    On October 23, 2007, the Board of Directors of Uranium Star Corp. (the "Company") determined to adjust the exercise price of certain options that were previously granted, such that the exercise price will be more closely aligned with recent trading prices for the Company's common stock.


    Pursuant to the Board's decision, all of the outstanding options that were formerly exercisable for 2,970,000 shares of common stock at a price of $1.24 per share, will now be exercisable at a price of $0.55 per share.


    The Board determined to make this adjustment to the exercise price of outstanding options so as to provide an incentive to holders of outstanding options to exercise those options, as well as to permit option-holders to participate in future increases in the Company's value (as compared to the Company's current value on a per share basis).

    URST hab ich nicht und nach dieser Mitteilung, die ich echt schon mehr als dreist bezeichnen würde, werde ich auch nie shares hiervon kaufen.....absolut unseriös...

    Bei URE mach ich mir keine Sorgen. hab die erste Position zu 3 CAD$ gekauft und hab noch ein Stinkbid im Markt. URE hat durch die letzte Finanzierung (insg. 82 Mio. CAD$, 4,75 je Aktie!) ca. 88 Mio. Cash in der Kasse, super Gebiete (Wyoming) und ein erstklassiges Management. Zum jetzigen Kurs würd ich aber auch ohne zu zögern kaufen, aber 1-2 Wochen versuch ich sie noch günstiger aufzustocken.

    Junior miner's discount deal sparks anger

    A $10-million private placement unveiled yesterday by MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. that involves some of the biggest names in mining has some investors fuming at the discount the new stakeholders received.


    The junior miner sold a total of 25-million units at 40¢ each to investors that included
    Sheldon Inwentash, chief executive of Pinetree Capital Ltd.; Robert McEwen, chief executive of US Gold Corp.; Pierre Lassonde, chairman of Franco-Nevada Corp.; and Randall Oliphant, chairman of Western Gold Fields Inc. The shares closed on the TSX Venture Exchange at 86¢ the day before the deal was announced.
    "This is craziness. Does Warren Buffett get a 50% discount when he buys companies?" asked one Bay Street money manager who holds a major stake in the company. "This deal should be repriced closer to market value."

    [miningmx.com] -- URANIUM One, the Toronto-listed uranium producer, confirmed it would cut its 2008 production forecast by up to 37% owing to commissioning problems at its operations in South Africa and Kazakhstan.


    "This is a worse case scenario," said Neal Froneman, president and CEO of Uranium One. "There are a number of solutions were working towards, principally to improve the acid supply which is the major issue."


    Uranium One shed 7.8% in early trade in Johannesburg and was last trading at R80.86/share. The announcement of lower than expected production was made after the markets closed in Toronto on October 30.

    Kann man so oder so sehen.
    Einerseits ärgerlich, schon 15% down in ffm.


    Andererseits aber ist die Acid Shortage ja anscheinend ein allgem. Problem in der Miningindustrie aufgrund des Commodity Booms.
    D.h. es wird auch wohl auch andere Minen treffen -> less Production -> less Supply @ same Demand = Rocket Prices for the Metall.


    Noch dazu Cameco´s Cigar Lake nicht vor 2011 !


    Ja wo soll denn das ganze Uran herkommen ??


    Werde wohl nochmals nachlegen bei UUU.

This license is the first stage of obtaining all necessary licenses and permits to enable the company to recover uranium via in situ recovery method at the Lost Creek project. The NRC has indicated that the application review process can take up to 18 months to complete.     Welche von den 74 Mio. Aktien wohl deine waren .. who knows :D
    Gekauft wurden jedenfalls alle und das zu sehr günstigem Preis.


    Und eines darf man ja auch nicht vergessen, 2.1 Mio lbs dieses Jahr und 4.6 Mio lbs in 08 ist immer noch ein Haufen Uran.


    Glück auf allen Yellow Cake´s, der Winter wird heiß. Shortage wohin man schaut.
    Preise von über 100$ das Pfund sollten bald wieder erreicht sein.
