    Royal Standard Minerals Inc. (the "Corporation")(TSX VENTURE: RSM), announced that on June 25, 2007 it intends to begin a normal course issued bid to repurchase some of its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange, subject to TSX-V approval. Under the bid, the Corporation intends to repurchase up to 4 million common shares, representing approximately 5% of the issued and outstanding common shares presently outstanding. Purchases are expected to be made in accordance with applicable regulations over a maximum period of 12 months ending June 25, 2008. The directors of the Corporation believe that the purchase by the Corporation of its own shares at the prevailing market price may, in appropriate circumstances, be a responsible investment of funds on hand, and in the best interests of the Corporation, and any purchases made will be made on that basis. The Corporation has not made any previous purchases of its own shares within the past twelve months. The IDA member firm conducting the bid is M Partners of Toronto, Ontario.

    Treasury Rout Is Muffled by Reserves, Tame Inflation (Update2)

    June 18 (Bloomberg) -- The steepest decline in Treasuries since 2004 is convincing even the most bullish investors that U.S. government bonds are now in a bear market.


    Bill Gross, the manager of the world's biggest bond fund at Pacific Investment Management Co., and Dan Fuss, whose Loomis Sayles Bond Fund has been the best performer among its peers the last decade, are preparing for higher market rates after yields on 10-year Treasuries, the benchmark for home mortgages and corporate borrowing, rose to a five-year high last week.


    While the rout wiped out more than $550 billion from the value of government bonds during the past month, investors don't anticipate the losses of the last two bear markets, in 1994 and 1999. The combination of demand from overseas investors, who have $5.4 trillion in currency reserves, a four-fold increase in derivatives that spread risks among a wider group of investors and the slowest inflation rate since March 2006 increase the chances that this decline will be muted, they said.

    Heute wird laut der letzten News damit begonnen, dass high-grade Material durch die Maschine zu schicken. Ein high-grade Pour also innerhalb der nächsten 3 Wochen.

    Raketen aus Libanon treffen Norden Israels


    Die nordisraelische Stadt Kirjat Schmona ist am Sonntag vom Libanon aus mit Raketen angegriffen worden. Nach Angaben der israelischen Polizei gab es keine Verletzten. Es handelt sich um den ersten Raketenangriff seit dem Ende des Libanon-Kriegs im Sommer 2006.

    Kommt mal zur Besinnung und lernt Gold und Silber schätzen.


    Einen Vorteil hat Wallstreet-Online: man kann User auf IGNORE setzen. Das geht hier (leider) nicht. Man könnte argumentieren: man will jede Meinung hören. Genauso aber auch: man sollte schlechten Einfluss und negative Energien von sich fern halten.

    China Sells Treasuries, Signaling Diversification (Update1)

    June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Chinese investors sold more U.S. Treasury securities in April than any time in at least seven years, a signal the nation may be diversifying the world's largest foreign-exchange reserves.


    China, which owns more U.S. debt than any foreign nation except Japan, sold a net $5.8 billion of Treasuries, the first drop in holdings since October 2005, according to Treasury Department figures that go back to 2000. The nation held $414 billion of the $4.4 trillion of marketable Treasuries in April, according to today's report.
