Hält jemand von euch UEX Aktien? Wie ist eure Meinung dazu? Projekte top, Management flop?

Last week, the Russian state’s news agency quoted comments made by the country’s deputy prime minister, Alexander Novak, who stated that Russia was considering imposing a ban on uranium exports. It is presumed that the potential ban on uranium is retaliation for President Joseph Biden’s decision to stop purchasing oil from Russia. While it isn’t clear whether the Eastern European country will implement the policy, following through on its threat would cause a significant increase in the price of uranium. Currently, Russia supplies more than 15% of the uranium that nuclear plants in America use to generate power.
In the United States, several GOP senators are calling for President Biden to cease the purchase of uranium from Russia and instead focus on domestic mines. States such as Wyoming hold considerable uranium deposits. However, low prices of uranium in the past and inactivity led to the closure of many of these mines. As a whole, America mines a minimal amount of the uranium used by its commercial nuclear plants annually. During the last six or so years, the production of uranium in the country has rapidly decreased, to a point so low that the Energy Information Administration doesn’t release figures for the total amount of uranium produced yearly anymore.

THE US CAN’T SEEM TO QUIT RUSSIAN URANIUM
Biden banned Russian fossil fuels, but uranium has been trickier to tackleWhenWhen the US cut itself off from Russian energy products, uranium was not on the list. President Joe Biden banned Russian oil, coal, and gas imports in March. The administration reportedly considered sanctioning Russia’s state-owned nuclear power company, Rosatom, too. But industry lobbying and Biden’s plans to include nuclear reactors in a transition to clean energy have left the uranium trade untouched.

LG
MioDas sehe ich auch so. Deswegen stört mich UEX so sehr.

U.S. Senators introduce bill to ban U.S. imports of Russian uranium
Zitat von ReutersWASHINGTON, March 17 (Reuters) - Republican U.S. Senators on Thursday introduced a bill to ban U.S. imports of Russian uranium to punish Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine.
The bill comes as the Biden administration has been weighing sanctions on Russian nuclear power company Rosatom, a major supplier of fuel and technology to power plants around the world.
The administration’s ban on U.S. imports of Russian energy, such as oil and liquefied natural gas, does not yet include uranium.
“While banning imports of Russian oil, gas and coal is an important step, it cannot be the last,” said Senator John Barrasso, who introduced the bill..........

Patience, Patience, Patience.

Lawmaker calls for adding uranium to list of banned Russian imports

welcher ist der größte Kontrahent von Kaza? Der dürfte am stärksten profitieren.
Das wäre dann Cameco. Künftige Alternativen kurzfristig im kleineren Maßstab sind wohl Global Atomic, Peninsula Energy, Energy Fuels, Lotus Resources danach auch Deep Yellow ab 2024. Wir werden sehen.
-

Sprott Physical #Uranium Trust appears to have issued 6.5 Million units via ATM block trades with an RBC client in the first 30 minutes of today's session, raising over C$96M (US$75 Million) to nearly double #SPUT's cash position to over US$150M today.
