TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / July 10, 2023 / Cerrado Gold Inc. [TSX.V:CERT][OTCQX:CRDOF] ("Cerrado" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has poured its first gold from its new heap leach gold production project at the Las Calandrias area in Argentina. Mining and stacking operations are at planned capacity, and gold production is expected to steadily increase as the retention period for the stacked ore is reached, allowing the project to reach design capacity during the third quarter of this year.

The Company also wishes to report it is in the final stages of completing its Feasibility Study for Serra Alta deposit at the Monte Do Carmo ("MDC") project in Tocantins, Brazil. Together with its consultants, the project team are conducting final optimizations, design trade offs and sequencing of the mine plan and we expect to complete the feasibility shortly.

•High grade gold and copper intersections continue to be returned from the RNW Lower Zone with maintained high Zn, Pb, Ag grades including,5.50m at 1,326.9g/t AgEq or 42.66% ZnEq containing 389.8g/t Ag, 10.17% Zn, 9.02% Pb, 4.93g/t Au, 1.73% Cu, <1.0% BaSO4 and 0.08% Sb in hole BR-28-23.
•Infill drilling of RNW Main Zone successfully maintains equivalent grades and widths in-between originally drilled holes e.g., 23.40m at 767.2g/t AgEq, 24.66% ZnEq including 253.4g/t Ag, 9.60% Zn,5.20% Pb, 0.90g/t Au, 0.43% Cu, 30.3% BaSO4, 0.08% Sb in hole BR-29A-23.
•Exploration drilling will continue post the release of the 2023 Rupice and RNW resource estimate. Extension of RNW Main and Lower Zones will continue westwards and to the southeast towards Rupice.
•Focus on Rupice Main returns with the staged relocation of drillrigs from RNW to Rupice to test for near-surface extensions (up-dip) of Rupice as of July.

Marathon Gold Provides Second Quarter 2023 Construction Report

Two full quarters of construction have now been completed at the Project since major mobilization commenced in January 2023. During June 2023, the Project exceeded 500,000 hours of site work completed without a lost time incident. At the end of the second quarter, overall completion at the Project stood at 35%, with engineering at 87%, procurement at 60%, and construction at 15%. The Project remains on track for first gold production in the first quarter of 2025. Currently, 454 Marathon employees and contractors are employed or providing services to the Project, 80% of whom are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Adriatic Metals PLC (LSE:ADT1, ASX:ADT, OTCQX:ADMLF) has unveiled encouraging results from its ongoing exploration at Rupice Northwest (RNW), part of the Vares project in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The westward exploration of RNW has revealed high-grade extensions of silver (Ag), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), gold (Au), and copper (Cu), surpassing the projections of the July 2023 Rupice Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).
Further enhancing the site's potential, structural analyses have identified faulting and folding at RNW's western boundary. This geological development has led to a vertically continuous domain of thickened high-grade mineralisation.
One of the standout results from the exploration includes a 33.4-metre (m) stretch from RNW's step-out drilling to the west, showing an impressive 1,197 grammes per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent (AgEq) or 38.5% zinc equivalent (ZnEq).
This segment alone comprises 409g/t Ag, 11.7% Zn, 8.9% Pb, 2.6g/t Au, 1.2% Cu, 9% barium sulphate (BaSO4), and 0.2% antimony (Sb) in the BR-30-23 hole.
Moreover, the RNW extension of the Main Zone has recorded a 15.2m segment at 1,502g/t AgEq, 48.3% ZnEq. This includes 499g/t Ag, 7.7% Zn, 13.9% Pb, 4.2g/t Au, 2.2% Cu, 24.6% BaSO4, and 0.3% Sb in the BR-36-23 hole. A subsection of this, measuring 9.2m, registered an even higher 2,269g/t AgEq, 73% ZnEq.
