Market Comment
The market had a slowish start to the week, opening $4 higher against NY's better close on Friday. The range for most of the morning was a
mere 2 $ and volume was light. Trade and roaster scale buying was evident once more down to 700 basis May (some 700 lots) and down to
720 on July (400 lots). This gave the appearance of good support and as NY opened and rallied , the near term resistance at 720 was tested.
This was the old support area last week before the mkts fell. The late opening of NY due to the extra hours time difference( Europe is now on
summer time) may have contributed to the low volume. By the close , more scale buying emerged on Jly below the market, taking total depth
to 720 to some 900 lots.
Spreads: May/Jul -18 to -20 (400), May/Sep -35 to -39, Jul/Sep -17 to -19 (50), Jul/Nov -33 to -34.

Commitment of Traders: The Fund net long position was 28,583 (from 29,197 ) Non Reportables were net long 12,595 as of 23/03.
The above report is obviously out of date given the large sell off last week. We estimate that some 10,000 lots were sold by Funds , and we may
be a bit conservative in this given the high volumes in the latter part of the week. In any event the 'C' opened unchanged as expected, and contrary
to floor expectations rallied on light Fund and speculative buying, making an early attempt at 73.50, which is the beginning of the large chart
gap left last week. Once the buying petered out ,locals liquidated longs and values retraced to approach the 72 cent level.
Spreads: May/Jul 225/220, Jul/Sep 215/205, Sep/Nov 260/250, Dec/Mar 260/250.
Outlook
For the moment at least, the Fund liquidation has stopped. Given the degree of roaster interest we feel a small bounce is due. -

ich würds auch liegenlassen - mindestens so lange bis man näheres über Gold weisss - ob es aus seinen vielen dreicken ausbricht oder nicht. Nickel wird folgen. Jubilee auch. Jetzt haste Jubilee schon so lange, und das lange konsolidierungs-3eck ist zuende. jetzt abwarten und teetrinken wie du so schön sagtest ;-))) mach ich auch... und weil ich SA-RAND lastig bin, gibts für mich seit wochen nur ROTBUSCHTEE

schaut man sich den Chart von Jaguar an, so könnte man auf folgende Spekulationsinterpretation kommen:
Jaguar scheint in seinem aktuellen Dreieck noch nicht so weit zu sein - erst Welle 2 markiert. Jetzt: Nickel bricht nach oben stark aus und Jaguar folgt mit Welle 3. Und genau wenn Jaguar in seinem 3eck bei welle 3 ist, dann konsolidiert nickel kurz aus seinem thrust, bevor es dann weitergeht... Jaguar könnte natürlich auch innerhalb 2tage von welle 2 auf welle 3 aufholen, eigenständig vom nickelpreis losgelöst schnell korrigieren auf unteren schenkel und dann ausbrechen...

a propos Nickel-minende Schächte die aus dreiecken ausbrechen:
Diese hier ham noch schickes Aufwärtspotenzial zur #1 wenn die nach oben ausbrechen (und nickelpreis). Daneben weist Dumont einen saubereren Dreieckstrend auf wie Jubilee. Dies mag aber auch daran liegen, dass Jubilee ein wesentlich höheres Handelsvolumen hat als Dumont.
Ob der RSI-Indikator noch die 30 trifft wäre nur perfektionsstreben.
