    Der Kurs von LIO zieht heute mit für diesen Zwerg ungewöhnlich hohen Käufen stark an, momentan 0,69 C$ +16,9 % [smilie_blume] , warum ?

    2. Im Stockhouse Board heute ein ansprechender Bericht zum Nachbarn von LIO, Vatukoula Gold Mines:


    "Dec. 30, 2017 Fiji Sun:
    Vatukoula Gold Mines Limited has invested over $40 million to allow workers to dig deeper and further away from the existing infrastructure.
    “The richest parts which are closest to surface have been mined out in the last 18 years,” Dinny Laufenboeck, the company’s Corporate Services Manager and Special Advisor to the General Manager said.
    “So we have to go deeper and further away from the existing infrastructure.”
    “That is a huge cost and while doing all this we have to keep the mine dry by pumping water out, have it ventilated and provide lighting.”
    The areas that have been producing the best ore and veins have diminished.
    Over the past 75 years, the mine has produced over seven million ounces of gold...."

    Nach div. Depot Umschichtungen, hierüber hatte ich in einigen Threads berichtet (u.a. Teilverkauf von FNV, KDX, FVI), ist LIO bereits seit Mitte Dezember 2. schwerste Aktie im Depot nach Kirkland, etwas ungewöhnlich für einen Zwerg.

    Da es bei LIO bereits zu Missverständnissen kam zwecks der Goldgehalte und der aktuellen Bewertung, habe ich mich auch nochmals kurz mit LIO befasst. (in den Haywood-Tabellen stehen falsche Werte)


    LIO hat 0,7675 Moz. zu durchschnittlich 9,22 g/t.


    Der Cash-Bestand ist hoch und beträgt 25,54 Mio. C$. Das entspricht bei einem Share-Price von 0,63 C$ stolze 39,8 % der Market Cap.


    Der EV/oz liegt somit bei 40,22 $/oz.


    Das Management hält 22 % der eigenen Aktien. Das ist ein sehr guter Wert.

    Nun fingen einige an, ihn anzuspeien, ihm das Gesicht zu verhüllen, ihn dann mit der Faust zu schlagen und zu ihm zu sagen: »Weissage uns!« Auch die Gerichtsdiener versetzten ihm bei der Übernahme Schläge ins Gesicht.

    Bei LIO habe ich nach wie vor ein gutes Gefühl, nur nervt dieses merkwürdige Kursgehampel etwas, der Kurs berührte das Jahrestief heute. Das Projekt zieht sich so dahin; Die Fundamentals sind jedenfalls OK, LIO ist und bleibt baw die 2.schwerste Depotposition.

    Sehr schön dort die Geschichte der Mine, die ich mal hereinstelle:

    Tuvatu Gold Expected to Get Further $140m


    Lion One Metals expects to invest a further $140 million into its Tuvatu Gold Project by the end of 2019.
    This is in addition to the initial $100 million the com­pany invested into starting the project as they aim to be­come the premier high grade gold producer in Fiji.
    The Canadian company’s general manager Stephan Mann said apart from the $140 million additional to be spent on development, the company would also continue exploring its tenements holding in the Sabeto Valley to ensure the mine will operate for a long time into the future.
    Lion One Metals holds a 200 square km exploration license package covering the entire Navilawa volcano, with the Tuvatu mining lease at its centre.
    “Lion One also contributes funds to vari­ous community projects, and currently em­ploys all local staff,” said Mr Mann.


    Best practices
    He also said building a new gold mine to international best practices required con­siderable funds to ensure the project was at the appropriate standard from an environ­mental and safety point of view, and well as economically viable.
    The Tuvatu Gold Project sits in the Navil­awa volcano, in the upper reaches on the Sabeto mountain range and looking down over Nadi Airport.
    “The development of the Tuvatu gold mining project is moving along steadily,” Mr Mann said.
    “The company has been, and remains very active in its exploration activi­ties to ensure it identifies further resources so any mining operation will be running a long time into the future.
    “The company is hoping to develop a very long term mining operation which will benefit all the people of Fiji for a long time to come.
    “In relation to its development activities, the company has commenced civil earth­works for the area which will contain the process plant and surface infrastructure.
    “This includes upgrades of roads and bridges throughout the area.”
    Mr Mann said the company has also dewa­tered the pre-existing exploration decline into the ore body so it was able to drill, sample and geologically map the gold min­eralisation.
    “Lion One has a large tenement area to explore for gold and other minerals in the Sabeto Valley.
    “Within that area, it also has a 384 hectare mining licence, within which it can mine for minerals,” he said.
    “In actual fact, some of the delays to the project are due to changes made to the pro­posed mining operation to ensure that Lion One’s Tuvatu Gold Mine is built to the highest international standards.”
    The mining operation has not commenced as of now and the company does not expect the first shipment of gold until early 2020.


