"Excellent performance from our operating portfolio combined with continued robust metal prices led to another quarter of record revenue and strong operating cash flow," commented Bill Heissenbuttel, President and CEO of Royal Gold. "The positive price environment continues to support organic growth from within the portfolio including new revenue contributions from Relief Canyon and South Laverton. Solid operating cash flow of almost $100 million allowed us to further strengthen the balance sheet, increase our annual dividend for the 20 th consecutive year, and complete our funding of the advance payment for the 80% base silver stream at Khoemac a u. We are pleased to see progress at Khoemac a u remain on track for first shipment of concentrate in the third calendar quarter of 2021."
"Finally," continued Mr. Heissenbuttel, "we continued our long-standing practice of maintaining an independent and highly qualified Board of Directors with the election of Fabiana Chubbs following the retirement of Chris Thompson in November. I would like to welcome Fabiana to the Board and thank Chris for his invaluable contribution to Royal Gold over the past several years."

Almaden will eine überarbeitete Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfung machen.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 03, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Almaden Minerals Ltd. (“Almaden” or “the Company”; TSX: AMM; NYSE American: AAU) is pleased to provide shareholders with an update regarding its intentions for advancing the Ixtaca project during 2021.
As previously disclosed, Almaden was informed late last year that the Company’s initial environmental impact assessment (“MIA”) in respect of the Ixtaca project did not receive approval from the Mexican federal permitting authority, Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (“SEMARNAT”).
Since that time, the Company has reviewed SEMARNAT’s reasons for not approving the MIA, and engaged in conversations with a range of project and industry stakeholders in Mexico. Almaden remains convinced that the Ixtaca project can be a showcase for modern, responsible mineral development in Mexico. The Company intends to work towards submitting a revised MIA which incorporates additional data presently available to the Company as well as data to be gathered in further field studies.
Morgan Poliquin, President and CEO, commented: "We believe the Ixtaca project has many natural advantages which allow it to make a significant net positive contribution to the local and regional area, and to define new ground in the realm of sustainable mining. Our intention moving forward is to seek opportunities to allow for robust dialogue on the nature of these potential contributions, and to submit a new MIA which clearly reflects the current priorities in Mexico. In the meantime, we also plan to continue to advance high priority exploration targets identified at the property.”
Morgan Poliquin continued, “We are grateful for the input of the people in the local communities who support the project and who are remaining patient with the permitting process. Our ongoing permitting and regional work will continue to view their input as a core driver of both project design as well as programs to optimise the potential for shared value”.

"However, at a share price of $42.00, Wheaton PM is trading at just 27x FY2021 annual EPS estimates. Even if we use a very conservative forward P/E ratio of 32 to account for Wheaton PM being a cyclical stock with less earnings stability than growth stocks due to commodity price assumptions, Wheaton PM's fair value PM is $49.92. This assumes the company meets FY2021 annual EPS estimates. This calculation is based on a forward earnings multiple of 32 and annual EPS estimates of $1.56 in FY2021.
While the valuation looks very reasonable at current levels, the technical picture is also corroborating the view that the stock might be a buy. As shown above, when Wheaton Precious Metals' rate-of-change indicator (bottom pane) has dropped below 20%, it's typically been a low-risk area to start a position in the stock. In fact, this has occurred four times in the past several years, and three of four occurrences marked the lows for the stock within 10%. The only exception was in late 2015 during a brutal bear market for metals, but Wheaton PM traded 80% above the level of the buy signal within 12 months. Just two weeks ago, this indicator flashed another buy signal, suggesting that the stock was likely nearing a medium-term bottom below $40.00. While I wouldn't rule out a re-test of this area, I believe that any drop back below $41.00 would represent a low-risk buying opportunity."

Die Währungen verfallen, was bleibt übrig?
