Russia Working on Secret Weapons — Defense Minister

Russia is working to create weapons that no other country possesses, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily.
“Many countries are working on…modern weapons systems, including us. Naturally, not a single partner or ally of ours knows anything about it and nor will they until they are tested,” he told the paper.

Ivanov said that modern Russia does not need the kind of army that the Soviet Union used to have.
“We do not want and we will not be a scarecrow for the whole world,” he stressed.

    Jim Sinclair’s Commentary:

Here comes another special funding for military expenses of USD$82 billion. Have you read this yet in the US media? Keep in mind that the proposed reduction for calendar year 2005 in the US Federal Budget was predicated on a budget accounting that did NOT contain ANY expenses for the US military action in Afghanistan and Iraq in 2005. There are, however, costs for this and they are certain to go up, not down, thereby relegating predictions for a lower US Federal budget deficit directly into the trash can.

US general warns of forces strain

The top US general, Richard Myers, has warned that ongoing military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan could limit the ability of the US to fight another war.
Current commitments can be met, but a new conflict could take longer and cause more casualties, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said. 8o

He expressed his views in a classified report to Congress, parts of which have been leaked to the media.

There are about 130,000 US troops in Iraq and some 16,000 in Afghanistan.

News seems now to be constant in its approach to “Never Disturb the Social Order” and “Cover Your Ass.” The net result is the best news show on TV is on the Comedy Channel - the Daily Show. Army withheld details on Tillman’s death
Investigator quickly learned ‘friendly fire’ was responsible
    By Josh White

    The Washington Post
    Updated: 12:27 a.m. ET May 4, 2005

The first Army investigator who looked into the death of former NFL player Pat Tillman in Afghanistan last year found within days that he was killed by his fellow Rangers in an act of "gross negligence," but Army officials decided not to inform Tillman's family or the public until weeks after a nationally televised memorial service.

A new Army report on the death shows that top Army officials, including the theater commander, Gen. John P. Abizaid, were told that Tillman's death was fratricide days before the service.

Soldiers on the scene said they were immediately sure Tillman was killed by a barrage of American bullets as he took shelter behind a large boulder during a twilight firefight along a narrow canyon road near the Pakistani border, according to nearly 2,000 pages of interview transcripts and investigative reports obtained by The Washington Post.

Entree's Lookout Hill Potential Enhanced By Latest Ivanhoe Disclosure

Wednesday May 4, 10:55 am ET

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 2005--Entree Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ETG - News; "Entree" or the "Company") comments on Ivanhoe Mines Ltd.'s (NYSE:IVN - News; TSX:IVN - News; "Ivanhoe") News Release of May 3, 2005 (the "Ivanhoe Release") announcing significant increases in all categories of the contained copper and gold resources at its Oyu Tolgoi Project.

Of particular note to Entree, the Ivanhoe Release confirms that the Hugo North Deposit now extends to the border of Entree's Lookout Hill property, and describes the deposit as "highest-grade copper porphyry deposit ever discovered". Recent drilling (Hole EGD006, disclosed in Entree's news release dated April 27, 2005) has confirmed the extension of the Hugo North Deposit across the property boundary onto Lookout Hill. Mineralized intersections from this hole were consistent with the high-grade copper and gold intersections encountered at the north end of the Hugo North Deposit, as previously reported by Ivanhoe.

Entree President, Greg Crowe, noted: "Of additional importance to Entree, is the acknowledgement in the Ivanhoe Release that drilling at the north end of Hugo North has highlighted a change in strike orientation of the deposit from due north-south to north-easterly. This orientation is sub-parallel to interpreted fault structures, suggesting the mineralized system is 'open indefinitely to the northeast rather than being structurally cut-off as was previously believed (by Ivanhoe)'".

In its news release, Ivanhoe announced that the 1.8 km long, Hugo North Deposit is now estimated to contain an indicated resource of 22.5 billion pounds of copper and 7.2 million ounces of gold, within 476 million tonnes grading 2.15% copper and 0.47 grams per tonne ("g/t") gold (using a 1% copper equivalent cut-off grade), and an additional inferred resource of 11 billion pounds of copper and 4.8 million ounces of gold.

