...The HUI should remain above 320, but expect further consolidation. The pattern as it stands appears incomplete and requires one more leg up to complete wave F before wave G can form. Many junior gold/silver stocks are moving up while the HUI consolidates; this market requires a rifle at present to pick stocks rather than a shotgun approach that works well near the latter part of a long upward trend. Personally, I continue to accumulate gold/silver stocks and view this added "purgatory time" as further opportunity.

Cape Town - South African Reserve Bank Governor Tito Mboweni on Friday dismissed proposals from international advisers for the country to try weaken the currency to boost exports.
"Any attempts to weaken the exchange rate, I think is folly," he told parliament's finance committee.
"If today you want to weaken the exchange rate what happens when it gets too weak, what are you going to do? You should also be able to move on the other side and this is not a good idea."
An international panel, known as the Harvard Group, have suggested the rand currency may be overvalued and have suggested a weaker unit would boost exports and economic growth.
Mboweni also said he would not make any statement that the rand was "strong".

Klar die 640 war da, ich schau auf andere Charts und die meisten Prognosen von Analysten machen einen nur unsicher, das mit Absicht !!
Ich habe meine eigenen Charts und einige Analysten die ich fuer voll nehme, was die deutschen Analysten auf den Goldseiten schreiben interessiert mich ueberhaupt nicht weil sie IMO so konservativ vorsichtig sind.
Die Elliots, Gott hab sie seelig so schreiben und hoffen ist in keiner Relation zu anderen Werten bzw. Waehrungen/Rohstoffe.
Na ja, wir werden es schon sehen wer innerhalb eines Jahres Recht hat und was eintrifft.

Schaute mir gerade den Nickel Preis an, oops der fiel aber ! (-40%) 
Kennt jemend einige Nickelaktien, dort koennte man auch ein wenig einsteigen.
Ich mache ungerne Prognosen, die ich machte stimmten mehr oder weniger. Ich verkaufe wenig und nur wenn ich muss.
Gestern schaufelt ich um von einigen Oilaktien die noch im plus waren in gehaemmerte PM Aktien.
Mit den Oilaktien, nach Abzug von den Rennern sitze ich nun -30% im Keller mit den restlichen Pennern im Depot.
Die Oilaktien stiegen ansich nicht obwohl der Oilpreis nun so hoch ist daher raus damit selbst wenn es ein Fehler ist.
Ich habe aufgestockt bei Uran das man sicherlich braucht in der Zukunft, diese Aktien haben einen groesseren Schlag abbekommen als die PM Aktien.
Die Russen haben vorsichtshalber schon ein altes U-Boot mit Russischer Flagge am Nordpol versenkt um anzudeuten sie wollen dort nach Oil und Gas bohren wo angeblich 25% der Weltreserven liegen.
Sicher die Produktion wird teuer aber spaeter wenn Oil ueber 100 USD liegt lohnt es sich schon eher. Russland hat angeblich nur Oil und Gas bis 2020 sagten die in dem Bericht, die 200 milen Zone die jeder um sein Land hat das den Pol umgrenzt wollen die Russen gerne erweitern und sich den Nordpol der dahinschmilzt zu sichern.
Ja warum denn wenn sie selber der groesste Oil und Gas Produzent schon sind ?...weil alles knapp wird bei so vielen Menschen.
Die Amis sind Oilsuechtige, mit 5% der Weltbevoelkerung verbrauchen die 25% vom Oil, die werden sich noch umschaunen mit ihren Spritfressern.
Die Rohstoffe und Edelmetalle werden steigen, daher ist der bereich ein Gewinner ueber viele Jahre.
Sinclair sagt mindesten bis 2012 steigen die Edelmetalle, seine 1650 USD kommt bestimmt fuer Gold bis dort hin.
Jason Hommel ist der Super Optimist und redet nun von 8000 USD fuer Silber in 15 Jahren, Dough Casey schreibt, Leute kauft gute Minen in der stealth phase.
Der USDX wird schon auf 72 fallen irgendwie, also wer Gold/Silber mit seinen Fiatgeld kauft und die richtigen PM Aktien kauft der sollte nichts falsch machen.
In ein paar Tagen sollte die Korrektur vorbei sein, beim HUI ,touch wood halten die 340 und Gold und Silber bei 13 und der bloeden triple 6 soweit auch.

