    Iran says they have 70,000 suicide bombers ready to strike Israel

    More than 70,000 Iranian student volunteers have registered to carry out suicide bombings against Israel because of Israel's assault on the Gaza Strip.


    According to the official IRNA news agency, hardline student leader Esmaeil Ahmadi says the students want to fight Israel in support of Hamas - Gaza's Islamic militant rulers.


    Five hard-line student groups and a conservative clerical group launched a registration drive last week to ask the government to allow them to stage the suicide attacks.


    President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government has not responded to the call yet.


    The government never responded to similar requests in the past. This raises the likelihood that the calls are mainly for propaganda purposes.

    Mossad warnt vor zweiter Front durch Hisbollah-Angriff


    Der Chef des israelischen Auslandsgeheimdiensts Mossad, Amos Jadlin, warnte unterdessen vor einem Angriff der libanesischen Schiitenmiliz Hisbollah an der Grenze zu Israel. Der Armeerundfunk zitierte den Mossad-Chef mit den Worten, die proiranische Hisbollah könne im Norden Israels eine „zweite Front“ eröffnen.

    Glaube kaum, dass das den Preisverfall im Immobilienmarkt aufhalten wird. Bei einem Hypothekenmarkt von $15 Billionen und 20% Preisverfall allein in einem Jahr kann man sich ueber die Wirkung einer solchen Massnahme streiten. Es werden lediglich die Haerten (Foreclosure) etwas abgefangen und die Korrektur wird damit letztendlich nur verzoegert.

    Die Golfstaaten haben sich nach Angaben des Kooperationsrates GCC auf die Einführung einer gemeinsamen Währung geeinigt. Saudi-Arabien, die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, Kuwait, Katar, Oman und Bahrain hätten der Währungsunion zugestimmt, sagte der stellvertretende GCC-Geschäftsführer Nasser al-Kaud am Dienstag.     Behaupte ich auch nicht. Stattdessen geht mir die Pauschalisierung mit "den Moslems", "den Juden" etc. auf die Nerven. Hier wird darauf losgepostet, ohne sich mit der Geschichte des Judentums, der Entstehung der Hamas und vor allem mit den Geldgebern auseinander zu setzen.


    ...und ein 2-Gramm-Mitglied sollte erstmal sein Wissen hier unter Beweis stellen!
