    Hallo Schischi,

    Grüße
    T.

Na hallo, was ist denn hier los???? :D

    http://www.malachite.com.au/pd…0Insight%20Feb%202007.pdf

Our current liquidity is about four million dollars, which
should be sufficient for us to achieve our goals this year,
and leave us in a sound position going into 2008. We
don’t have any specific plans for another capital raising,
but we usually like to offer our shareholders the chance to
buy a few shares at a discount under a shareholders’
    share purchase plan.
We do that about annually, so we’ll probably see that
happen in the September quarter this year, which should
top up our coffers a bit. Then we have around 30 million
20 cent options that expire in August 2008, so hopefully
our option holders will find it attractive to exercise those
options at the time, and that will provide
us with $6 million dollars in new capital in the middle of
2008. Our hope is that we will be ready to apply this
capital to the start up of our first mine.

    Brendan Fitzpatrick – Resources Analyst
Finally, what milestones should investors look for over
    the next six months?

Malachite Resources MD – Garry Lowder
It’s going to be a very busy period, with a lot of things
happening in parallel. The results of drilling at Conrad will
be released periodically as the programme proceeds, and
a synthesis should be out around the middle of the year.
In the case of Tooloom, the first drilling since the entry of
Newmont, is scheduled to commence in April, so we could
expect to see some assay results from that around the end
of May. In North-West Queensland we can’t expect much
news until May or June, given that access will only be
possible after about April. And then closer to home, we’ll
have the results of the bulk sampling and trial processing
for tin and tungsten at Sheep Station Hill by the end of
April or early May. So those are the key things to look for.
As I said, it’s going to be a very busy period but fortunately
we have two new geologists coming on board in the next
few weeks, and we seem to be in a pretty good position
with regard to the availability of drill rigs. So I guess at this
stage you could say the Quarterly Report for the June
quarter this year looks like being a bumper issue.

    Brendan Fitzpatrick – Resources Analyst
    Thank you Dr Lowder.

    Grüße
    Tschonko

    MALACHITE RESOURCES NL – MAR.AX - WKN: 779197

    http://www.malachite.com.au

ca 12 Mille € MC: siehe Übersicht unten.

    Übersicht: http://www.malachite.com.au/html/about_malachite.htm

MALACHITE HAS FOUR KEY PROJECTS ...
Tooloom Gold Project, where Newmont is spending up to $5 million to farm in

Conrad Silver Project, wholly owned, comprising multiple high grade silver-base metal lodes

Mt Isa Region Copper Project, where drilling has intersected high grade copper-gold mineralisation at two prospects

Elsmore Tin/Tungsten Project, tin and tungsten in hard rock greisen and alluvial deposits

    BUSINESS PLAN
Malachite is an ASX listed Australian resources company whose primary aim is to create shareholder wealth by the discovery of a world class ore deposit.
As a specialist explorer the Company is focussing its efforts on the steepest part of the mining industry value curve – the discovery phase (see diagram below). Success with this primary objective would provide significant leverage for Malachite and allow the Company to continue to focus on its strength – exploration for major ore deposits in eastern Australia. Once an ore body has been found by the Company, a joint venture or similar relationship would be formed with a larger mining company that has the expertise to conduct a feasibility study and the technical and financial capacity to develop and operate a mine (e.g. the Newmont farm in at Tooloom).
Malachite has a secondary aim which is pursued in parallel with its primary objective. This is to discover a smaller ore deposit that is amenable to rapid evaluation, permitting and development, allowing the Company to generate a cash flow. Development and mining of such a deposit is more likely to be within the Company’s technical and financial capacity, although a joint venture structure is also possible. The cash flow generated would be used to fund future growth and finance the Company’s primary objective, at the same time minimising the need for new capital issues and dilution of existing shareholders.
In the longer term, Malachite envisages paying dividends to its shareholders and as its corporate expertise grows, it may be able to take on the development and operation of larger projects in its own right.
Exploration emphasis is placed on gold, silver and copper deposits. Deposits targeted for gold and silver are those associated with intrusive rocks within the fold belts of eastern Australia (e.g. Tooloom, where the target is intrusion-related gold deposits of “Alaskan” type, and Conrad, where the silver target lies within a well mineralised granite province). For copper the main target area is the world class Mount Isa copper province in northwest Queensland.
Tin and tungsten deposits are also of interest, especially in northern NSW where the Company is already active in relation to gold and silver. This region is a major historic producer of tin and tungsten and the Company believes there is excellent scope to identify a small resource that could be developed quickly and cheaply to generate cash flow.
Many of the Company’s projects are essentially polymetallic in nature, where gold, silver or copper occur with one or more of tin, tungsten, molybdenum, antimony, lead and zinc. In these cases a significant part of the value may reside in metals other than gold or silver (e.g. Conrad Silver Project).
It is the company's intention to remain unhedged to the fullest extent possible, so as to retain maximum leverage to the prices of gold, silver and copper.
A key strategy with which Malachite is implementing its business plan is the concept of “strategic alliance”, whereby the Company forms business links with other mining companies that offer technical, financial or mineral resources complimentary to Malachite’s. The Company currently enjoys such a relationship with Macmin Silver Limited and Straits Resources Limited, both listed Australian mining companies with interests in the same metals and regions as Malachite. Macmin and Straits are both shareholders in Malachite Resources and a Malachite holds shares in Macmin. Malachite’s managing director serves on the boards of both Macmin and Straits, while Macmin’s managing director serves on the Malachite board.

