    Ich habe zu MacMin einige Fragen:


    • Weiß jemand, wann MacMin genau die Produktion beginnt ? Ich habe bisher nur einige schwammige Aussagen (abhängig von der Silberpreisentwicklung ... ) gelesen.
    • Wenn ja, in welchem Umfang ist die Produktion geplant ?


    Bei MacMin stört mich etwas, dass mittlerweile über 465 Mio. Aktien ausgegeben wurden, was meiner Ansicht nach das Kurssteigerungspotential nach oben begrenzt.


    Andererseits hat MacMin nur über seine Silberbewertung derzeit eine Marktkapitalisierung von ca. 61 Mio. Dollar (470 Mio. Aktien x 0,13 Dollar), d.h. bei ca. 100 Mio. Reserven/Ressourcen (habe ich jetzt nicht genau getrennt), kommt man auf ca. 0,61 Dollar je Unze (bzw. 12,3 Unze je 1 Unze Marktkapitalisierung (Berechnung analog Hommel)). Die Goldressourcen/-reserven wurden hier noch nicht eingerechnet.


    Interessant ist MacMin, wenn es gelingt im Silberboom möglichst schnell die Produktion hochzufahren, die Gewinne einzustreichen und diese für die Erschließung weiterer Ressourcen/Reserven zu nutzen.

    habe inzwischen die Daten gefunden. Als Produktionsbeginn wurde Juni 2005 genannt. Sie sind gerade dabei die wesentliche Infrastruktur auszubauen (u.a. aus einer aktuellen Info von heute zu entnehmen).


    Die Produktion soll bei ca. 3 Mio. Unzen jährlich liegen, allerdings ist der Präsentation nicht zu entnehmen, ob dies sofort oder einer Ausbaustufe entspricht.

    Macmin Silver Ltd plans to bring a new silver mine into production in southern Queensland within six months.


    The new mine, Macmin’s first, is being developed at Twin Hills near the town of Texas, approximately 250kms south-west of Brisbane.


    In a Project Update issued today, Macmin Executive Chairman Bob McNeil said that the mine start-up would coincide with an expected further increase in the world silver price.


    Bob McNeil also commented: “While production costs are expected to make the operation consistently profitable at today’s silver price, the mine is highly leveraged to the price.


    Many analysts are forecasting a substantial rise in the price of silver within the next year. As a dedicated, single metal silver mine, Twin Hills has exceptional leverage to rising prices.

    • production of silver powder (98.5% silver) by a leaching and electrowinning process will commence in late 2005 at the rate of 2.5 million ounces (Moz) of contained silver a year


    • processing plant capacity of 3.5 Moz will allow for rapid expansion in a rising silver market


    • Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resources total 55 Moz silver equivalent


    • unit production costs are estimated to average A$5.80 oz for the first three years


    • while revenue would total some $40 million in the first three years at the current silver price of approximately A$10, revenues and margins are expected to increase significantly with the forecast price rise. Every one dollar increase in the silver price will add $2.5M to $3M to Macmin’s bottom line. The silver price could easily spike to A$15 to A$25 or higher in the near future.


    • simple, relatively easy and low cost mining/processing (open pit and heap leach)


    • close to transport, sealed roads and infrastructure at the town of Texas.


    Within six months, Twin Hills will lift Macmin from explorer into the ranks of substantial silver producer that is highly leveraged to the expected rise in the silver price.

    Neben New Guinea Gold hält Macmin noch eine Beteiligung an Malachite Resources.
    Da war ich 2004 einer der wenigen Käufer in D.


    Ja, Macmin hab ich auch, aber von der bin ich nicht mehr überzeugt, da ändert auch Bloom nichts.


    Malachite jedoch, da wart ich mit großer Geduld.

    Malachite ist auch mal über meine Watchlist gegeistert. Interessant wegen einiger Zinnprojekte und Zusammenarbeit mit BHP.


