 metres. Crews are advancing daily at the Yaraguá and Veta Sur ramps and the Higabra adit, with focus on stope preparation prior to production startup. At the end-October 2019, the pre-production stockpile was 81,200 tonnes and averaged 7.2 g/t gold. Since early 2019, monthly definition drilling has been increasing with 15 drills focused on underground definition drilling. Ventilation circuit modifications were implemented following the completion of the 294-metre ventilation raise connecting shallow elevation Veta Sur development with deeper Veta Sur development in the Higabra tunnel. Two additional raises are presently being excavated as ore and waste passes in the Yaraguá system and are on schedule.
"We continue to be very pleased with Buriticá's progress," commented Donald Gray, Chief Operating Officer. "Our mine crews have been consistently exceeding planned development with monthly advance topping 1.5 kilometres in October, the highest monthly advance to date. Mill facilities construction—in particular piping, electrical and instrumentation—are advancing rapidly for mechanical completion, and we have already begun pre-commissioning in a number of areas. Our mine development and mill construction progress has positioned us well to achieve our 2020 goal of mechanical completion in Q1 and commercial production six to nine months thereafter. Comprehensive production mining and mill operations training is underway for our local workforce. We are very confident our crews will continue meeting the challenge to work safely and efficiently for this world-class operation."

VANCOUVER, Nov. 18, 2019 - Ascot Resources Ltd. (TSX: AOT; OTCQX: AOTVF) (“Ascot” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results from nineteen (19) drill holes completed in the Prew zone of Ascot’s Premier Gold Project (“Premier”) near Stewart in northwestern British Columbia.
    Highlights of this release include:

    • 37.95g/t Au over 5.03m in hole P19-2153
    • 8.14g/t Au over 13.03m in hole P19-2156
    • 8.39g/t Au over 8.75m in hole P19-2151

The Prew zone was discovered in 2017 and these new high-grade intercepts will contribute to the process of upgrading resources from the inferred to the indicated category in the upcoming resource update for the project.
The Company has completed approximately 52,400m of drilling at Premier in 2019 and reported results from just over 60% of the drill holes to date.
Derek White, President and CEO of Ascot commented, “Impressive drill results such as these reinforce our confidence in the Premier deposit. From a technical viewpoint, these results demonstrate our ability to predict the position of mineralized zones in the deposit. The intercepts are close to where they were expected and the high-grade nature of the mineralization confirms the quality of the Prew zone overall. We are very excited to conduct a new resource estimate at Premier which will then feed into a feasibility study for the project. We anticipate to be very busy until the end of 2019 and into the beginning of next year until the study is complete.”
    Drill Results
This news release presents the results from 19 drill holes, comprising 5948 metres of drilling, completed from six separate pads into the Prew zone at the Premier deposit. All 19 drill holes intercepted mineralized quartz breccias with 12 reported intervals in excess of 10g/t Au. The results from these drill holes are summarized in Table 1 and the pad locations are listed in Table 2.
The Prew zone is located in the northeastern part of the Premier deposit and forms the down-dip continuation of the Ben zone. Both zones were discovered by extensive drilling in 2017. On subsequent inspection following the Premier resource estimate in 2018 (see news release from December 3, 2018) it was determined that there was a gap in the drill pattern that prevented a high-grade portion of the Prew zone from achieving classification in the indicated category. The drill holes reported in this release were targeted on this gap and will be utilized to re-classify the entire zone in the next iteration of resource estimates for Premier.
Figure 1 Image of the historical Premier mine area showing the mill building and the location of the drill pads described in this release. The Prew zone is striking northeast as outlined by the intercepts in the drill holes. Pad locations are listed in Table 2.

Trust erwarb, berichtet American Bullion Inc.

