    Als wie wenn ich es im Urin gespürt hätte, hab gestern Abend nochmal ca. 1k € in Silber investiert.

    Auf wikipedia ist noch der Link, der aber inzwischen ins Leere führt.
    Laut Wikipedia lagern in Fort Knox knapp 5000 t Gold der US Regierung, das vor allem aus dem Scrap Gold der Roosevelt Beschlagnahme stammte.


    Laut US Geological Survey wurden 2007 und 2008 etwa 5.000 Tonnen Gold aus den USA exportiert, vor allem scrap Gold.

    A large amount of the United States` gold reserves is stored in the vault of the Fort Knox Bullion Depository, one of the institutions under the supervision of the Director of the United States Mint. The remaining gold reserves are held in the Philadelphia Mint, the Denver Mint, the West Point Bullion Depository [eyeball below] and the San Francisco Assay Office, also facilities of the United States Mint.


    The Depository was completed in December 1936 at a cost of $560,000. It is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Louisville, Kentucky, on a site which was formerly a part of the Fort Knox military reservation. The first gold was moved to the Depository by railroad in January 1937. That series of shipments was completed in June 1937.


    The two-story basement and attic building is constructed of granite, steel and concrete. Its exterior dimensions measure 105 feet by 121 feet. Its height is 42 feet above ground level. The building`s construction was supervised by the Procurement Division of the Treasury Department, now the Public Buildings Administration of the General Services Administration. Upon its completion, the Depository was placed under the jurisdiction of the Director of the United States Mint.


    Within the building is a two level steel and concrete vault that is divided into compartments. The vault door weighs more than 20 tons. No one person is entrusted with the combination. Various members of the Depository staff must dial separate combinations known only to them. The vault casing is constructed of steel plates, steel I-beams and steel cylinders laced with hoop bands and encased in concrete. The vault roof is of similar construction and is independent of the Depository roof. Between the corridor encircling the vault and the outer wall of the building is space used for offices and storerooms.


    The outer wall of the Depository is constructed of granite lined with concrete. Construction materials used on the building included 16,500 cubic feet of granite, 4,200 cubic yards of concrete, 750 tons of reinforcing steel and 670 tons of structural steel.


    Over the marble entrance at the front of the building is the inscription "United States Depository" with the seal of the Department of the Treasury in gold. Offices of the Officer in Charge and the Captain of the Guard open upon the entrance lobby. At the rear of the building is another entrance used for receiving bullion and supplies.


    At each corner of the structure on the outside, but connected with it, are four guard boxes. Sentry boxes, similar to the guard boxes at the corners of the Depository, are located at the entrance gate. A driveway encircles the building and a steel fence marks the boundaries of the site.


    The building is equipped with the latest and most modern protective devices. The nearby Army Post provides additional protection. The Depository is equipped with its own emergency power plant, water system and other facilities. In the basement is a pistol range for use by the guards.


    The gold stored in the Depository is in the form of standard mint bars of almost pure gold or coin gold bars resulting from the melting of gold coins. These bars are about the size of an ordinary building brick, but are somewhat smaller. The approximate dimensions are 7 x 3-5/8 x 1-3/4 inches. The fine gold bars contain approximately 400 troy ounces of gold, worth $16,888.00 (based on the statutory price of $42.22 per ounce). The avoirdupois weight of the bars is about 27-1/2 pounds. They are stored in the vault compartments without wrappings. When the bars are handled, great care is exercised to avoid abrasion of the soft metal.


    The Depository is headed by an Officer in Charge, who is responsible for ensuring the security of the gold. The guard force is composed of men selected from various Government agencies, or recruited from Civil Service registers.

    Ich habe etwas herausgefunden, das bisher noch nirgendwo zu lesen war, deswegen poste ich es an mehreren Stellen in Forum.

    Vor ein paar tagen habe ich eine Nachricht im Netz gefunden, dass ein Researcher im offiziellen US geological survey gelesen hat, dass die USA in den Jahren 2007 und 2008
    Fast 5.000 metrische Tonnen Gold exportiert haben.
    Das wäre das doppelte der Weltfördermenge oder das 17 fache der gesamtem US Fördermenge.

    Das würde heißen, dass Fort Knox leer ist. Dort lagerten 5000 Tonnen Scrap Gold aus der Zeit der Rooseveltschen Beschlagnahmen.
    Es gab Gerüchte darüber, dass in Europa 90%iges Gold aus US Beständen aufgetaucht ist.

