Fekete hat recht, wenn Sprott nur Papier hat, aber kein Silber. Ist das so? Sprott betont ja gerade den Kauf von physischem Silber. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Fonds. Ob das stimmt wird die Geschichte zeigen. Oder der Wirtschaftsprüfer, ich denke mal der Fond wird einer unabhängigen jährlichen Prüfung unterliegen.

Und wie ist das wenn ich Silber kaufe? Zahle ich dann einen Aufpreis auf den POS? - Sehen wir mal nach.
Coininvest 15:50 Uhr, POS bei 41,92 $ die Unze Philharmoniker 48,39. Das heisst, die verlangen einen Aufpreis von 6,47 $ für die Unze bei physischem Kauf.
Sprott verlangt einen Aufpreis von 1,88 $, bei, wie er, sagt physischem Kauf. Fekete wirft ihm vor, dass er einen Aufpreis verlangt und verweist darauf, dass 1,88 $ die oz viel zu hoch sei. Mhmmmm.

3. "Sprott kaufe dann, wenn der POS am höchsten steht"
Woher wusste der Sprott denn, dass es zu diesem Zeitpunkt am höchsten stehen würde? Hätte er den Fekete fragen sollen? - Hätte Fekete gesagt, der Preis ist jetzt ganz oben? Kaufe später? - Nein, sicher nicht, dann erstens hat Fekete keine Glaskugel, zum zweiten weist die von Fekete benutzte Gegenüberstellung des Gold/Silber Ratio's einen Höchststand nicht aus. Erst wenn Fekete die Werte von 2012, 2013 usw eintragen kann, dann weiss er ob 30 ein High war, vorher nicht. Ausserdem kann der physische Kauf des Silbers durch den Fond, der Preistreiber gewesen sein. Wenn es so war, dann liegt Sprott mit seiner Aussage : Physisches Silber ist knapp, aber sehr richtig. Denn sein Fonds wäre ja ein Fliegenschiss, wären alle andern Silbergeschäfte physisch hinterlegt bzw. bei Bedarf einfach hinterlegbar.

Habe mal ein Interview von Sprott gesehen, in dem er sich aufgeregt hat, dass seine im Nov für seinen ETF bestellten Silberunzen für 60 mio Dollares die ltzt. Charge erst im darauffolgenden Mai geliefert wurden....

...im gegensatz zu den amerik. Papiersilberanbietern traue ich dem in Kanada stationierten Sprott, auch wenn ich pers. bei meinen kleinen Vermögen lieber alles physisch halte. Für sehr vermögende Anleger mag Sprott eine Alternative sein - nicht alle haben ein schön großes Verlies wie Misan.

Natürlich muss man immer im Hinterkopf behalten, dass Sprott Papiersilberverkäufer ist als auch ein Bullion-Händler physischer Ware ist, der glaube ich von seiner Tochter geführt wird....

So einer redet natürlich nie im Leben negativ über Ag

RCMP meets with Silvercorp Metals about share-shocking letter

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has joined the hunt for more
information about the identity of a hard-hitting but anonymous short seller who
according to Silvercorp made false claims in a letter.

The RCMP said Thursday that it met with Silvercorp Metals (TSX: SVM), looking
into the silver miner's complaint that last week an anonymous letter writer, who
held a short position in the company's stock, falsely called into question its
earnings.

Silvercorp said Friday last week that the masked short seller alleged - on
the basis of bogus documents - the silver miner had lost $500,000 in 2010,
whereas Silvercorp publicly reported a $66 million profit.

Little is known about the identity of the Silvercorp short-seller whose
claims Rui Feng, Silvercorp's president and CEO, called baseless.

Russell said that a special committee Silvercorp struck in the aftermath of
the bombastic announcement was exploring options as to how to identify and then
take to task the letter writer. If, as claimed, the anonymous letter writer held
a short position in Silvercorp, that person could have profited handsomely as

Is This Silver Miner Cooking the Books?

Last week, Silvercorp Metals Inc. announced some startling news. The Chinese
and Canadian miner was being accused of a $1.3 billion accounting fraud by an
anonymous letter. The letter, which was spread by email, claims Silvercorp
reported a profit in 2010 to the SEC in the United States, but reported a loss
to regulators in China. Silvercorp shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange
plummeted 16% on the news. The author of the letter also wrote that he had
taken a large short position in the company. Silvercorp has since denied the
allegations and even provided tax and other financial documents related to its
Chinese silver mining operations to prove the allegations false. The company
did acknowledge that short positions in its stock increased to 23 million shares
over the past two months.

