Today's news has also led to a reevaluation of several areas, where
veinlets were found but never assayed, even in the upper levels of the
mine. Should these turn out to be of economical interest, they would be

Noch ein paar Korrekturen/Anmerkungen zum letzten Posting:

sollte "sonntags" heißen nicht samstags.

Bei ECU registrierung hab ich, woher ich ECU kenne http://www.goldseiten.de angegeben.
Was natürlich nicht stimmt.
Wusste es aber selber nicht mehr.
Bei Zettelkramerei kam ich dann drauf, dass es Hommel war, der sie mir bekannt gemacht hatte, vor ca 3 Jahren
Da gab´s aber noch etliche Schwierigkeiten bei ECU.

Interessieren würde mich, ob embry (er hat ja von "spam" gesprochen, was bei ECU lächerlich ist!) bei der Kursschwäche eingestiegen ist.
Nur ein Scherzerl!

Es gibt schon Flieger!
Der drache hat seit Freitag 50% zugelegt.
Von mir des öfteren erwähnt, u.a. als highflyer von Juni bis Ende 06 von mir benannt.
Nur haben tu ich ihn nicht. Hatte ihn heuer schon, Gewinn mitgenommen
nicht mehr eingestiegen. Ist ja sehr volatil, das Ding.

Silver Dragon Resources Inc. (OTC BB:SDRG.OB - News) is pleased to announce the receipt of assays from the second drill hole, Drill Hole LM-02, at its Cerro las Minitas Project in Durango, Mexico.

Drill Hole LM-02 was drilled to a depth of 421.4 meters at an angle of -63° to intercept the Puro Corazón structures 100 meters below the deepest exploration there to date and to test additional targets suggested by data from drill hole LM-01. Five of the six intercepts cut in this hole, which are summarized in the table below, returned grades of economic interest.

The intersection of previously unknown high-grade manto-style mineralization in LM-02 is of significant interest, as this is the first hard evidence for manto mineralization peripheral to the skarn environment at Cerro las Minitas. Reported intervals are measured core lengths, and their true widths have yet to be determined.

Property

We are pleased to report that the last option payment on the El Coronel concessions has now been made. Kimber through its wholly-owned subsidiary Minera Monterde S. de R.L. de C.V. now holds a 100% interest, free of all royalties, in all of the concessions that make up the Monterde project. This property consists of the formerly optioned claims which are surrounded by concessions staked by Kimber in 2005. The entire property covers 28,000 hectares and is 37 kilometres in length along the mineral trend. Only a very small portion of this property has been explored in any detail.

Drilling

Drilling on the Carmen is approaching completion with a few areas of the deposit requiring some additional drilling. While the Carmen deposit is progressing through Pre-Feasibility studies, the focus of drilling is now on the Carotare deposit and the El Orito Norte target. Making sufficiently robust access roads has taken much longer than expected. The delays were attributed to our initial belief that roads could be built using D7 or D8 bulldozers as were used at Carmen. Unfortunately, this strategy did not work as hoped because knobs of high silica rock which are not present at Carmen are found throughout Carotare and El Orito Norte. These required drilling and blasting before the dozers could be brought in. We now have three compressors and jacklegs preparing the sites for blasting. Meanwhile one RC drill is now on Carotare East with the other RC and Core rig working at Carmen.

Pre-Feasibility Study

Micon International of Toronto ("Micon") continues to work on the Pre-Feasibility study which is expected in September. This study will report on the economics of the deposit based on the drilling completed by February 2006. This study will be on Carmen only and will assume a heap-leach only operation as the base-line model. It will use a high recovery rate for gold (based on tests which are mostly complete) and a low recovery for silver (based on incomplete tests). Later, following further completion of silver metallurgical studies, the costs and benefits of a mill (to enhance silver recovery) will be investigated.

At this stage of the project, the principal technique is to run the block model data through a pit optimizing program. Kimber's technical team has been generating one of these for internal use only. Micon will present an optimized pit as part of the Pre-Feasibility study. This process "looks at" each block, its content of gold and silver, their recovery, and the cost of mining and processing that block. Such exercises will indicate how much of the resources reported in the block model can be included in an open pit for given prices of gold and silver. Sensitivities for varied gold and silver prices will be included as well.

The Pre-Feasibility study as discussed previously is an important milestone for Kimber. Only a very small percentage of properties make it to this stage and we are proud of the development that has taken place at Monterde since Kimber was a private company in 2001.

Next Steps

As we continue into the fall, our objective is to demonstrate strong results from Carotare and El Orito Norte which, if eventually developed into additional open pittable deposits, could have significant effects on profitability.

Wer die Meldung von UC.V gelesen hat, hat wahrscheinlich auch festgestellt, dass die heuer noch produzieren.

Sie werden die tailings verarbeiten, ähnlich wie es Sterling macht.
Die haben glaub ich, so ca. 20 t oz jährlich. Das ist nicht viel.

Bei UC wirds dann mehr anfang 07. Jedenfalls ist das schon ein kleiner cash flow, d.h. sie sind nicht mehr nackert.

Highlights of the Minera Silver Creeck Acquisition

- The past producing La Colorada mine has yielded historical silver grades between 128.4 and 555.3 g/t.

- Inferred mineral resources of approximately 225,750 tonnes of tailings with a grade of 2.0 g/t gold and 220 g/t of silver.

- A modern mill with the design capacity of processing 200 tonnes of feed per day, with a targeted start-up in the fourth quarter of 2006.- Once the mill modifications are complete, an estimated 80% recovery rate for both gold and silver (historical recovery rates are 80% for gold and 50% for silver).

- A low operating and recovery cost.

- Geology is typical of other epithermal discoveries in the Sierra Madres.

Los Laureles Property (Tailings)

There have been three "mineral reserve" estimates in respect to the Tailings, two of which have been historical. In respect to the third estimate a previous survey of the Tailings Dam was digitized and constructed north-south cross-sections at ten metre intervals commencing five metres from the toe of the dam. The area of each section was determined using Autocad software and was assumed to represent a volume half the distance to the next section. Further assumptions were made and the reserve totaled 132,795 m3, to which an SG of 1.7 was applied to produce 225,750 tonnes. The grade attributed to this volume was 2.0 g/t Au and 220.0 g/t Ag which is equal to the average for six approximate 50 kg samples taken from the surface of, the pits in and the adits in the Tailings Dam. Jim Burns, a qualified person and the author of the NI 43-101 Report prepared in respect to the Tailings, stated, in his opinion, the estimates meets the requirement for an "inferred mineral resource" as specified in the CIM standards on mineral resources and reserves - definitions and guidelines adopted by the CIM council on August 20, 2000.

Wenn die Gebiete unbekannt sind, kann man auf das Management schauen.

Hab neulich so als schwaches Rätsel die Bio eines CEO hier reingestellt. Wenn ich so etwas lese, weiß ich schon, dass ich da gut liege. Obwohl nicht gesagt ist, wenn einer 30 jahre hervorragende Arbeit leistet, dass er auch mal daneben greifen kann etc...