    Gerüchte hin oder her: keiner hat das gesehen und es gibt auch immer Wichtigtuer.

    Dazu kam der Fakt, dass die US Mint ausverkauft ist, da in den USA kein Gold mehr verfügbar ist und laut Gesetz für US Münzen nur US Gold verwendet werden darf.

    Die große Frage ist also nun:
    Sind die Statistiken des US geological Survey vielleicht falsch? Worauf basieren sie.
    Ich habe gesucht, ob ich eine zweite authentische Quelle finde, mit der man den 5000 Tonnen Gold export belegen, widerlegen oder plausibilieren kann.

    Ich habe sie hier gefunden:

    Es gibt zwei Posten über Gold export:

    Man kann erkennen, wie der Export ab 2005 ständig stieg und 2007 / 2008 dramatisch zunahm.
    Das Gold ist nicht in Tonnen oder Unzen, sondern in Millionen Dollar.


    Alleine 2007 und 2008 wurde Scrap Gold im Wert von 18 Mrd Dollar exportiert.


    Ich weis natürlich nicht, was eine Unze Scrap Gold wert ist.
    Es ist zu vermuten, dass es den Exporteuren nicht darum ging, besonders viel zu verdienen oder besonders aussagekräftige Statistiken zu erstellen:
    Falls das Scrap Gold durchschnittlich pro Unze 350 Dollar kostete, reden wir über 43 Mio Unzen, falles es durchschnittlich 550 Dollar kostete, reden wir über 27 Millionen unzen.

    In metrischen Tonnen bedeutet dass, je nach Annahme, dass über den Hafen von new york 840 Tonnen oder 1340 Tonnen exportiert wurden.

    Egal ob 840 Tonnen oder 1340 Tonnen: diese Dimensionen sind höher als dass, was in den USA an Gold gefördert wird. Das bedeutet vor allem eines: die offiziellen Top Down / Bottom up Schätzungen, die eine jährlichen Goldmarkt von 2.500 Tonnen Angebot und Nachfrage sehen, sind falsch.

    Die Gerüchte, dass die USA ihr Gold aus Fort Knox verbraucht haben, stimmen wohl.

    Möglichweise ist neben den beiden Goldpositionen auch die Position : jewelry eigentlich Gold export, denn dieser Bereich ist verdächtig hoch: 2007 und 2008 wurden über New York Jewelier-Waren über 7 Mrd Dollar exportiert.
    Im gleich Zeitraum wurden aluminiumteile für 1,2 Mrd, Prozessoren und Elektronikbauteile für 1,2 Mrd exportiert.

    Wer mag, kann sich die Statistik ansehen und gucken, ob ich irgendwo einen Denk- oder rechenfehler gemacht habe.
    Aber nach dem, was ich gesehen habe, hat Amerika 2007/2008 seinen Goldschatz exportiert.

    Mann muss kein Goldbug sein, um die Brisanz zu erkennen:
    Jim Rogers sagt: wenn Supply und Demand bei Commodities auseinandergehen, entsteht ein jahrelanger Bullenmarkt. Da bei Commodities wie Kaffee, Gold, Erzen es jahrelang dauert um den Supply zu erhöhen, können die Preise jahrelang nach oben gehen.
    Eigentlich ist es fast egal, ob Amerika nun tatsächlich 1500 oder 5000 Tonnen Gold auf den Markt geworfen hat: Fakt ist, dass dieses Gold jetzt wohl alle ist und der zunehmenden Nachfrage von Investoren nicht mehr viel gegenüber steht.

    Falls Herr Ziemann wieder bei mir zitiert: Bitte mit Quellenangabe :)

    Könnte mir mal jemand erklären, weshalb die großen Goldminenaktien seit vielen Tagen derart schwächeln, obwohl der Goldpreis steigt?
    Ob Kinross, Barrick, Newmont, Lihir, Harmony, Yamana, Newcrest ...sämtliche großen bis größeren Minenwerte schwächeln, trotzdem der Goldpreis zulegt. Normalerweise verhalten sich diese Werte doch schon fast optionsscheinmäßig und legen drei- bis viermal so viel zu wie der Goldpreis...