    Allerdings ist mir nicht so ganz klar was die mit ihren zahlreichen Lizenzen wirklich anstellen. Ein bischen Drillen da und dort. Und wenn sie einmal etwas finden, steht schon BHP bereit um den Laden zu schlucken. Gute oder schlechte Aussichten ??

    Das ist doch bestens, wenn BHP schon bereit steht.
    BHP schaut sich die JV-Gebiete schon gut an, nehme ich an.

    Soll sich hier ein bisserl ausrasten.


    Macmin steigt und fällt, eigentlich mehr fällt mit dem Silberpreis.
    Ich mag sie nimmer, weil sie ihre Projekte immer verzögern.
    Verkaufen tu ich sie auch noch nicht. Kleine Position.

    Ich habe meine Macmin vor geraumer Zeit mit mit a bisserl Gewinn rausgeschmissen und mit den freiwerdenden Mitteln MGN und FRS aufgestockt. Verfolge den Kursverlauf aber noch sporadisch.

    Macmin tut der hohe Silberpreis gut.
    Sind auf Roadshow in USA und Europa (München 18./19.

    MALACHITE EXPLORATION UPDATE:


    DRILLING AT FOUR PROSPECTS
    · New program of drilling underway at Phoenix
    · Further encouragement at Cheviot Hills – to be drilled in December
    · Drilling to commence at Pluton this week
    · Macmin to drill at Boonoo Boonoo later this month


    Malachite Resources NL (ASX: MAR) advises that a new program of drilling has commenced at the Tooloom Gold Project in northern NSW (see project location map below), comprising up to 4,000m of reverse circulation percussion (“RC”) and diamond drilling, initially at Phoenix
    and later at Cheviot Hills.


    At the Phoenix Gold Prospect, drilling is mainly targeting depth extensions of the goldantimony mineralisation discovered earlier in 2005. That mineralisation is hosted by a breccia pipe and previous drilling has tested it only to about 100m below surface. The new drilling will trace the mineralisation to about 300m below surface in the Breccia Zone and provide core for preliminary metallurgical studies. Elsewhere at Phoenix, one hole will test the Creek Zone at greater depth and two holes will be drilled into a mineralised shear zone first intersected by
    drilling conducted in 2004. Given continuing success at Phoenix, Malachite will seek to joint venture the prospect to a major gold company early in 2006, with a resource drill out as the prime objective.
    I
    n the Cheviot Hills area, located near the southern end of the Company’s Tooloom exploration licence, trenching and sampling of some of the gold-antimony veins recently investigated by the Company has provided further encouraging results. A strong analogy with Hillgrove is recognised and an initial RC drilling program will take place at Cheviot Hills following the work currently underway at Phoenix. Malachite believes there is excellent potential to delineate a small resource of high grade gold-antimony ore at Cheviot Hills and, if it is able to do so, it should then be possible to proceed rapidly to development and production of gold and antimony in synergy with Hillgrove.


    In north Queensland a rig has been sourced to conduct a first drilling program at the Company’s new Pluton Gold Prospect, where it is earning a 50% interest. Pluton is located about 20km southwest of Mareeba and the prospect comprises a breccia body with surface
    gold values up to about 10 g/t Au. The initial drilling is scheduled to commence on Thursday this week and will comprise approximately 500m of RC drilling in a number of holes in the central part of the breccia.
    At Boonoo Boonoo, near Tenterfield in northern NSW, the Company’s joint venture partner, Macmin Silver Limited, will undertake further drilling of gold/silver targets originally identified by Malachite, commencing later this month. Macmin will also drill at Rivertree early in the new year.

    Silber bei 8, da vermute ich schon, dass die ein bisserl steigen heut Nacht in AUS. Ich bin jetzt auch wieder ein bisserl vorn.
    Ist halt ein kleiner Silberopti.


    Man sieht´s heut wieder deutlich. Die großen wie CDE zischen ab.
    Eigentlich alle produzierer.