    About new ventures
    Mr Mann said every new mining venture en­countered obstacles now and again, and Tuva­tu was no different.
    “The company has spent a lot of time de-risk­ing the project to ensure it will abide by the highest safety and environmental standards, and it will be economically operational long into the future.
    “This means that the company has to be pro­active in identifying problems before they are encountered and address them early in the pro­cess.
    “The company is very grateful of the support of the community, landowners, Government departments and other stakeholders, all of whom have helped ensure that any potential problem can be addressed as soon as possible.”
    The company currently employs almost 50 lo­cal staff members and has no resident expatri­ate staff.
    “When the operation is commissioned and commences gold production late in 2019, the company will have around 250 local employees.
    “Additional to that, the company contracts a lot of its work to local companies, and as such, the company will have direct and indirect workforce of in excess of 2500 people.”

    Lion One Metals Limited (TSXV: LIO) (ASX: LLO) (OTCQX: LOMLF) (FSX: LY1) (the "Company") announces that a surface sample of 502 g/t gold over 0.70 metres has been returned from the Jomaki prospect 1 km from the planned mill site at its 100% owned and fully permitted Tuvatu Gold Project, now in the development stage, located on the island of Viti Levu in the Republic of Fiji.
    The high grade assay result was returned from bench sampling, and extends the Jomaki prospect, located 1,300 metres south-west of the main mineralized zone at Tuvatu, and 1 km south-west of the planned mill site. The Jomaki prospect consists of a zone of closely spaced veins that have been mapped over a strike length of 400 metres which remain open to the north and south. This new sample was taken 21 metres east of a previously collected 125 g/t gold result. Both high-grade samples are from steep east dipping veins within the Nadele Breccia (an extrusive volcanic breccia) and near to the contact with the Navilawa Monzonite.
    "The objective of Phase One of the 2018 surface exploration program is to confirm zones of high grade gold inside our Mining Lease but distinct from the main zone of mineralization at Tuvatu," said Stephen Mann, "We expect to report further results from the 2018 sampling programs soon."

    0,48 C$ war kurz das JT, dies sollten wir kaum wieder sehen. Daß sich ein sehr kenntnisreicher und überaus erfolgreicher Spezi wie Brien Lundin so positiv zu LIO aus seiner 30 positionen umfassenden Liste äussert, ist beachtlich und bestätigt meine eigene Zuversicht für diesen Zwerg mit hoher Gewichtung im Depot.
    Bei dieser Gelegenheit bewirbt Lundin seine wesentliche Beteiligung an einem weiteren Fiji Wert, nun ja..


    Aber wie gerufen die letzte Info mit sehr hochgradigen Bohrproben, es wird nicht die letzte hier sein, ganz sicher.
    M.E. dümpelt der Kurs insbesondere deswegen, weil sich trotz aller vorliegenden Genehmigungen die Entwicklung zäh dahin zieht, möglicherweise sammelt Berukoff die noch erforderliche Finanzierung...

    Was mir bei positiven Meldungen solcher Zwerge wie Lion One immer wieder auffällt, sind die mit den positiven Meldungen einhergehenden Umsätze. Bei Lion One sind es jetzt, knapp 4 Stunden nach Handelsbeginn, sagenhafte 30.700 Stück bei einem Kurs von 0,57 CAD und einem Plus von 11,76%.


    Leute, Leute: Was soll erst mit den Kursen passieren, wenn im Zuge eines besseren Sentiments für Edelmetalle ernstzunehmende Umsätze in EM-Aktien erfolgen?


    Auch unter diesem Aspekt muß die Kabale (bzw. das US-Establishment) weiter an den Edelmetall-Kursen rumschrauben - auf daß der EM--Markt bloß keine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht.

    Hohe Grade über 70 cm macht natürlich noch keine Mine (oberflächennahe 0.8 g/t über 180 Meter aber schon...), wie du selber weisst. Womit ich nichts gegen L. gesagt habe, aber eine solche Meldung ist nicht 100% seriös...obwohl es regelmässig gemacht wird...hurrah...Bonanza....

    Stockhouse / Bullboard ist oftmals sehr informativ. So wird aktuell berichtet, daß Berukoff 3 Interviews in Rundfunksendern gegeben hat, u.a in Michigan Radio.


    Dort hat Berukoff den Wert des Projektes (angeblich) auf rd. 600 - 1000 Mio $ in 2 Jahren beziffert. Auch, daß er Angebote habe, (vermutlich zur Finanzierung ?)....
    Sei mal so dahin gestellt. Daß dieses Projekt am Ende ein Kursvervielfacher werden dürfte, ist meine lange Überzeugung, sonst wäre LIO nicht einer meiner schwersten Depotwerte.


    Die äusserst gute Erfahrung mit ihm und der damaligen Miramar, die an Goldcorp verkauft wurde -- valueman war mit dabei -- stimmt mich zuversichtlich, ist aber ganz persönliche Einschätzung.