The entire 6.1 km long Oyu Tolgoi Deposit, of which the Hugo North Deposit is the most northerly portion, is now estimated to contain measured and indicated resources of 32.85 billion pounds of copper and 17.34 million ounces of gold, within 1.15 billion tonnes averaging 1.3% copper and 0.47 g/t gold (at a 0.60% copper equivalent cut-off), and an additional inferred resource of 26.2 billion pounds of copper and 8.4 million ounces of gold, within 1.16 billion tonnes averaging 1.02% copper and 0.23 g/t gold.

Significantly, Ivanhoe notes in its news release that "the vast majority of the increase in the copper and gold resources at Oyu Tolgoi resulted from upgrading and expanding the underground copper and gold resources in the high-grade Hugo North Deposit".

Approximately 40,000 hectares of Entree's Lookout Hill property are being jointly explored by Entree and Ivanhoe, pursuant to a project agreement described below. In addition, Entree is exploring separately the 140,000 hectares of Lookout Hill that lie to the west of the Entree/Ivanhoe Project, and are not subject to the project agreement. It has also commenced exploration on its Ulziit Uul property, located approximately 120 km north of Lookout Hill.

    QUALITY CONTROL AND ASSURANCE

Reference should be made to the full text of the Ivanhoe Release for complete details of the updated resources estimates contained therein. Robert Cann, P.Geo., Entree's Exploration Manager and a "qualified person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101, is responsible for the preparation of technical information in the Company's news releases. SGS Mongolia LLC prepares the split core at the project site and assays all samples at its facility in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Ivanhoe's QA/QC program is monitored by independent consultant Dr. Barry Smee, P.Geo., and managed on site by Dale Sketchley, M.Sc., P.Geo. Prepared standards and blanks are inserted at the sample preparation lab on the project site to monitor the quality control of the assay data.

One of The Little People Speaks Up :D

    Michael Wheelock
    May 4, 2005

It's time for one of the "Little People" [see BWP] to speak up about gold and gold stocks. I'm not exactly new to investing: I rode the Gold Bull in the 70's and did incredibly well. I only listened to two of the "Golden Geezers" in those days but that was enough. Then one morning in January 1980 I watched bullion spike into the mid-$800's and knew that we had seen the top. How did I know? Intuition told me that trees don't grow to the sky.

The 2001 Gold Bull produced totally different results for me. The main reason why is because I read everything gold-related that I could get my hands on. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was to believe it. I stayed out of bullion last summer because a certain advisor stated rather eloquently that bullion was going down. Instead it went up. 8o
I stayed in gold after it formed a double top last spring because a certain advisor said that bullion was going to $480 or else he'd stop publishing his free daily gold commentary. I held a certain blue chip gold stock that went nowhere for two and a half years while bullion went up 35% because a certain investment letter that I actually paid for advised us to. The same advisor was bullish on gold -- especially at the top -- but recently suggested that his readers should sell.

Bullion would have to double from these levels to compensate for all the money I have lost by following so many advisors ?(.

But education costs money. Tuition is super-expensive. It's been worth losing money because I've finally re-learned how to trade the market. Not just the gold market but any market. And here's what I've learned.

    1. Our system may appear to be dysfunctional to some but it certainly is resilient. Despite all our faults we may last a great deal longer than many gold bugs think.

    2. There's only one market. Every security behaves the same way. Buying when the blood is running in the streets and selling when you want to marry your investments is the only trading strategy that works consistently. Special pleading, dynamite fundamentals, and even mathematics do not change the laws of market physics. Terror and lust for money create the extremes that generate profits for those with daring.

    3. Surrendering your seniority to an advisor - or anyone - because you think they are smart will cost you plenty. Advisors are people just like you and I. They make mistakes and are burdened with the need to be right and keep the cash flowing in. If you listen to other people you may not listen to yourself. The only weapon you have in the market is your own intuition. If you surrender your ability to know people will take your money consistently.

