1. Good question. BTW, "small cap" and Silver Valley mining stocks are pretty much synonymous.
I like the outfit DeMotte has put together, in exploration and development deals with some of Magnuson's companies. These would include Merger, Mineral Mountain, Metropolitan, Silver Buckle, with Sterling being kind of the mother ship. These combined are about as pure a call option play as you can make in silver. They trade thinly (Sterling's the exception at about 25k shares/day) and move like lightning when the market heats up -- sink just as fast, of course, so keep an eye on them.