I had a good reason for investigating closing prices for shares that were far out of the normal range of trading on the AMEX and TSX.
Would you imagine that an over-the-counter dealer can trade 100 shares with himself or a pal in order to mark a stock up or down after the close of regulated public exchanges? Internet computer-based systems then report these results as the real close - in most cases priced at the extreme of the day's trading. So you should hold suspect high range or low range closes as being potentially manipulative actions to paint a chart, certainly in the case of Candle Sticks.
In truth, trying to paint a chart in after hours games is a sign of penny anti desperation.
To see what the true close is for a stock on any given day you need to review the "volume at price" chart selection. Most trading platforms have this particular capability.
Regulations now support criminals bent on doing harm to others for their own benefit. That is a sign of Authoritarian Free Enterprise in the financial sense. That is what sub prime loans are all about and what over-the-counter derivatives take the cake on....more
Das ist mir jetzt Wurst, einige Oilaktien raus und Eldorado's sowie Gammon Gold heute rein.
Durch staendiges kaufen und auch Profitmitnahmen steht mein Edelmetall Depot auf gerade plus 16%.
Wenn ich Oilaktien, sonstige, Uran und Solar das nun mit minus 50% im Keller ist dazurechne komme ich gesamt auf -17% bei den drei Bereichen, und gesamt auf mickrige 7.4% Gewinn zur Zeit mit allen Aktien.
Der HUI humpelt nun seit ca. 17 monaten um die 320-340, weiss Gott kein Feuerwerk hier.
Man kann sich immer auf eine Korrektur bis -25% einstellen im 6-8 Wochentakt bei den PM Aktien.
Hoffentlich schaut das in 2008 besser aus und die 400-440 HUI erscheint.

Was wir in letzter Zeit an neuen threads haben um fast das selbe thema ist nicht angenehm. 
Ja mei, die shorten das letzte Gold in den Banken ums vielfache mit Deriviaten.
Auch von dort kommt der Wind,man verkauft was man nicht hat und nicht liefern kann, so einfach geht das manipulieren.

How any market observer could not trace the sharp decline in gold and silver prices to the engineering by the dealers is beyond me.....
In fact, a new and ugly record was set in the latest COT. The 4 or less largest traders’ net COMEX futures position grew to 52,864 contracts, or the equivalent of more than 264 million ounces.
The concentrated silver short position is now the equivalent of 151 days of global mine production. (264 million oz divided by 1.75 million oz daily global production).

Musina - Farmers are not allowed to carry out citizens' arrests on illegal Zimbabwean refugees who cross the border into South Africa and wander around on their farms, unless they've committed crimes such as rape, robbery or farm attacks.
Limpopo Police Commissioner Calvin Sengani said on Wednesday that Zimbabweans who crossed the borders onto farms were not guilty of any crime.
There had also not been an increase in the number of "border prowlers", he said.
However, Beeld was assured by police officers at the town and at the Beit Bridge border post that there had been a considerable increase in the past month.
Sengani said that in some parts of Limpopo such as Tolwe, Massisi and Alldays, the number of illegal immigrants had in fact decreased.
But he declined to give any statistics.
'There's not a crisis at present' 
"There's not a crisis in Limpopo or the country's northern border with Zimbabwe as reported in the media recently."
"When there's an increase in the number of attacks on farms, or robberies, then there's a crisis, but not at present."
Rounding up illegal immigrants is a job for the police.
Farmers are allowed to round them up and hand them over to police only when they cut game fences or commit crimes.
"We'll take action against people who arrest illegals who've not committed any crimes, because anyone who does so is in fact guilty of a crime," Sengani said.
"If an illegal immigrant (wants to) complain of having their hands and feet tied when they're rounded up by farmers they can lay an assault charge with the police."
The chairperson of the Soutpansberg District Agricultural Union, Gideon Meiring, said on Wednesday that Sengani didn't know what he was talking about.
"We're not going to stop patrolling, rounding up illegals or protecting our property. The minister (Charles Nqakula, Minister of Safety and Security) said we should do something ourselves to curb crime and we're doing that now," Meiring added.
He said the patrols by the farmers were an honest effort by them to protect their property.
In any case, farmers suffered damage running into thousands of rand when border fences were cut and game escaped. A kudu had to be shot on the N1 freeway last month when it broke through a game fence that had been cut.
It cost farmers a lot to repair damaged fences and there had also been cases in the area where tourists came face-to-face with illegal immigrants on the farms.
Farmers were trying to protect their property
Sengani said he didn't know why the media "focused" on illegal Zimbabwean immigrants, when there were also illegal immigrants from Mozambique, Zambia, Somali and Pakistan in South Africa.
MeanwhileAP quoted the manager of safety and security for the Transvaal Agriculture Union Chris van Zyl as saying farmers were trying to protect their property and help stabilise the situation.
"What must these guys do? Just sit back and do nothing, where in that kind of rural area there is no police presence," he said.
Van Zyl noted that there had been a noticeable increase in illegal immigrants as well as reports of thefts of stock, game and private property.
"There are many hungry people coming from Zimbabwe and when you have hungry people who are put in a tight spot, property is not secure," he said.
Van Zyl said the union had taken legal advice and did not believe any of their members were acting against the law.