    4. If you stop using your time depending on other people's comments and chart interpretations, and use that time to stare at the charts you will develop your own opinions. Your own opinions can make you rich. Everyone has something to sell you or something to give you so that they can be right. Their opinions cloud your mind and prevent you from having your own thoughts. Can you concentrate in a room full of screaming people? I can't, so I have learned to protect myself and get my own information by shutting out as much input as possible. My bottom line developed an uptrend when I made that decision.

The current gold stock crash is no different from any other smash. When the blood is running in the streets, and panic rules, the bottom will come in. When investors sell stocks at any cost and throw value out the window it will be time to buy gold stocks again. How did I find that out? By ignoring everyone's opinion and watching the markets as they undulate through cycles that are as ancient as human society itself.

I hope that I don't run into too many of you at the bottom!

    Michael Wheelock

CONTINUE TO CONSISTENTLY AND VERY AGGRESSIVELY PURCHASE GOLD MINING SHARES

    (May 2, 2005):

Reading a number of well-known gold chat sites, such as http://kitco.com and http://321gold.com, it strikes me that there are an unusually high number of so-called "analysts" who are proclaiming that gold mining shares are a great long-term investment, but don't buy them yet, since they're going lower in the short run. These "analysts" (let's call them bozos :D, for clarity and accuracy) are primarily folks whom I call technical geeks, since they know or care nothing about historical trends, or about what is happening in the world economy. Their prose style is usually barely coherent, and populated with enough useless data to sink the Titanic without the aid of an iceberg. They blindly follow idiotic charting techniques from Economics 101, talk out of both sides of their mouth simultaneously, show their emotions and biases on their sleeves, and show zero comprehension of basic investment philosophy or psychology. However, no matter how dumb these geniuses are, the importance of these bozos in the market is significant, since the average investor does not trade gold mining shares, so those who read these web sites probably constitute a substantial portion of the total investors in gold mining shares. Therefore, there is likely to be a huge contingent of goldbugs who are currently less invested than normal in gold mining shares, or in some cases are perhaps not invested at all. Now, the one thing that a goldbug most fears is that a gold share rally happens when he is not fully invested. A goldbug would rather have his wife sleep with three different guys--all at once, even--than miss out on a gold rally without being fully invested. :D(No doubt there are female goldbugs, too, although they are still far outnumbered by the Y-chromosome set.) So there is a huge cash hoard of buying power ready to pile into gold mining shares as soon as these folks realize that, once again, they've been led down the primrose path by these bozos. As these goldbugs wake up and realize that the 4-1/2 year pattern of higher lows in these shares remains intact, they will be tripping over each other to buy, no matter how rapidly these share prices are increasing, or whatever else may be happening in the financial markets. Do the exact opposite of these bozos' advice. Assume that there will be a significant SHORT-TERM rally in gold mining shares, and let the long term take care of itself. ;)

    A MINER CORRECTION

    By Tom Dyson

Gold mining stocks have had a rotten time of it lately.

Since topping out at 257 in January 2004, the HUI index of
unhedged gold miners has skidded 30%. Even more frustrating
for the rattled resource investor, over the same time period,
gold has actually RISEN (about $2 an ounce to $426)
and so has the general stock market!

If there's a logical explanation for this, we don't know it.
Besides, we're only concerned with where these stocks go
next. That's where Doug Casey and Steven Jon Kaplan come
in. They're both seasoned investors in the resource arena
and they both think gold stocks are going up. The rest of
    today's issue explains why...

Doug Casey has been an active investor in natural resource
stock for the past 25 years, plenty of time to have
witnessed all manner of cycles and market action. He says
in his latest issue, "As is to be expected, in the early
years especially, I made mistakes, most attributable to
the hubris of youth. But most humans (politicians and
economists being the exception) learn from their mistakes,
and I learned from mine. As a direct consequence, I have
made considerable money in the resource sector. Certainly
enough to retire and hang out in upscale locales for the
rest of my life, if that were my wont."