    Wer in den 50ern norwegische Kronen in Dollars tauschen wollte, musste einen Antrag ausfüllen: warum wieso,
    der konnte auch abgelehnt werden,
    Gold war in Frankreich nach dem 2. WK lange verboten. Franzosen haben trotzdem wie wild in Gold investiert.
    Und für Napoleon Münzen wurde 100% aufpreis gegenüber dem Spotmarkt von Tanger und Zürich gezahlt.


    Auch der französische Franc war nach dem Franc-Umtauschverbot von äh...1982 oderso (??) lange Zeit als Devise tot.
    Internationale Händler hatten echt was zu tun, haufenweise Gegengeschäfte.
    Auch eine kriegsgefahr besteht - ja.


    Nur: egal welches Szenario ich beleuchte: am Ende steht man mit EM besser da als mit einem Konto, das eingefroren wurde.
    Wenn Du sagt, dass EM fallen wird: im Vergleich zu was denn: im Vergleich zu den Trillionen an Derivaten, den Milliarden an fiktivem Buchgeld?


    falls es zeitmässig passt, werde ich versuchen auch andere Stoffe zu finden, in die man jetzt investieren könnte und die Wert besser aufbewahren als Giralgeld: Titan? Platin? iridium? Ich denke da nicht an 10 Jahre, sondern eher an 100-200 Jahre. Dass wir heute eine papiergeldwährung haben, mit der jeder Bürger Titan und Iridium kaufen kann, wird in 100 Jahren vielleicht eine aberwitzige Erinnerung sein.


    Ich habe noch gut die Resourcenknappheit aus der DDR vor Augen:
    Dass im westen aus Weissblecht Bierbüchsen gemacht wurden und Rohleitungen aus Kupfer waren, erschien uns in etwa so absurd, als würde man Auto-Stossfänger aus Titan bauen.

    The appearance is, according Bloomberg, to discuss if gold is going higher in order to get the bulls to listen and orally hammer them.

    The manipulators are acting like a child with too much power. Gold is off $10 on a range of 30 dollar points. All this means is when they lose that battle gold is going first to $1224 at unprecedented speed...."

    Die Aden Sisters mit einer sehr positiven Analyse zu Gold, in einem größeren Kontext der Rohstoffe...
    Sie gehören zu den ganz wenigen, die ich neben Jim Sinclair, Monty Guild und Jim Whillie und wenigen anderen, sehr hoch schätze.


    Die weitestgehend skeptische bis sehr pessimistische Einschätzung zu Gold, im Forum und den Medien, stimmt mich zunehmend =) er.!

    As for gold, its main purpose is money. Gold is the ultimate cur­rency, it’s a safe haven and it thrives during economic uncertainty. Gold and commodities tend to move together in a general wave but it will outperform or underperform the other metals and commodities at times.


    China is on the mend and its plans to add more gold to its re­serves is very bullish for gold. China could easily overtake India in gold consumption this year, especially since it’s the first nation to rebound from the global recession. China’s GDP recently rose to 7.9% as the massive stimulus plan and record bank lending began to take effect.


    Gold’s big picture is bullish as you can see on Chart 2. The mega trend is up and the bull market rise since 2001 is turning 8½ years old this month. This is im­portant because the eight year mark has been a key low point for gold going back to the 1960s when gold began trading in the free market.


    THE TIME FOR TRUTH


    Chart 2 shows that this pattern has repeated four times since 1969 and the fifth low is now on the longer side of the normal time span. This low period can vary from 7 to 8½ years, fol­lowing the previous low, which means that, if gold stays above last November’s low, then that $705 low was the low for this time around. This would make it a 7 year 10 month low fol­lowing the previous February 2001 low… just three months shy of the 8 year mark. We’d say that’s pretty close.


    So if the 8 year pattern re­peats, and we believe it will, then current prices are still at good levels for buying new positions. We should have all of our positions bought this month because come the Fall, we could really see gold take off.


    TIMING GOLD


    Chart 3 shows a closer look at gold’s intermediate moves and as you can see, gold has been forming a springboard for upcoming higher prices. As our subscribers know, gold moves in an A-D pattern on an intermedi­ate basis. D declines tend to be the worst decline and gold reached the last D low in November.


    It then rose from those lows in a moderate rise we call “A” which peaked last February. This is when the springboard began as gold de­clined from that high to form a mod­erate “B” low last April at $868.