Although the Canadian federal police have contacted the company to offer help
in finding the anonymous author, the company appears to be defending itself
quite well. In addition to posting documentation the shows the miner reporting
profits in its Chinese subsidiaries, the company also offers proof to its cash
position. In response to the allegation that the company’s cash balances are
overstated, Silvercorp posted 67 pages of bank statements and documents
detailing its short-term investments and cash positions to the tune of $221.3
million. The company also has no long-term debt. In the end, shareholders will
have to decide for themselves if Silvercorp belongs in their portfolio. Last
week, shares hit a low of $7.04, but closed at $9.07 on yesterday, representing
a 29% increase.

on Friday became the latest China-focused resource company listed in North
America to get caught up in fraud allegations reminiscent of those that have
upended Sino-Forest (TRE.TO).

Silvercorp said the central allegation in the letter was that it had reported
a net profit in 2010 to North American regulators, while reporting a net loss to
Chinese regulator.

The letter also states that the company's statements about the grade its ore
deposits were simply "too good to be true" compared with those of comparable
companies.

Silvercorp, which flatly denied both allegations, said it had noticed a sharp
increase in short positions taken out on its shares over the last two months.

Short-sellers such as Carson Block, whose research report led to a 75 percent
drop in Sino-Forest, profit by borrowing shares they believe will drop, selling
them and then repaying them later at a lower price - pocketing the difference.

SLAMS ALLEGATIONS

Silvercorp said the letter, dated Aug. 29, was addressed to the Ontario
Securities Commission, the company's auditors and various media outlets. The
company said the letter alleged an accounting fraud at the company.

The unknown author also stated that his firm held a short position in the
company's shares and it intended to publicize its concerns through Internet
postings, Silvercorp said in its release.

Silvercorp said it had not confirmed whether the letter had been sent to all
the addressees or posted online. Given the threat, the company said it had
chosen to proactively respond to the allegations.

Silvercorp has appointed a panel of independent directors to work with
regulators to discover the identity of the party behind the allegations.

tubes. Nonetheless, in multivariate sensitivity analyses, the silver coated
endotracheal tubes yielded persistent savings (95% confidence interval,
$9,630–$16,356) per case of VAP prevented. With other base case inputs held
constant, break even cost for silver coated endotracheal tubes was $388

Conclusions.The silver-coated
endotracheal tube represents a strategy for preventing VAP that may yield
hospital savings.

Silber bekommt ja heute ordentlich eins aufs Dach. Der DAX lässt schön grüssen.

Wo liegen noch die Unterstützungslinien? Ich erinnere mich an 33$ bzw 34$? War nicht auch eine bei 38$?

Tja, bei mir liegt die Unterstützungslinie bei etwa 12,50 Euro. Die Vergangenheit hat gezeigt das die Gedenkzehner in 925 Silber kaum darunter fallen. Egal wohin der Spot noch fällt. Von demher sehe ich das Ganze gelassen und sollte denen vielleicht zu denken geben die nicht bereit sind den Silberspot für die Zehner zu zahlen aber für eine Lunar gerne mal 30% und mehr Aufschlag zahlen. Witzigerweise hat hier Sicherheit NICHT seinen Preis.

Verkaufe auch NIX - net eeinne Unz!

Abba leider hab ich auch schon recht lange kein FIAT mehr zum Nachkaufen - starre seit fast einem Jahr nur auf diese ständig steigende Vola....

Egal, solls halt 30-40% schwanken - der langfristige Aufwärtstrend ist in Takt und wird in Takt bleiben.

Interessant heute, dass bei westgold die physische Unze seit heute morgen noch nicht mal -2% runter gegangen ist, obwohl der Ag-Spot über 6% eins auf die Mütze bekommen hat..... ...bei proaurum ist der Phili fast 1 Euron preiswertert als bei westgold - die haben schon immer schneller nach unten angepasst. Bleibt der Ag-Kurs auf jetzigem Niveau, so wird westgold bis morgen den Phili-Preis sicher auch um -1 Euron nach unten anpassen....

Krass, wie das rumgetwistere von dem Bernanck sich auf die EM-Preise auswirkt.... da hat er gestern wirklich den großen Tomahawk rausgeholt und es dem Metall mal richtig gezeigt.... klar, dass der Staatsanleihentausch von kurz in lang den Dollar stark macht, aber das alles gleich so arg runterkracht?

Wie denn auch, wenn der Euro gleichzeitig abstürzt?

Andererseits kann ich mir schon vorstellen, dass es die nächsten Tage noch einige Dollar weiter nach unten geht. Dann sollte es auch mit den nachkaufkursen passen