Doug says secular bull markets come in three phases: 1)
Stealth, 2) Wall of Worry, and 3) Mania

    Stealth

It's called the 'stealth' phase because 'it's there but no
one knows it.' Nobody wants to own these stocks because
they've been beaten up so badly, and shares can be bought
on the basis of value alone. It's now that the new bull
market is born. Word gets around, and a wave of new
investors is brought into the market. In the case of mining
stocks, the stealth phase ended in late 2003.

    Wall of Worry

Seeing momentum diminish, speculators start realizing
profits and drive share prices back down. A dark cloud is
cast over the psychology of most investors and people start
to fret about all sorts of things. This is where we are
    now.

"Despite all the fear and sharp sell-offs, the market
slowly climbs the 'Wall of Worry.' It eventually digests
selling from the profit takers and the timid as new buyers
    overwhelm them."

    Mania

The broad base of individual and institutional investors
become convinced the market is going to the moon, pile in,
and drive it half way there.

"I expect the mania stage to resemble what we saw with
Internet stocks in the late '90s," it says in the current
issue of Doug's newsletter, International Speculator.

So what makes Doug Casey so sure this is actually a major
secular bull market for resource stocks?

"There are lots of arguments, but in brief, we're coming
off the longest and deepest secular commodity bear market
since the depression of the '30s," he writes.
    "Commodity
prices are still far closer to historic lows than historic
highs, at least in constant dollars, which is what counts."

"The world economy is evolving away from the debt-burdened
U.S. and towards China, India, and numerous smaller
countries; their growth will be volatile, but it's for
real, and they will consume unbelievable amounts of raw
    materials in the coming years."

"There's been very little mineral exploration for a full
generation, the industry has come nowhere near replacing
reserves, and a historic supply crunch in many commodities
    is in the making."

Should you be buying now? Doug Casey's answer is: Yes!

Our second 'seasoned investor' is Steven Jon Kaplan, author
of a free website called the True Contrarian
[http://www.truecontrarian.com], and student of the precious metal
    markets since the 1970s.

"The key to knowing good buying and selling opportunities
in gold mining shares is to track the spread between the
price of spot gold and HUI, the Amex Gold Bugs Index," he
told us on the telephone yesterday afternoon.

The spread Steven is referring to is calculated by
subtracting HUI from the spot gold price. As a general
rule, a high spread indicates pessimism toward gold mining
shares, so you want to buy these stocks when the spread is
starting to reverse lower from a major high point.

As the nearby chart shows, this past Friday, April 29,
2005, the spread reached 257, an all-time record high. The
record low was 148 on December 2, 2003, when HUI was at
    258.60.

"It acts like an inchworm that can't creep any deeper into
its crack. When it changes direction, it doesn't stop for a
while," says Steven. He's noticed strange behavior in the
gold markets over the last couple of days that makes him
think the turning point is finally at hand. For instance,
yesterday, gold fell $3 an ounce, but the HUI rallied
1.65%. And the HUI has started lower in the last few
trading sessions only to close higher each time.

"If this spread continues to reverse and move lower, as is
most likely, it could reach 225 or less within a couple of
    months.
Keep in mind that even if gold plunges to $396,
which is possible given its bearish traders' commitments, a
spread of 210 would put the HUI at 186,
    almost 6% above its
    current level."

We asked Steven where investors should put their money to
    capitalize...

"I like those stocks that got beaten up the worst having
    risen the most beforehand.
    I'm watching the mid-size
producers more than the big boys...stocks like Hecla
Mining, down from $9.31 a share at the beginning of 2004 to
$4.55 on Monday. Or Coeur D'Alene, which has fallen more
than 60% from its 2004 high. I also like GSS, GLG, and
    KGC."

Finally, even Bill Bonner has noticed this disparity. He
wrote in yesterday's edition of the Daily Reckoning: "The
ratio of gold, to gold mining stock prices is unusually
high. We assume it is mean reverting, like everything else
on the planet. Either the price of gold will fall, or the
price of gold mining stocks will go up.
    Our guess - for
what it's worth - is that the mining stocks will move up."