    Since then, a C rise has begun. It’s been quietly forming a coil and gold looks ready to take off. Gold’s been rising this past month and it’s strong above $935. It reached a nine week high and it would be very strong above $985. A super strong C rise would be underway above $1004, the record high.


    Keep in mind, C rises tend to be the best rise in the pattern. By hitting a new record high, gold would confirm that the bull mar­ket is entering an even stronger phase and it could then rise to near $1200. It would also confirm that the 8 year low indeed happened last November.


    Since November, gold’s been posting higher lows which is also positive action. For now, if gold stays clearly above the July 8 low at $909, it’ll be reinforcing its strong uptrend since November and all systems will continue to be go!

    Hier im Forum haben wir öfter einige Argumente gegen ETF´s vorgebracht und immer wieder zu physischen Edelmetallen geraten.


    Der bestens informierte Insider Sinclair bestätigt dies:



    "ETFs in general deal in paper gold and not in the hard stuff. That is clear as their rise and fall in position simply cannot be either in the cash market or listed futures market. The volume screams that conclusion.

    The only inviting conclusion is that producers and gold banks have made huge forward sales in the form of off exchange OTC short of gold derivatives to the ETFs they manage.

    This is one of the major reasons the gold banks attempt to cap gold at $960.     X(


    COT, in its capping activities, will be defeated the same way they were defeated in the 1970s. That is when the COT takes on governments while not knowing it, like now.


    The ETF problem will come as a result of any paper exchange in gold failing or finding it publicly difficult to deliver on their paper contracts in physical gold. Yes, in gold the listed exchanges will bring down the OTC short of gold to the ETFs.


    Should this occur, and it will in time on the COMEX, concern over the paper gold at the ETFs will cause significant shifting into the physical metal. ...."

    Das fleißige Knastgenie Martin Armstrong schon wieder mit einem neuen Aufsatz- sehr kompakt auf diesmal nur 7 Seiten und äußerst lesenswert, weil er darin seine Auffassung zu Zyklen und Mustern ebenso darlegt wie die Überzeugung, dass stark inflationäre Entwicklungen anstehen. Inflation hier aber eindeutig als Folge eines sich abzeichnenden immensen Vetrauensverlustes in das monetäre System als solches, nicht als das völlig an der heutigen Realität vorbeigehende Muster von normalen Produktions- und Preiszyklen.
    Sehr deutlich auch seine gewagten Prognosen zum Goldpreis in $ - auch die Aktienmärkte müssten in diesem Szenario das kommende Inflationsgeschehen mitvollziehen:


    Already, the world is starting to disbelieve the economic statistics put out by the United States. Nothing is real and this is contributing to the steady decline in Public Confidence. Since the "club" makes a living from selling the Gov't debt, they do nothing to help the nation, only hasten its demise to fill their pockets along the way.


    Gold continues to consolidate below the $1,000 level. This is a critical sign that confidence is swinging away from the government. Just as China is concerned for the dollar, they speak the truth unlike the bullshit we hear from Washington. They are speaking with regard to their self-interest and so is Washington. China is concerned about its holdings of dollars and has been reducing their maturity. The Washington crowd is also speaking out of their selfinterest insofar as they do not want to face reality and keep telling everyone don't worry, be happy!


    It appears gold is building a base from which a rally up to $2,500-$3,000 area is very likely. There is even a possible rise up to the $5,000 level. But that is the most extreme projection. This is suggesting that confidence in the dollar is declining. This is not the classic "inflation" nonsense,, but the collapse in currency value consequence. The Dow Jones Industrials are still poised to make new record highs with the Dow testing the 20,000 level. However, you must understand that the pattern of how you get there is usually the pendulum. The more you swing to the bottom, the higher the rise to the zenith.

    Danke,auratico. Derart gnadenlos hat bislang kaum jemand die USA kritisiert, besser gesagt die Auswüchse eines die Realität immer weiter verleugnenden und Fakten verfälschenden Systems.
    Seine Bitterkeit ist nicht nur durch seinen persönlichen Umstände allein zu erklären....


    Leider macht er dieses mal zur Zeitachse der Goldpreisentwicklung keine Aussage, hier muß er sich der Realität der Aktivitäten des Goldkartells stellen...
    Der Goldpreisanstieg insbesondere als Folge des fallenden Vertrauens in den Dollar...
    Auch er sieht den stärker werdenden Druck Chinas auf den Dollar:
