    Sokoman and Benton Announce Discovery of High-Grade Lithium-Bearing Pegmatites at Golden Hope in Southwestern Newfoundland



    Two samples, 110 m apart, return 1.95% and 0.49% Li2O respectively



    St. John's, Newfoundland--(Newsfile Corp. - August 16, 2021) - Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV: SIC) (OTCQB: SICNF) ("Sokoman") and Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ("Benton"), which are 50/50 members of a joint exploration alliance previously announced on May 10, 2021 (together, "the Alliance"), are pleased to announce that they have discovered a swarm of lithium-bearing pegmatite dikes on the Golden Hope Joint Venture Project in southwestern Newfoundland, Canada. Benton's President and CEO Stephen Stares and Director Michael Stares, along with Sokoman's President and CEO Timothy Froude and consultant Sean O'Brien, identified the pegmatites on a recent field visit, collecting three grab samples over a 110-m-width across the dykes. Two of the samples returned 1.95% Li2O and 0.49% Li2O, believed to be the first discovery of significant lithium mineralization on the Island of Newfoundland. Lithium occurrences in the Appalachian belt are well known and include important deposits in the Carolinas in the eastern US, as well as in the geologically equivalent Caledonides of Ireland.
    The lithium mineralization is situated in a so-far unknown-sized zone or swarm of pegmatite dykes with an apparent width of 110 m and as-yet unknown strike length. Random grab samples were collected near what is believed to be the northern and southern limits of the zone and submitted to Actlabs in Ancaster, Ontario for analysis by Sodium Peroxide Fusion ICPOES + ICPMS.

    Further to the company's press release of June 21, 2021, Altair Resources Inc. has commissioned LA Geological & Mining Solutions (Ghana) to prepare a National Instrument 43-101 technical report covering the Marbera 2 tenements in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
    Altair previously signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of the properties containing promising gold prospects in the extreme southwest region of Burkina Faso. The properties host historical (non-National Instrument 43-101 compliant) resources exceeding 1.3 million ounces of gold, in bulk tonnage and potentially open-pit configuration, and which are expected to have significant upside potential.
    The reader is cautioned that historical gold resources cannot be relied upon as they need to be confirmed by a qualified person through additional sampling, analysis and possibly additional drilling. A National Instrument 43-101 mineral estimate report on the property has now been commissioned by the company to qualify the historical estimate and profile the property characteristics.
    Acquisition highlights
    The three prospects, consisting of approximately 17,879 hectares, are located in one contiguous permit in the productive Precambrian greenstone terrane of Burkina Faso. Up to 2012, extensive diamond drilling, reverse circulation drilling, trenching, air core and auger work totalling 387,000 metres have been completed with a total of 294,000 samples taken. The three prospective open-pit historical resource targets include: prospect 1 with historical tonnage of 39.6 million tons of near-surface, potentially open-pit material grading 0.97 gram per tonne gold for 1.24 million ounces of gold delineated by 342,000 metres of metreage; prospect 2 with historical tonnage of 4.2 million tons of also potentially open-pit material grading 0.83 g/t gold for 112,000 ounces gold delineated by 27,000 metres of metreage; and prospect 3 with historical tonnage of 1.2 million tons of also potentially open-pit material grading 0.91 g/t gold for 35,000 ounces gold delineated by 19,000 metres of metreage.

    Kurioserweise fällt der Kurs heute.


    Ja, es ist Guatemala, heißes Terrain, aber eine kleine Position habe ich hier mal gekauft.
    Der Abverkauf ist ungerechtfertigt, was sich meiner Überzeugung nach im Verlauf der noch kommenden Veröffentlichungen der ausstehenden Bohrergebisse beheben wird. Daher spekuliere ich auf eine kurzfristige Reboundchance.
    Wegen Guatemala und der Tatsache, dass Grund und Boden Radius Gold gehören und Volcanic nur ein JV erreichen kann, für mich wohl eher keine Langzeitaktie.

    Wird zugelassen, dass Geld auch anderweitig als durch Arbeit geschöpft wird,
    wird jeder Tätige seiner Wertschöpfung genau insoweit beraubt, als die anderweitige Geldschöpfung an der insgesamten Geldentstehung beteiligt ist.

    M.E. hat auch noch nie ein Forumsteilnehmer in diesem Thread weder deine Explorer Posts aufgegriffen, noch ein "like" gegeben noch kommentiert. Interessiert offensichtlich nicht... also was gibt es da an dieser Kritik nicht zu verstehen ?

    Nach dem zähen Rückgang auf das Tief aus dem Frühjahr 2020 bei 19 CAD-Cent, den ich/wir uns vor 3 Monaten wohl nicht hätten vorstellen können, gab es gestern endlich ein Lebenszeichen (+ 17 %) nach folgender Meldung.

    Neben der Ankündigung eines neuen Bohrprogramms hilft hier auch mglw. der Verweis auf die noch ausstehenden Bohrgebnisse, die also einfach nur sehr verzögert sind. Zudem wurde jetzt auch ein weiteres Labor beauftragt.

    Der Markt hat gerade Migräne. Gewinnmitnahmen und massives Volumen heute bei Puma, also jede Menge Käufer. Mal sehen, ob eine Welle nach unten losgetreten wird und wo sie dann enden wird. Dort dann zu kaufen könnte bei den grandiosen, oberflächennahen Bohrergebnissen interessant sein.