    Need we say more? ?(

    Liebe Leser

The biggest blame is if you blame somebody else !! wenn es schief geht.

    Viel Glueck !!! ;)

Anbei ein neuer Bericht vom Gata Board:

    GOLD: May 3, 21:02 , Cash Gold: 428.00; June Gold : 429.00

    1. I posted on April 28th that the daily momentum indicators were seriously overbought and needed a correction. Well, we are not quite in the oversold condition just yet but getting close.

    2. The weekly momentums could certainly turn up from these levels.

    3. In view of what I said above, I believe that the corrective dollar rally up from the Dec. 31, 2004 lows is skating on very thin ice and that the upside is extremely limited and , frankly, I believe we have reached the tipping point, i.e. we are headed down. In my April 28th posting, I said: " My sense is that all major economic indicators to be released forthwith will show greater weakness than expectations ... ". This has certainly been the case so far and I believe will continue to be so which will only reinforce dollar weakness. This is a positive event for gold and silver.

    4. Technically speaking, the most bearish case that I can make for gold at this moment is that we move up a bit and then have one more final down leg. After that, it should be powerful to the upside. :))

    5. The other possibility is that the correction from the Dec.2, 2004 highs is complete and we start a move up taking out the Dec. 2 highs.

    6. By the way, I view Warren Buffett's comment on gold " not being that interesting " as bullish since it probably drew in a lot of weak hands to short the market and frankly, I don't think that Buffett is an expert on gold unless he knows something from the " powers- that - be " that we don't. Yes, we all know about their suppression and manipulation schemes but as Midas points out rightly, one eventually has to deliver the gold or cover their derivative shorts. Will somebody out there with big bucks stand for delivery of 10,000 to 50,000 Comex contracts ? The fundamentals on gold could not be better with the devastation of so many gold companies at these prices.

    HUI: May 5 Close: 180.71

    1. Deeply oversold on the daily and weekly momentums.

    2. Today's intraday low was 176.43. I had potential targets slightly below this low but the important thing is that there is HUGE SUPPORT AND TARGETS BETWEEN 153 TO 169. This confirms my outlook for cash gold. Conclusion: there may be a little bit more downside but not much before a significant rally.

SILVER: May 5 21:02: Cash Silver: 6.91; July Silver: 6.925

    1. As with gold, the daily momentums have gone from seriously overbought since April 28 to almost oversold.

    2. I believe there is a high probability that silver has seen its correction lows on May 2nd at 6.74 basis cash. As I said on April 28th, I was a buyer between 6.80 to 7.04.

    3. I think the downside is very limited at this point and we could have very powerful moves up in the not distant future.

In conclusion, I believe the markets will understand that the Fed will not raise rates for the foreseeable future and is trapped between fighting inflation ( which they won't contrary the WSJ plant ) or keeping a high degree of monetary/liquidity stimulus in the hope of forestalling an economic downturn . Therefore more supply of digital dollars into the system and the dollar will now be at the mercy of the reports on the economy which I believe will show continued weakness which in turn will exacerbate the out of control federal deficits. Not a time to be absent from the markets.

It is almost midnight and I wanted to go over the stock market and crude oil. In short, I remain bearish the stock market and believe crude oil is correcting a previous up leg with important targets around 48.50 to 49.00. More tomorrow.

    Wishing you successful investing,

So, Peter Silly, its all yours !!!

The secret word for great sex is spontaneity. Be spontaneous and don't plan everything out or pencil her in for an appointment! Pick her up and sit her on the sink when she is in the bathroom.... OR... grab her arm when she stand next to you in the hallway and lean her against the wall!

Use three fingers, it works, one on the g spot, one inside, and leave the third to roam. It works!

While performing oral sex, take your tongue and lick from the back through to the belly button and that will make her quiver and like you
Tip for you: Tell her what you want her to do to you... but don't order her around. Whisper to her how you want it... its a turn on and it helps us to please you. :P
A woman loves to be touched -- not roughly but slow and gently. Start up top and work your way down. Make sure you are touching skin since she can't feel you with Option63.