    Dies

    In

After four months of negotiations, the platinum sector has managed to avert a strike as three major producers inked a wage deal with the majority union.
At a ceremony on Friday, the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) signed the deal with platinum miners Anglo American Platinum (Amplats), Impala Platinum and Sibanye-Stillwater.
The settlement has been upheld by the parties as fair and in the medium term is expected to bring stability to a sector that has been a hotspot since tensions culminated in the Marikana massacre in August 2012 when police killed 34 protesters.
Amcu president Joseph Mathunjwa said a basic monthly increase of R1,000 a worker per annum amounted to more than R5.7bn in total over the next three years and would benefit employees as well as their local economies.
Amcu has been negotiating with the country’s biggest platinum miners since July when its initial demand was as high as a 48% increase for workers.
In the final deal, Amplats agreed to an increase of R1,000 a month in basic pay, or 5.5%, whichever is greater, for each year of the agreement. The settlement includes other benefits, such as ex gratia payments of R1,000 in July 2020 and R1,500 in July 2021.
Sibanye-Stillwater has agreed to an annual increase of R1,000 a month, or a 5% increase, whichever is higher. Implats agreed to an increase of R1,100, or 6%.
In October, Amcu stood firm that it would not accept less than a R1,000 increase in workers’ monthly wages and deferred negotiations with Amplats and Sibanye to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
On Friday, Mathunjwa said he had not expected that negotiations would take four months, given the high platinum group metals (PGM) prices.
The companies said they were pleased to have reached a fair settlement that was sustainable for both their businesses and their employees.
Arnold van Graan, mining analyst at Nedbank Corporate & Investment Banking, said any deal that avoids a strike is a good deal, as there are no winners in a strike.

“We also believe each company paid what it could afford, without jeopardising its long-term viability. So it seems like it was a good comprise in the end. With the wage deal in place, everyone can get on with the business of fixing the industry,” he said.
Peter Major, director of mining at Mergence Corporate Solutions, said he thought the settlement was reached relatively quickly and that the agreements were generous of the mining companies.
Major said the deal was a bit of a gamble on the part of the PGM mines that current, high precious metal prices will last but, ultimately, “a three-year settlement is really good for industry. That’s why they paid more than they needed to.”
Major said Mathunjwa comes off well, having handled the negotiations maturely, and deserves recognition for brokering such a settlement without a strike.

During the three-month period ended September 30, 2019, the Group mined 27,577 tonnes of ore from its Vertikalny open pit and milled 26,576 tonnes of ore, producing 502,134 ounces of silver contained in dry powder (before smelting losses and refinery adjustment). During the three-month period ended September 30, 2019, the Group sold approximately 400,877 ounces of silver at a realized price of US$16.98 Ag/oz. For the nine-month period ended September 30, 2019, the Group produced 1,074,848 ounces of silver and sold 1,027,574 ounces of sliver for production revenue of US$ 16,345,990.
During the third quarter, the process plant continued to generally operate well, demonstrating it could consistently operate as designed at planned throughput rates for ore. Also during the quarter, the Group engaged Wardell Armstrong (Moscow) to provide a review of the mineral resources as well as revised mine and processing plans of Vertikalny and Mangazeisky North deposits. The engineering review is expected be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.
At present there are no construction contractors and approximately 161 Prognoz employees at site. There are also 31 contractors, namely catering, blasting and drilling, and process consultants. As of September 30, 2019, there was no lost time recorded accident at site.
During the quarter, mining activity was running close to planned levels. As part of the Group’s cost saving measures it took over the open pit drilling work from the current contractors in the second quarter. Grade control trenching is ongoing as is sampling from blasthole chippings, which helps to guide the updates of the mining model and detailed mining plans.
In the Second quarter, the Group completed construction of an on-site airstrip the benefits of which include the reducing personnel and cargo logistics costs and lessening flight irregularities due to weather conditions. The Group is also considering building a refueling station at the airstrip in the near future which is expected to further reduce costs.
Planning for the Group’s 2020 winter road procurement and transportation is underway, including tender procedures for fuel stores.
