• First significant intercepts from reconnaissance greenfield diamond drilling of the Big Pond Area indicates potential for structurally controlled gold mineralisation:
- 1 metre at 6.7 g/t Au and 1 metre at 1.9 g/t Au (CRD296)
- 3 metres at 2.8 g/t Au and 3 metres at 2.1 g/t Au and 1 metre @ 2.3 g/t Au (CRD288)
• WGH Mineral Resource Infill drilling: 1 metre at 12.8 g/t Au and 9 metres at 1.1 g/t Au (CRD226)
• WGHG Margin: 2 metres at 5.6 g/t Au (CRD287), 1.2 metres at 6.7 g/t Au (CRD289), 4.2 metres at 2.1 g/t Au and 2 metres at 2.3 g/t Au (CRD291)
• Assays are pending for 31 diamond holes (4,241 metres) across four target areas

Die Ergebnisse sind nicht überragend und das Sentiment ist schlecht, dann noch tax loss silly season... So ist das Geschäft bei den Explorern. Das Gute ist, dass es irgendwann dann auch schnell in die andere Richtung gehen kann.

"Huge upside at WGHG target"
Our Exploration Manager Warren Potma talks here with Bill Powers on the huge upside at Window Glass Hill Granite saying that success in 2022 would be "significant growth in the WGHG-hosted resources".
Executive Chair Ian Murray also told Bill: “The opportunity presented by the large WGHG system to support significant mineral resource growth within a stone’s-throw of the proposed processing facility at Central Zone is extremely exciting. To find that the WGHG extends a further three kilometres to the north-east, immediately adjacent to the existing 519Koz Au Central Zone Mineral Resource, in an area almost completely devoid of previous drilling, represents a great opportunity for Matador to test through 2022."
Ian continued: "Matador will dedicate at least one diamond drill rig throughout the 2022 summer drilling season aiming to grow the WGHG-hosted resources footprint and continue to make new discoveries across the 85% of WGHG area and granite contact zones that are still to be effectively drill tested. • Holes drilled at the periphery of the resource returned better than expected mineralised intercepts, highlighting the potential for further lateral growth of the WGH Mineral Resource

• CRD315: 17 metres at 0.9 g/t Au from 7 metres and 5 metres at 1.1 g/t Au from 100 metres

• Winter drilling is progressing well at PW-East, currently focused on testing the newly identified threekilometre north-eastern extension of the Window Glass Hill Granite (“WGHG”) immediately north of, and parallel to, the 526,000 oz Central Zone Mineral Resources
• Assays from 25 diamond holes from the 2021 program are expected in coming week
Our Executive Chair, Ian Murray, sat down for a discussion with Samso to talk about the progress Matador has made since Exploration Geologist, Warren Potma, spoke with Samso, as well as highlighting what investors can expect to see in the future. Samso said:
"The conversation we had today over our coffee was a really insightful one. Ian painted a clear backdrop of what has happened since I last spoke with Matador, what will happen, and what could happen next. What I liked was that this conversation was not a promotive one, it's not a blue-sky-style conversation, but a factual commentary. When I look at Matador and their projects, with the market capitalisation of just under $A64M, I can't help but think that it is not valued appropriately. They already have a 2g/t resource of 840K ounces and a project that is striking 120km. There is a great disconnect in that picture, in my opinion."

- 14 metres at 4.5 g/t Au from 88 metres (incl. 1 metre at 27.4 g/t Au from 90 metres and 1 metre at 17 g/t Au from 91 metres)
- 15 metres at 2.9 g/t Au from 10 metres (incl. 1 metre at 24.1 g/t Au from 18 metres) and
- 1 metre at 3.5 g/t Au from 72 metres
• CRD322 (WGH-Infill):
- 23 metres at 2.3 g/t Au from 22 metres (incl. 1 metre at 16.6 g/t Au from 38 metres) and
- 7 metres at 0.9 g/t Au from 78 metres (incl. 1 metre at 2.1 g/t Au from 84 metres)
• Gold mineralisation remains open to the south and south-west of the WGH-Infill high-grade mineralisation intersected in CRD322
• CRD313 (WGHG-HSP): 0.9 metres at 13.2 g/t Au from 9.4 metres
• CRD313 demonstrates near-surface gold potential of the previously undrilled WGHG Heart Shaped Pond (“HSP”) target adjacent to existing WGH Mineral Resource.