    Aus US Board:

As their standard modus operandi ... our boys running GGI are on top of state of art performing exploration technologies.

GGI has announced a major HyperSpectral aero scan of their properties with HyVista of Australia. HyVista works on a long lead time, so
GGI started on this project several months ago. More importantly, is the detail of mineralization identification that is obtained through the technology. I understand each pixel in the scan is equal to approx. 1 sq. meter. No shortage of data to be analyzed obtained through the scan of 3500 sq. km.

Further, for this HyperSpectral scan to be effective, it helps if a lot of foliage doesn't get in the way. In Mexico, there are about 2 mos. per year where it gets very hot and all foliage goes dormant. This is the opportune time to perform the flyover scan so you can see why its particularly important to schedule the high-demand services of HyVista well in advance.

You can learn more about this state of art technology at http://HyVista.com

HyVista has few competitors ... but I found excellent slide presentations at http://EarthSearch.com Look for the presentation made by Dr. Joe Zamudio, one of the originators of HyperSpectral imaging.

Imagine 3500 sq. km ... where to begin ... where to begin?

HyperSpectral imaging has been used by other mining firms with great success ... when the field geologists arrived at the ground sites ... they found exactly what the HyperSpectral images indicated.

Expensive? Yes ... but not if it saves many years of traditional exploration by foot and burro.

I don't know about you ... but I call this "working smart ... not hard" ... although I don't want to slight the amount of effort that will go into this scanning and interpretation.

Our patience with GGI will be rewarded!

Garibaldi Teams Up With MacDonald Dettwiler and Hyvista to Conduct Hyperspectral Air Survey Over Mexican Concessions
Thursday March 22, 9:00 am ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 22, 2007 -- Garibaldi Resources Corp. (the "Company") (CDNX:GGI.V - News) is pleased to announce it has entered into contracts with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. of Richmond, B.C. and HyVista Corporation Pty. Ltd. of Sydney, Australia to conduct a fixed wing hyperspectral air survey over the Company's 3500 sq. kms of mining concessions in Mexico's Sierra Madre. All of Garibaldi's concessions cover historic precious metal occurrences and extensive areas of alteration typical of epithermal systems defined throughout the Sierra Madre which the Company has been evaluating since mid 2005.

With one of the largest land packages in the prolific Sierra Madre Mineral Belt, Garibaldi is implementing a cost effective, value added strategy, by employing state of the art technology, to more efficiently prioritize areas of interest and identify new exploration targets for drill testing. This more economic approach to exploring such a vast concession area is made viable with advances in hyperspectral and GPS technology combined with proof of concept trials on Garibaldi's first project at Morelos. The survey is scheduled to be completed in May.

About Hyperspectral: A major advance in remote sensing, imaging spectroscopy allows a special detector system to gather reflected radiation from a ground target in a digital format which is then processed to identify unique spectral features. In essence, this procedure identifies a naturally occurring bar code. No two minerals display the same arrangement of unique spectra in the exact same manner.

About Garibaldi Resources Corp.: Garibaldi Resources Corp. is a next-generation exploration company utilizing newly emerging technology to generate acquisition targets in large under-explored historic mining districts in Mexico's Sierra Madres near recent discoveries which demonstrate the potential that vein systems exploited by early miners were the expression of much larger gold and silver deposits.

About MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.: MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. provides advanced information solutions that capture and process vast amounts of data, produce essential information and improve the decision making and operational performance of business and government organizations worldwide. Their common shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol TSX:MDA.

About HyVista Corporation: HyVista Corporation is a global leader of airborne hyperspectral remote sensing data and information products, and developer of the renowned HyMap Hyperspectral Sensor.

Alexis Deep Drilling Confirms Significant Depth Potential at Lac Herbin: 15.25 Grams Gold Per Tonne Over 7.2 M Intersected (0.44 Ounces Gold Per Ton Over 23.6 Feet)
Thursday March 22, 7:30 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2007) - Alexis Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:AMC - News) is pleased to announce very encouraging results from recent deep drilling on the main Lac Herbin gold deposit. Nine (9) additional holes (3,300m) have confirmed the continuous extension of ore grade mineralization down to the 500-metre level. New intersections include 15.25 grams gold per tonne (g Au/t) over 7.2 m (0.44 oz. Au/ton over 23.6 feet) and 17.19 g Au/t over 2.7 m (0.50 oz. Au/ton over 8.9 feet). The drilling confirms excellent continuity between previously reported Measured and Indicated Resources on the main gold zone (S1 Zone, see Press Release: January 11, 2007) to the deepest intersection in the Deposit to date at the 500 m level (Hole AMAR-67: 8.8 g Au/t over 2.4 m). Mineralization at the 500-metre level has a minimum strike length of 250 metres and remains completely open to depth and to the East, Figure 1.

"Drilling has verified the excellent depth continuation to gold mineralization at the Lac Herbin deposit and significantly expands the Resource potential," said David Rigg, President and CEO of Alexis Minerals. "We appear to be tapping into just the upper part of a large and deep ore system that extends well below the deepest mineralization ever intersected or mined at the adjacent Ferderber and Dumont Mines. The potential for further expansion to depth of known mineralization, new discoveries and for resulting long-term growth in resources is excellent. We consider Lac Herbin to have the potential to be one of the larger deposits in the 15 million ounce Val d'Or Gold Mining District."

Peru's Hochschild to boost silver output to 50 million oz by 2011

    Lima, Peru (Platts)--5Mar2007
Goldsilver producer Hochschild Mining plans to use nearly $400 million raised in international capital markets to further develop existing mines and advance new projects to boost output to 50 million silver equivalent oz by 2011, a company official said.

Lima-based Hochschild raised 270 million ($531.6 million) in November
through an International Public Offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange.

Hochschild operates three underground silver mines in Peru's southern Andes: Ares, Arcata and Selene. The three mines produced 11.6 million oz of silver in 2006, up 10.5% from 2005. Gold output in 2006 was 196,000 oz, down 15.5% from a year earlier on a lower ore grade at Ares.

"We plan to use $140 million from the IPO to maximize potential at our
existing operations by developing existing vein systems, exploring further and expanding plant capacity," Hochschild Mining general manager Miguel Aramburu said in a written response to questions from Platts.

Arcata's plant treatment capacity will be expanded to 420,000 mt/year
from the current 353,000 mt. An expansion is also planned at Selene to double plant treatment capacity to 700,000 mt/year. Both expansions are due to be completed this year. An expansion at the Ares processing plant to 325,000 mt/year was completed in late 2006. Ares, Arcata and Selene have 9 million 14 million and 10 million oz of silver reserves respectively.

Aramburu declined to give projections for Hochschild's 2007 output.
Hochschild plans to use another $250 million from the IPO to further expand two advanced-stage development projects, San Jose and Pallancata, and bring two early-stage development projects, San Felipe and Moris, into production, Aramburu said.

Tom Szabo zu SLW am 16.3.:

    Silver Wheaton Revisited

Before wrapping up for the week, here is my reply to some observations made recently by Sufiy in Silver Wheaton: Propelled by the Subprime Meltdown:

I humbly beg to differ with the statement "There is no specific mining risk connected to this company", on the basis that Silver Wheaton acquires its silver from MINES and if any of them experience production woes, that will affect SLW as well.

Also, to the extent a mining company counterparty is unable to make mitigating compensation in lieu of silver deliveries required under the contract (e.g., the miner becomes insolvent), SLW has credit risk.

Furthermore, many investors fail to consider the upfront portion that SLW expends (cash and shares) to obtain these fixed price silver purchase agreements. In point of fact, SLW should be evaluated purely on the basis of NPV (Black-Scholes in particular) and not P/E or other multiples which might imply that the business model is anything other than an engineered leverage to silver prices (I'm ignoring the recent forays into speculating on junior explorers). All pure royalty companies should be evaluated in the same way as well.

I personally haven't found the time to construct the option models to do this but I'm fairly certain it would be a great way to determine at a specific point in time whether or not SLW is overvalued or undervalued vs. silver prices. Ideally, this model would allow each trader or investor to use discount and volatility rates commensurate with his or her personal assessment of mining risk and future silver prices, respectively. I would be willing to pay for such a tool either as a potential or current shareholder of SLW (and any of the growing legion of royalty companies out there).

    @alle,

    @emo,

Boltz really impresses me. He is building his Company the right way. There are many junior companies that trade only in the pink sheets and get their first actual listing on the Frankfurt Exchange. Caveat emptor, "Let the Buyer Beware", of any company that can’t even muster a TSE Venture listing. Boltz wants to quickly move EXMIN from the Venture to the Toronto Exchange and pave the way for an Amex listing. He knows how a stock traded in the Pink Sheets/Frankfurt Exchange can be manipulated and he does not want that for his shareholders. I applaud that restraint.

(TSX-Venture: BHV) ("Bellhaven" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Cabo Drilling Corp. (TSX-V: CBE - News; Cabo) of Vancouver to undertake a 5,000 meter drill program at Bellhaven's Cerro Chorcha and Rio Liri properties located in the Republic of Panama. A minimum drill program of 3,000 meters will be conducted at Cerro Chorcha, with 2,000 meters to be conducted at Rio Liri.

The program will include three phases. The first 1,500 meters will test for extensions of the copper-gold porphyry system at Cerro Chorcha. The drill will then move to Rio Liri to conduct 2,000 meters that will test a newly discovered quartz vein stockwork for additional gold mineralization. After Rio Liri the drill will return to Cerro Chorcha for an additional 1,500 meters of drilling.

Bellhaven's Vice President of Operations, Alfredo Burgos, has this to say of the agreement:

"We now have evidence suggesting that mineralization at Cerro Chorcha and Rio Liri may be more extensive than initial data indicated -- the recent trenching and surface sampling at Cerro Chorcha has inspired us to create a new model which we are anxious to test. Likewise, we have uncovered interesting evidence at Rio Liri suggesting the possibility of additional, higher-grade, gold mineralization. This drill campaign will help us to expose the true potential of these properties, and develop a model that more clearly reflects the anatomy of each resource."

Cabo's newly purchased drill will be mobilized to Panama during the month of March, and should be on site at the recently constructed Cerro Chorcha camp by mid-April, 2007. It is expected that the first phase of drilling at Cerro Chorcha will be completed by June of this year, and then the drill will be moved to the Rio Liri project to test additional targets. "We have great confidence in John Versfelt and his team at Cabo Drilling Corp," said Julio Benedetti, President and CEO of Bellhaven, "we are confident that Cabo will deliver the highest level of professionalism and expertise."
Bellhaven signed a definitive Exploration and Development Agreement for the Cerro Chorcha Project with Empire Minerals Corp. (OTC: EMPL - News) last week at the PDAC as announced on March 7, 2007. Under the terms of the agreement Empire has the option to acquire 65% of Cuprum Resources Corporation (previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Bellhaven Copper & Gold) and thus acquire a 65% interest in the Cerro Chorcha Copper Property.

Previous drilling on the Cerro Chorcha project has produced a 43-101 compliant inferred resources of 134.9 million tons of 0.48% copper. This new drilling will serve to improve on the grade and tonnage of the deposit. On February 21st Bellhaven released sample results from newly uncovered surface areas of gold mineralization within Northeast and North-South striking quartz-magnetite stockwork zones within the property that included 94m of 1.03 g/t Au and 64m of 1.45 g/t Au respectively. We hope to intersect these rich stockwork zones at depth and continue drilling in areas where much of the previous drilling terminated within ore grade copper mineralization.

    Hallo emoba,
